This store is a hot mess. Everything's crammed in so tight and it becomes overwhelming to shop there. They put out too much stuff in the ladies department along with all the clearance racks... it's confusing and hard to find anything. There aren't enough dressing rooms and there's always a line to get in one. Now they've added a dressing room attendant, too. I really don't know if I'm going to shop there again.

Stupid games and attitude are all there is to be found at this store.

I purchased men's clothing items a week ago. The guy ringing me up was going insane asking all the customers to "Ring The Bell" without explaining why to most of them. As it turns out, WE the customer are supposed to ring the bell if we got excellent service. When did JCP become Arby's?

Today, I went to return the two items I purchased and the sales rep Andre couldn't have been less helpful and outgoing if he tried. It was obviously a busy Sunday and I was simply one more transaction he didn't really want to have to deal with. He stated that I HAD to have my JCP card to do the refund. When I explained that I left it at home and asked if he could pull it up with my Driver's license, he said I'd have to use my SSN. No problem, I didn't want to be obstreperous.

I'm finding that actually going into your stores to be a pain and not an enjoyable shopping experience. Ordering online, getting what I need, usually finding a great sale, all without games or attitude.

Do you really wonder why I buy anything I can online?
I spend well over 10K a year with my Amazon Prime account, because I can get what I need, without the crap.

I also purchase online from Walmart, JCP, Kohls, Belks, Lowes, Jet, and anywhere I can get SERVICE without attitude or games.

There is no mystery as to why the brick and mortar stores are dying. What used to be a wonderful experience, shopping in the stores, is a pain in the ass now. It's not worth the effort.

JCPenney is my go-to for clothes at an affordable price. I visited today for the first time since the pandemic began and before going I checked the website to see if the fitting rooms were open. The website says they are open as long as not required to be closed by the state, which GA does not. At the store, I found that the fitting rooms had signs in front of each fitting room stating that the particular fitting rooms were closed, but that another was open nearby. After not finding an open one, I asked an employee who stated that they were all closed. She denied that the website stated they were open. If you want to close your fitting rooms, that's totally the store's choice, but the website and in-store signage need to be changed to reflect this and not waste customers' time.

Love the clothes! They have some high prices but when they have sales they discount everything to where the prices are exceedingly affordable. Definitely has a lot to offer besides clothing.

Drove all the way over here to buy multiple pairs of dresspants , but they won't let you try them on . Thats impossible to even know if they fit correctly then what a waste . You're open people are walking around . You really think not letting someone try pants on makes a difference. Well it did lost sales

Found a pair of great shoes but didn't like that the dressing rooms were closed. Had to buy what I wanted, went to another store that had their dressing rooms open, try the items on and then had to go back to return what I didn't want. Won't go back and do that again.

The Mall of Georgia is the worst store around for Customer Service. I was there again today in the Men's Department and it's always in disarray like a tornado hit. I couldn't find an Associate to help but wasted 45 minutes to find what I wanted. Went to the Department 30 ft away to check out who was just standing there drinking coffee with no Customers and she said she couldn't check me out that I had to go to the other side of the store to check out and shrugged. I layed the shirts down right there and left. This is how it is every time I go to this store. I then went to the JC Penney website to email a complaint and there's no link to send one. I called the 800 Customer Service number and she basically said she would send a complaint to HR for them to review the complaint. She couldn't take my name, number and email address so I would get feedback that they addressed the problem. Like I said, the Customer Service in the Men's Dept. is horrendous when I go once a month. Some days I have time to deal with their BS but after 45 mins today I couldn't. The store at Gwinnett Place Mall is right on par with the MOG and it's been closed. I'll look at taking my business to a competitor and encourage everybody else to do the same through Social Media

I love that you can pay your bill at Penney's if you need to. Store has plenty of really good deals right now (10/30/18). I enjoy the brands there as well. I recommend the store at Mall of GA.

Terrible customer service in store and over the phone. It's like they don't want to do their jobs and are also mad that you dare ask them a question about a product. Highly disappointing experience.

The store itself is ok. Horrible selection of baby and toddler clothing. That area is always a mess.
In addition, their online customer service is absolutely horrible. I was hung up on twice! Would not honor the deal that I ordered online, when one of the pairs of shoes I purchased and charged for was out of stock. Very disappointed in JC Penney.

Have you ever been at a store and opened a product...

Have you ever been at a store and opened a product box to look inside? I was at sephora and wanted to look at a bronzer, this particular bronzer was a 3 in 1 and it was puzzling to me, so I opened the box to inspect what it was about.
I couldn't easily close the box fast enough when a employee of the store came to treat me like a toddler. "What are you doing with that"? "Are you going to buy that?" I said I wanted to look inside, and she says that they had to treat opened merchandise like a loss, that they couldn't sell it and took the item away. I was like ok... on that same rack there were at least 20 boxes that looked dated, used and obviously opened.

I shouldn't have bought anything, that was probably racial profiling and a load of bs. Don't know why I even stopped there because I use Jane Irridale.

I purchased a smart watch for my wife. It did not work so I brought it back to exchange it for another one as my wife liked the look. Walking up to the jewelry counter there was only one associate who showing a prospective customer some jewelry pieces. I stood at the counter with my wife and 4 kids for about 12 minutes completely in acknowledged. A simple, I ll be right with you as soon as finish with this customer. would have been perfect. However she chose to completely ignore me and act if my whole family of 6 were invisible. Finally the customer walks off to look at other things and this associate looks over and gloomy asks, what do you need? This associate named Fauz really appeared to hate her life. I explained the situation and asked for an exchange. She got out a new watch and began stabbing the box with a pen vigorously in an attempt to open the box. I quickly grabbed the box and stated I d open before she damaged the new watch. I opened the box and asked her to adjust the watch links to fit my wife s wrist. She said Take it home and make sure it works first because if we adjust the links we can t take it back. I asked is there no way to simply put the links back if this watch was defective also. She replied with Well that s more work for me so I cannot do that. If you want me to adjust the links now I don t take it back if it doesn t work. Wow, I ve never met an associate this lazy in my life. its employees like this that will force jcpenny into bankruptcy, not amazon. I told her to keep everything and just give me a full refund. No $300 smartwatch sale for the company thanks to her horrendous attitude

The customer service at this place is garbage. If you want to be followed around and stalked while you shop by a employee by the name of Ralph be my guest. Every department my family and I went to he showed up as well. As if he was folding clothing that was already folded up. I will never suggest or come back to this store.
