I ve used ITEL hundreds of times over the past 7 years. They ve always been prompt, courteous, and thorough in their evaluations.

I continue to use their sample evaluation service and their on site app with 30 minute turnaround time is great for basic materials evaluation.

I ll continue to use them for years to come.

I sent them a flooring sample, they billed me $80, and then sent us an e-mail that same day saying they couldn t get us pricing for it. We told them that we should be reimbursed for the $80 but they refused. I don t know about you but, professionally, I only bill for services performed...

ITEL Laboratories claims to be an independent labo...

ITEL Laboratories claims to be an independent laboratory for evaluating the value of your floor covering for insurance reimbursement. However, they consistently price flooring as coming from Home Depot. Not other big box stores...just HD. They will claim that the material can be bought for say, $1.00. When you go into the store it is priced between $1.30 and $2.00. So why does this matter? Because, you don't want your new floor to be lower quality than your old floor. As the old adage goes, "you get what you pay for." Especially with Floor covering. ITEL always chooses the lowest denominator....as if they are looking out for the insurance companies best interest....not the consumer! If possible, search through your receipts for the floor covering you installed and submit that to your insurance company. This amount per square foot should be adjusted for inflation. The other option would be to take your material and find something at a floor covering store that is the same color, quality, fiber..... Determine how much it would cost to buy your floor covering now. Then you will be ready for a discussion with your insurance company about the value of your floor.

This place works for insurance companies to save them money, they matched my siding to something that doesn't even exist now I have to prove it doesn't exist . I wish they would put the pieces in their hands before they say it matched. Half butted work , don't be fooled they get paid to save I insurance companies money

Terrible operation.

Terrible operation.
They seem to be in lock step with the insurance companies. Low ball pricing.
If I could give them 0 stars I would!

Insurance companies use this company to deceive people into believing the prices they wanted to payout for a claim was accurate. Buyer beware, they identified a laminate floor that could not be purchased at the price they claimed. They evaluated the thickness of the floor and failed to identify the unique handscraped designs which increased the cost of the product. One more thing....It is illegal for an insurance company to set pricing. They do it all the time and claim they are using guidelines. The true guideline is what the retailer says the cost is. Don't fall into the Xactimate trap.

This is easily one of the worst flooring matching companies ever created. I can not believe insurance companies trust you guys to use you when you never provide accurate flooring results. Trash

They I believe work in direct with insurnace companies when you send in a siding match half the time their matches r false or trash. Which in return makes the process of working with the insurnace more of a pain because they argue that "well if itel says its a match its a match" they dont of no credibility what so ever its the perfect fraud

Never will use this company ever again. Don t be in business if you can t provide accurate floor pricing. Every single sample we have sent in and have had a second report done has been inaccurate. Do not trust ITEL, they lie and cater to insurance companies.

DO NOT ACCEPT ITELL'S report on the value of your flooring. The report I received said the manufacturer of my tile was EmserTile. They said it was ceramic. They valued it at $1.91 per square foot. I took the tile directly to Emser Tile (6314 Airport Frwy in Haltom City, 76117) and asked for verification. They told me that they did not make that tile. They flipped the tile over and showed me the distinguished pattern on the back side and clearly identified it as made from Dal-Tile. They also determined from the color on the back that the tile was porcelain and not ceramic. They showed me comparable value tiles in their showroom which ranged from $5.89 to 8.99 in value.

I took the tile to the Daltile headquarters (3328 Fossil Creek Blvd., Fort Worth, 76137). They verified it was one of their own but no longer manufactured. They showed me other ways to distinguish between ceramic and porcelain tiles such as the absence of striping on the side of the tile, the straight edges, the texture, etc. They told me that comparable values of tile ranged from $5 to $13.

I took the sample to Carpet One in Fort Worth (6700 Camp Bowie Blvd) and to The Tile Shop (6316 Airport Frwy, 76117). Both verified the tile was porcelain and easily identifiable as manufactured by Daltile. Both showed comparable tiles ranging in price from $5.89 to $11.

Many people have suffered because of ITELL's negligence. ITELL needs to be accountable for their errors. The insurance companies who pay for their reports and the public taken advantage of by their false claims need to be aware.
