Excellent ambience one of the best hotels in New Delhi

Great comfort, amenities and ambience. Love the Colors in the room and the decor. However the rooms were on the smaller side and could have done with more space for movement. Breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of healthy options.

Best Luxury hotel in NEW DELHI,
Fittingly, the 438-room property is situated in the Capital s exclusive Diplomatic Enclave in Chanakyapuri, in close proximity to Delhi s corridors of power. The hotel has long been the favoured accommodation of heads of state, royalty and business leaders from across the world. The various suites are named after famous personalities from the Mauryan age that include the Chanakya grand presidential suite, the Chandragupta presidential suite and many more. While the interiors of these suites provide a whiff of the Gupta Empire, the polished marble, carved teaks, and stone, and iron caste structures define the Mauryan period.

I liked this hotel more than others , the views from outside and the interiors , ambiance, cleanliness, everything was systematically.

Great ambience, very friendly staff. Archana at the guest reception was simply awesome in helping, explaining the facility and also walking me to the room. Her smile was sure charming and lit up the evening.

I recently stayed here for one night. The checkin was a bit complicated perhaps due to some big group checking in. As the rooms were delayed, we were offered a coffee in the Cafe which was a nice gesture for the hotel.
The Room
The room offered is small but spacious. It has all modern equipments but gives a very worn down looks. The carpet, drapes, bathroom everyone had a very tired look. Ample stock of water in the room which is a big advantage to keep yourself hydrated. The mini bar has many products from ITC sold at the MRP which is quite nice too. Internet is a problem as for some reason the laptop wasn't able to connect to hotel wifi. The hotel staff had to drop in a few times to help.

The Restaurants
As a hotel guest you get a preference for booking table in Bukhara. We were allocated a table and as usual food was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was a wonderful stay at the hotel for me. The staff was very cooperative. I wish I had stayed there longer. The rooms are pretty big, clean and full of comfort. The services are world-class.

The receptionist have no idea how to check inn and check out. he was taking too much time. The guard at parking idea needs to be dismissed as he was rude and banged on my car for not giving him money .overall a bad experience but restaurants are good but room service is pathetic.have to wait for 2 hours for food .
