Some places don't have to try too hard to express the grandeur. The opulent vibes hit you the moment you step in!
Deccan Pavilion at the ITC KAKATIYA, A Luxury Collection Hotel is a classic example of luxury dining. And when cuisine is Hyderabadi, the feast is but natural a masterpiece.
A Sunday Brunch having an extensive spread is nothing new but what makes Deccan Pavilion the best brunch I have ever had is the perfection in each dish. 70+ preparations and each one of them is like a Chef's Special. I always trust veteran Irani restaurants for authentic Hyderabadi food but when I tasted the Margh here, I realised authenticity can be coupled with excellence! The Margh was levels above what we Hyderabadis are used to having at weddings. So was the Biryani! Subtle Biryani flavour and aroma without any drama of spices and meat that you can never get enough of!

I can go on and on describing the goodness of each dish but you have to experience it relish it!

wonderful place. we didn't like our room and the manager moved us to the Nizam Suite. WOW. They saw that we were with our two small kids and the nanny and they were so kind.

We had a family dinner at ITC kakatiya -Dakshin at Hyderabad on the eve of Dussera .the food was excellent and par beyond words. the selected menu was authentic south Indian menu with garlic gravy which mean in tamil pondu kolambu and appam .
spinach curry and dhal was awesome . I would extend my thanks to kamesh who had taken care of us like a family . I would also thank chef sankara for his dishing these specila on the festival day which has made the occasion memorable to all of us.

The ambiance of the hotel is very good. Moreover, the hospitality is exemplary.

My experience here was absolutely exhilarating and was very true to the word 'luxury'. The staff was very welcoming and full of warmth. In my opinion, no other 5 star in the country can match the kind of hospitality that ITC offers. It was a pleasure staying here and I will surely visit this place again in the future.

ITC is a nice hotel for English speakers. The English proficiency is not the best but the staff tries. The staff has a really hard time understanding over the phone so speak slowly and clearly, but are really fast in person. All of the staff are friendly and professional. The Executive Lounge is nice but seems understaffed. The food is great and are prices you expect from a 3 or 4 star hotel, over priced and small portions.

Update: The staff reviewed my comments and are working on updating the staff in the lounge to meet the needs. Management is engaged and actually asked me for more detailed information about my review. I will stay here again on my next trip. Because of this I am changing from 3 to 5 stars.

Delightful experience. The place is in tune with the standards set by ITC group of hotels. Additionally it is a blend of a local Hyderabad cuisine and the modern delicacies. Being just in front of CMs residence makes it sensitive and may sometimes lead to traffic stoppage for security reasons. Otherwise one of the best places to stay at in Hyderabad.

I am there several times a year. Allways a pleasure to stay in this hotel. But no drinks on the pool.... :-(
