Quite surprisingly, the prayer is done in a room where men and women are only separated by barriers but what a joy to see this ethnic diversity pray on Friday. I really did not expect me to have the room filled. , it is not a mosque per se but actually a multicultural religious center
They offered class, lectures, and Different activities.
I've allotted of meet. Individuals that are sweet and kind.
I really love coming here.
I've meet plenty of individuals especially during the month of Ramadan and class.

It's really fun in traveling to be able to pray, meet Muslim brothers, even if you don't say hello, with greetings, God willing, our hearts are bound in ukhuwah Islam, the spirit continues to brother and sister in rahmatan lil alamin's Islamic missionary in NYC
Need to ask the guard inside the 238 gate for directions. They'll help you.
Excellent place for reflection, prayer and community. They arrange high quality programming year round.
It s located in the Global Center for Academic & Spiritual Life at 238 Thomson St which also houses the Catholic Center at NYU. Visitors need to register at the lobby and provide a photo ID. The prayer room is at level 4.
Not sure if it s also accessible via the Kimmel Center at 60 Washington Square South. We had already come in via Thomson St so didn t try to exit a different way.
There is no sign for the qiblat so unless you re joining a jama ah, then you need to ask someone or use a prayer app.
They accept all forms of Islam and other religions. The view is incredible!
Whether you need a quick place to pray, or want to get involved with the many ICNYU events, this is a perfect place to be.
Khalid Latif and Suhaib Webb are amazing. This community is so lucky to have the two of them be their leaders. Loved the khutba. Loved the crowd.
Very nice and clean but little difficult to find at first. It is in the 4th floor. You need to sign in the reception.
excellent pray space and community. has separate ablution room
Jumaa is on fifth floor. The masjid is Not accessible on weekends!
Beautiful Multicultural Cosmopolitan environment, Upon the truth.
Friday prayer start 1:15 pm and jamaat around 1:45/1:50
During Ramadan, Iftar time. Sense of community is wonderful
Amazing facility with such a welcoming environment.
Building at the corner & take the entrance middle of the street through the glass door,
On 4th floor all the way to the right side..
Alhamdulillah found this place for Magrib, beautiful place.
Very knowledgeable staff by having an extensive stock range, a bit more pricy than online but around made up for in fact handling and testing it again before purchase
Recommended to check out used and refurbished items on a good price and together with the statuary years guarantee.
A much needed oasis in the middle of NYC. Incredibly warm and student-friendly atmosphere. And Imam Khalid Latif is a gift for young Muslims in the community.
Masha Allah, Great place for worship, meeting Muslims
Favorite place to worship in the country, hands down. Such a special place, can't recommend it enough.
It is closed in the holidays, so you can not pray in the holidays there.
Amazing community led by Imam Khalid Latif - Muslims in New York City are blessed to have the IC as a resource
Excellent clean place to pray in New York City, highly recommended. Open all day.
The mosque is located near the garden and is on the fifth floor 5 in a government building, where you can use the elevator to reach it very easily, and it is air-conditioned and its area is large.
It's my favorite Islamic places in the US! So welcoming, even to an outsider (I don't live in NYC). People say Salam to you left and right and most importantly, Imam Khalid is the most humble Muslim leader that I've ever met. When my friend and I were visiting, he gave us an hour each to talk to him and showed us around the IC himself. I wish we can create more spaces like ICNYU in the rest of the world!
First of all, all praises being to Allah SWT. The creator and sustainer of the universe. Secondly, I am so thankful to Allah SWT for Islam and being a Muslim.
I was visiting the city with my parents, after a long day of walking we decided to make our Dhuhr at NYU Islamic Center. Easy to find, easy to gain access, the security lady was very nice and respectful, the bathrooms were clean, the designated place to make Wodo was clean. We made our wodo and proceeded to Praying area. Nice room, beautiful and peaceful.
May Allah SWT bless you all for making this happen.
Peace be upon you.
The Islamic Center at NYU serves a diverse Muslim population in the New York and the tri-state area. We provide a safe place for individuals with multiple points of entry to learn, pray, socialize and utilize a space situated at the intellectual and spiritual crossroads.
Wonderful environment, good people to get muslim worshippers. They currently have secured entry in Juma salat.
