My two daughters participated throughout the years in several of the programs offered by Interway and I am sure that the results of their experiences during their stays in the chosen destinations were very useful for their training. Both my brother and I attended a school year in the USA with INTERWAY and the truth is that it was a very enriching experience. My children will do a school year with them outside. It is an experience that makes them mature and teaches them to function on their own. It helps them to generate tools to face the problems that arise, something that we normally inhibit and protect them from. As a parent, not over protecting my children has served me well. Also, to give due importance to the different situations that they can magnify, according to their maturing ages.

My 16 year old niece has been this summer in the program of total immersion in the US, and it has been a great experience. He has been phenomenal with the family, has traveled to many places. They have been constantly watching her. The interway coordinator in Zaragoza, very aware of the details of the stay. In short, very satisfactory.
My daughter has traveled several years with Interway, has always lived wonderful experiences, has practiced the language advancing fluently every year. When she returned she always came proposing a new destination for the following summer, there is no better proof that for her they were always good experiences.
Another point very in favor of the camps with interway are the monitors. My son has been going for several years and I can say that they are very professional. Regrettable!!! My son has studied a year in Ireland, and after finishing the course, he informs us that he is not validated for the year because he has suspended two subjects. Until the moment of this notice, at no time Interway has warned that my son had problems with the grades, they have only notified after finishing the course, and without the possibility of recovering the subjects. A whole year lost from study. Personally I do not recommend them, there is no follow-up of the students in the school, and if they do badly, you find out at the end of the whole, with no possibility of reaction.

16 weeks in Canada. Summarizing a lot and without going into details:
In the student's interview, a questionnaire is filled out to find out their hobbies, priorities, etc Here my daughter answered that she doesn't like animals and she preferred a family without pets and with children her age.
The day of departure is September 1, in August they inform us of the family that has been assigned: a single lady, without children at home, with 1 dog and 3 cats !!! We immediately contacted Interway, in writing saying that there had been an error. After insisting they called us on the phone. From Barcelona, they kindly try to convince us of the opportunity to overcome the aversion to living with animals.
Once there, the house was lost in an area where there was hardly any population. The lady had two jobs with which my daughter spent the afternoons ALONE at home, locked in her room because the dog and cats were waiting in the hall. The thing about LIVING with a family, nothing at all. We brought it to the attention of Interway, when we got a response it was to give us long, that the girl had to integrate ...
By the way, 6 Spanish students met at school. It's not what Interway was selling.
At 4 weeks, my daughter calls us more excited saying that an 11-year-old girl is coming home and that at least she will be able to talk to someone in the afternoon. What was our HORROR when he told us that the girl is a bit problematic and that before her arrival they had taken the knives from the kitchen and had hidden the pills (we were in shock).
We got our hair on edge, many sleepless nights. My daughter would lock herself in the room for fear that I would enter her room while she was sleeping.
The poor girl (abandoned by her mother when she was little, in two years she has gone through ten adoptive families and they have all rejected her) had several attacks and had to go home with the police. To all this, our messages to Interway begging to get our daughter out of that house. The coordinator in Canada that was assigned to him relativized everything. An ordeal.
From Interway Barcelona they tried to contact the Canadian agency to request a change. Here we go into who bears the expenses. Each agency blames the other. A brutal lack of coordination and communication. The days went by Seeing that this was a joke, we asked to change our family, paying what had to be paid.
The days passed and the Canadian coordinator commented that it was not easy to find a family. My daughter commented on the situation she was experiencing at school and we have to be very grateful for the reaction of the families of her classmates. Some did not have students at home and they registered with the agency to take her in.
After the eight weeks of being in Canada, he managed to change his family. To a family to whom we will be grateful all our lives.
I want to make it clear that the solution did not come from Interway or the Canadian agency. The solution was sought by my own daughter.
If you are lucky enough that your child is well in the family assigned to him, the experience can be good. But when things are not going well, you have your underage son on the other side of the ocean, who tells you about the situations he is experiencing and you see that the agencies are fighting you. There are no words to describe the helplessness and abandonment you feel.
This is not going to be the case, for my daughter and for all the families that, paying so much money, entrust the safety and integrity of their children to Interway.
Interway is undoubtedly the best option to learn languages abroad. They gather extensive experience with excellent professionals. It is very easy to know that your children travel abroad with the best means and ample guarantees.
I traveled with InterWay 15 years ago and recently we sent my brother with them to do an academic year in the USA. It shows that it is a family business that puts love in what it does, the treatment is always very nice and you feel very accompanied at all times.

I know them from different points of view. Monitor and coordinator in different years in their Riopar camps, as director in other camps: Delta del Ebro and Alborache; as well as director of language immersion projects. I have to say that during the years I was with them I had other proposals in the same field and I always opted for them for the same reason: seriousness. The security and resources that they offered me to carry out the projects were not offered to me by any other company, even if they paid me more.
I have known Interway for many years, we have shared projects together and I have recommended them to many families and clients. If I had to summarize the feedback from these families, I could use two words: Trust and professionalism. For me they are a reference in Spain.
My son went to the US for a month with Interway last summer and the experience was fantastic. So much so that he was encouraged and this year he has just returned there for the entire academic year.

From experience I can say that they are a great team of professionals to rely on the care and learning of our children.
NOT RECOMMENDABLE. PAINFUL. Last year, the son of some friends made an immersion course in the month of August in the USA, which was focused on a stay of coexistence with an American family, encouraging the learning of the language and the exchange of cultures. Of the objectives set, none of those committed by Interway has been met. The assigned family did not have time to greet him in the mornings; she worked outside the house and the boy almost did not know her, and he worked at home all day dedicated to his business, which prevented him from even having a minimal conversation, so the boy spent his days practically without any activity They did not even have television. Thanks to the fact that he is very outgoing and made friends with other families that welcomed other children and every day he took the bike and traveled a few kilometers to have a relationship with someone, even arriving to spend the night with them on several occasions, sometimes knowing the company and not others. Let's not forget that it is about a minor. The company has not responded to the complaint filed, they have not even been kind enough to acknowledge receipt. Interway completely disregarded everything from the first moment. The selection of families should meet minimum guarantees, since the fact that they do not receive remuneration for it, does not imply absolute neglect of our children, and the filters that these would have to pass through Interway must be much more rigorous. All this "adventure", not to extend more in many details, have made me not send my son this summer to USA with this company, because it leaves much to be desired, especially with the money it costs and that involves a huge sacrifice .

The attention and care I received when I took the course were incredible, and I had no problems with the family and the school. I would repeat the experience more times.
This year my daughter went to the Cultural Experience program in New York and I have to say that the organizing company should check two important things: 1. Visit the houses where the students will be accommodated. In my daughter's case, it was totally unacceptable. A half-built room, with a deplorable bed (to say the least), full of junk, no wardrobe, has had to keep all the clothes in the suitcase for a month. The room did not have any type of ventilation and did not even have a door (living in a house with 3 boys). It's one thing for clutter to be admitted, but this was unsanitary. 2. Check that the host families can serve the students. In the case of my daughter, she hired Cultural Experience, which implies 2 outings a week with the group. Her family couldn't take her anywhere and depended on other families being able to pick her up and take her. If that family cannot join the program, it should not be included as an option, since I have paid for Cultural Experience and not for Total Immersion, which is cheaper.
It does not make much sense that paying the same, one lives a good experience and another does not. I think that the organizing company should monitor and ensure a minimum of things before sending the students. And really, I consider myself a person who adapts very well to everything and I don't usually complain about anything but the house was totally unacceptable.
My experience has been excellent, they explain everything well before you leave, and once there they are all facilities, they help you in everything they can and the organization is very good.
