Boryspil International Airport was founded in 1959 on the basis of a military airfield. You can get there by bus or taxi, from the city limits 20 km. The new terminal for the Football Championship 2012 evokes complex feelings .... Terminal D - the one for both - international and domestic flights. You can get inside the terminal from the ground level entrances (there is a parking lot 50 meters from the entrance) or through the 3 level entrances. For this level you can drive on the ramp, but there is no parking on the 3d level, just dropping area.

Last time they returned me a broken suitcase. Bad experience. There is a lot that needs to be improved, at least you need to take care of passenger luggage. As about transport... From airport you can get to central railway station (located near city center, also there is metro station "Vokzalna") by bus "Skybus" or to any point by taxi Uber. Do not use services of local taxi drivers who can aggresively offer their services!

Taxi is troublesome for arriving passengers. Foreign citizens are not allowed arbitrarily to enter the country, and no official justification can be given. If your system primitive passport has been renewed, the passport control officer cannot see the entry and exit from Ukraine a week ago and you are removed from the queue for additional inspection.

I had to fly through this airport decent conditions still have to work to bring it to a normal level! at least to address me normally and without even having a reason !! absolutely horrible if you do this FAO work for pleasure but not as a beast !!

On August 16th of 2019 we had a flight from Borispil to USA with two stops in Paris and Atlanta. We arrived to the airport 3 hours before our flight. The costumer service was very poor and not helpful. The staff was rude and not willing to help. The employee in a ticket section talked to us without courtesy and was disrespectful. He explained to us that we should check in before we arrived to the airport. We were unable to self check in airport due to unknown reason. In order to get a help to check in the employee charged us 860 Ukrainian griven without providing to us any receipt. My neighbor was charged 75 euro for the same help/service and didn't get any receipt. Very disappointed about Ukrainian costumer service.

Transit zone - mockery of passengers. Today, April 20 at 9 am, a huge queue gathered, many especially foreigners missed their flights and ONE later TWO people sat at the control.
There is NO control and security at any airport in the WORLD for transfers. Why? After all, the passenger just got off one plane and is in the setsuriti zone (only in the Schengen area they check the visa.)
Why this is done in Boryspil is not clear. And even the border guard scans the passport and then ..... MANUALLY writes down the passport number and name ??? Fuck just

Every year the airport looks new, it s very cool that it is developing so fast. At terminal F, it was unfortunate that there was no duty free there. This needs to be fixed. Otherwise, everything is wonderful.

During the quarantine, on August 12, 2020, the airport employee drove the passengers together near the passport control, despite the need not to keep a safe distance. To the displeasure of passengers, he replied: "You will sit even closer in the plane, so do not worry!"

Easily the worst airport I have been in my life. And I have been to many! Non Russian/Ukrainian-speaking travellers are not welcome here and it's very obvious.
Also there is literally no food to be had at this airport.

AVOID! Not a good airport. Employees are arrogant and not helpful at all. If you are not arrogant and pushy as those people, good luck surviving it! In the past I got stuck there for a couple times, got my luggage lost (not transferred on time), almost missed my plane due to personal unavailability. Always angry and hungry looking personal around you makes you feel like you owe them something.

You can't use them. Instead of checking the condition of the toilets regularly, cleaners take care of their reflections in the floor tiles.

Super airport large space helpful staff could do with bit more English signposting but I'm visiting with my Google pixel 3a XL and we have translate with live camera signpost augmentation ability so got it covered.

Nice airport with extremely fast and professional handling. Top. Connection to Kiev is best via UBER (app). Fare at around 270grv (around 8). Don't fall for the private taxi providers at the entrance!

Upon arrival, we turned to a female bass ticket agent with a question why the schedule is out of date on the site, received a bunch of rudeness in return, why not it's not her business, and if we couldn't wait for the bus, take a taxi! and also said that they do not know the site of the airport, and we should look for the bus schedule on their Facebook page !!!!

Nice Clean Airport with friendly people. Toilets were amazingly super clean and functional. Needs more kiosks and services to be added to make it a World Class Hub but in the meantime I'm going to enjoy this little known secret for my trips ... before it gets crowded and dirty! Today I went to exchange money at the machine of the exchanger that is located near 1 baggage belt and a young man approached me with a proposal to help deal with the machine. He had an airport employee tag. He asked how much and persistently tried to help me, after which he offered to exchange money from a taxi driver at a higher rate. This surprised me very much, since in other countries, none of the airport employees are trying to help this, respecting the personal space of another. I politely refused. Having exchanged money, I carefully put them in my wallet. Arriving home, it turned out that I did not have them. I am shocked. I am very ashamed of this country.

Only here, when you are standing in the toilet near the urinal and doing your job, can a female employee come in and start working on her duties without any problems. Only here, for one outlet, there can be a queue with 20 phones, the price of a bowl of noodles with cheese in wounded 300 UAH and some other incomprehensible privileges for people with their small children. This is the main airport of the country (the air gate of Ukraine). The service compared to other international airports is not very good, but the best is constantly changing. I hope soon the service at the airport will be up to standard
