Do not purchase a money order from this company. DO NOT! After following policies and procedures, they DO NOT reimburse, they have not reimbursed three money orders that were damaged. I ve called over the course of three months and they ve made false statements after false statements regarding canceling and reissuing the checks. This is absurd and shameful.

Hello, I used the intermex service in San Rafael Ca, yesterday, September 13 in the afternoon at 6:30 pm. I arrived and said to the lady or girl Hello, good afternoon. Twice. And I was ignored both times. I do not know what kind of customer service that is, but it made me feel very bad, I heard that he was talking on the phone with another person, so he did not anticipate me well, it was his boyfriend or a relative, he could not answer me a good afternoon greeting , twice I was ignored, they should train these people for customer service. First the client, then the boyfriend or the gossip. What happens to these people, are they not studied or what? Why put them to serve the public?

I was using this company. I sent money October/2017 to Colombia and the person never pick up the money because just he forgot until January when he found the ticket. Intermez never ever called me to Inform me this. I went January 31/2018 to ask then to resend the money and I paid again $12 dollars fee for the service. The Agency in Orlando told me that they (person in Colombia) have 30 days to pick up the money. Today, 15 days after I sent the money, Intermex called me to let me know they CANCEL the transfer because In Colombia is 15 days TO PICK UP THE MONEY and that I have to pay the $12 dollars fee AGAIN to resend the money. The person There was out in the bank trying to get his money. Actually the receipt doesn t said that. They said they called me but they can t leave a voice message, not because it was full or so. Just they can t do that , Really??!!! The paper said 30 days clearly.

Avoid to use this place, if you don t like stress up, or have a headache losing $12 dollars every time. They want to play you and even when the paper say 30 days . They don t show any respect for you!

Sent $600 to Mexico and the person must have been new because she didn't inform me that the receiver had exceeded their allowed limit for the month (I've sent money multiple times before and been told right away that I need to send it to somebody else). Went to Mexico and was told the transaction is cancelled and the money was sent back to me. It'll be 2 months next week since I sent the money and they still haven't returned it. I call everyday and they tell me that I am owed the money and they will send a check, but the department that approves these refunds won't be in until tomorrow. They have told me multiple times they will call me back tomorrow and I have never once received a return phone call from them. Terrible company to do business with. I don't know how Robert Lisy sleeps at night knowing he's stealing working class people's money and not paying it back. I just want anybody to know that this wire transfer company is really good at not wiring your money, telling you that you are owed the money and they'll send it, and then stall and give you the run around. If they really need to lie that bad and steal my $600 I would assume that they are having financial issues. I WOULD BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT SENDING MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

I had to cancel all my 3 locations with Intermex since their sales reps do not speak English that good, this is United States your reps need to speak good English. Even when you call their customer service in Miami they answer the phone in Spanish.
