Excellent service, spacious room with awesome shower and big bath. It is getting a bit dated however and there are too few power sockets.

Very comfortable. I pulled a suitcase at night and walked away from Sundton station, but it was safe.
The rooms are large and well equipped. The bathtub is large so you can soothe the fatigue of a long trip with hot water. Of course, the toilet has no washlet.
Nescafe is equipped. Water is an InterContinent original bottle that tastes a little. Various mini-bottles of alcohol and non-alcohol are chilled in the refrigerator.

If you select AlwaysOn for Wi-Fi, select complimentary on the sign-on screen, and register your name and room number, the use of the stay period will be set automatically.
Docomo's roaming MTN-SA radio wave is coming, but it's only a voice call, so you have to go outside, so Wi-Fi settings are essential. Similarly, the roaming Vodacom signal is strong, so it is better to set it again.

The cordless handset was not good when I called the front with the intercom, but it could be used with the speaker.

Superb business hotel. Just next to convention center. Ideal for those who need proper security & want to maintain privacy. Staff is thorough professional & courteous. Sleep quality is good with large comfortable bed.

The rooms nice and quiet. The breakfast leaves something to be desired ... I expected something else. A great inconvenience: the hair dryer is on the table in the room plugged into the wall and can not be removed from there. And they do not have any mirrors to fix so it is not very practical.

Came in for 2 minutes becasue it was the wrong parking. Could not get out unless we went to reception to validate the ticket. I suggest you sort it out. The lady at reception tonight on the28th Dec 00at 18:03 was a bit rude and could not explain properly over the intercom. Sort it out. It was very annoying. Glad it wad the wrong hotel.

Scanty breakfast despite big dinning room.
Nothing to boast about food in such kind of facility. Waiters however very friendly and well informed. Very clean rooms with fast internet connection.

My best 5 star experience in Johannesburg. Easy acess to Sandton, great rooms. Room service inconsistent, more like hit and miss, but plenty of other restaurants in that area.

The staff is very professional, helpful and always available. Breakfast buffet is good and the food overall is of great quality if you decide to eat in. This being said, it does not live up to an European/Asian 5-star hotel rank. The interior design of the hotel itself and the rooms decor is dated. Room light switches are positioned in a weird way, you cannot control the room light from the bed. Bathroom is also dated, bath ammenities are really not up to a 200USD/night hotel, they seem low quality. Room TV is small, probably just an HD quality. Sound insulation can be improved for both outside and lobby noises. The hotel is very well positioned for business stays and you have a direct access to the mall from the 10th floor. Will choose the hotel again, but it really needs a revamp.

Clean and spacious rooms, dark enough in the night to give you enough rest, excellent for business trip.

This is a comparable 5 star business hotel connecting both the Sandton City mall and the Sandton convention center. It is located conveniently across the street from other competing hotels. It is pricey but doesn't disappoint. I particularly like it's gym which offers fresh fruits juices, and a daily dose of local newspapers.

Great location and cozy rooms. Luxury atmosphere but rooms are s bit outdated for a 5 star hotel. The tv in our room was old and had bad screen. Other signs of wear which catch your eye when you know you re in a 5 star hotel. Restaurant was great and chef prepared special food for us. We got a good deal from Expedia but if we d paid full rate over the counter I d be disappointed.

Great location. Friendly staff. However hotel needs a few upgrades. Elevators shake and make strange sounds going up and down.

Stayed here many times in the past 5 years. Keep coming back because of the great beds, the firehose pressure in the shower and the great team in the club lounge.

Great hotel adjacent to the Sandton Convention Centre. They have all the facilities.

A really friendly hotel. Rooms spacious and clean. Food is good. Service is Professional and but not frigid. My only complaint is that late at night sound really travels up the centre of the building. Minor annoyance but with all the stone, it's an echo chamber. Recommended though. Thanks for looking after me guys (oh, and the porters are amazing!)

Hotel located in the modern and trendy district of Sandtown, with good amenities, although the building is not brand new. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, the service pleasant, the breakfast buffet offers a choice. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mandela Square, the place where restaurants and bars are located, very nice for evening dining.

If there's a balcony, it will be perfect!!!!
Smokers have to downstairs to the lobby for smoke. Except it everything is excellent!!!!
