We tried Spears Restaurant and it was less than normal

There is no variety to eat ,, but grills, no pasta, for example, and no variety of edamas. There is only one type of rice and it was cold, and only one type of salad (green salad).

Located on the corniche of Jeddah, litteraly in front of the famous sea fountain this old structure still offer a very good compromise for Saudi standards.

Rooms are no doubts outdated and this is visible particularly in the bathroom and on the closets.

Maintenance is anyway quite good and therefore the structure is still competitive on the market.

Level of service is very good but a litlle below what you expect from Intercontinental and generally IHG.

Restaurants options are good but staffs lack of proper understanding of international cousine.

They are indeed just trained to say yes and not to disappoint the customers even if they really do not understand the customers' request. That's standard for Saudi but again, from Intercontinetal you expect a litlle more.

Overall a good hotel defenitely recommended also if it's by far overpriced for the delivered customer's experience

Not as much as there was so much no Old residential units are classic and need maintenance especially Apartment No. 36 was very poor and I booked two rooms with 3 beds I had two rooms with two beds Important I try to convince them to switch the room

Every thing was good but no bidet sprayer in the bathroom. As well as, customer service they are sometimes slow.

Furniture is very old and bad adjustment and annoying level of cleanliness does not represent the hotel name

One of the most famous and beautiful hotels in old Jeddah in the Hamra district, the most delicious food you can eat in the restaurants of this hotel

When i come to Jeddah i always stay at the Intercon. It's super central and the staff are amazing. It's run by a bunch of young smart Saudis, which is a nice change from hotels staffed by foreigners. They are very serious about making you happy and also very polite. The facilities are not brand new, and sometimes feel a little dated, however everything is more than adequate. The gym is enormous and waaaay better equipped than anywhere else i know of in Jeddah.
In short, not the last word in bling, but a great hotel that will leave you wanting for nothing.

My two-night stay at the hotel was very nice. Check in was easy, and the check in agent was very friendly and professional. The room was as expected: comfy bed and spacious enough. Their meeting and conference rooms were also fabulous.
