Checked in as an elite mbassodor for three days and wasnt entertained as one even once . Hotel is under renewation , we were given one of first newly renewated room . It turned they never had alook at this new room before checking us in . Shower place had no knobs , i had to struggle to turn on the shower after hurting my self with some plastic remnant base of the knob . Whole room was smelling of either paint or egg. We were given a room with balcony which opened to their ac exhaust units . Sounds like a joke but this is what intercontinental jeddah is like!! Swimming pool is gigantic well built for their pigeons to drink water. No heating system.

The building is in general old and the health club is separate from the building of the hotel and it needs many additions first time to open the swimming pool and a time limit for the majority of people because there is a cafe and restaurant by the pool and this exploitation of space and deprive the guests of their time in the pool especially as the town is hot at night II There is no towel In the club this is essential I mean the dried out ironing clothes to be forced to hang on the balcony, we go back to the hotel, the view is fantastic on the Corniche, the reception is fantastic and fast and the lobby is large and the fragrance of the fragrance used in the lobby is fantastic and suitable for everyone.

While I didn't stay at the hotel, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and beautiful atmosphere, and I would love to stay there sometime in the future. We ate at the Tea Room. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. The view from where we sat was amazing. You can see the world's tallest fountain from the sitting area. I had a great authentic club sandwich which I will go back for. Also it is very close to the Corniche. We stayed at the hotel for four hours and had a great time.

Good service and we loved fardus Restaurant food and the staff the way they serve us specially Mr.kairul gentlemen was outstanding , me and out kids like very much the environment as well.

Booked through booking for a lower price I went to the reception room I pay said a higher price!

Service is great as you'd expect in Intercontinental hotels, however the building and the rooms are old. For some weird reason, the toilet showers are not installed in that hotel... a bit inconvenient
