Fantastic hotel! Absolutely luxurious! Gorgeous fresh flower displays in the lobby. Feather pillows, oversized fluffy towels, great shower. Can't fault this hotel.

A great hotel and the service in the hotel and especially the Executive lounge was first class...Thrukker (was awesome, helpful and super friendly) and made my wife and my stay super nice. A really great intercontinental in a great location ...

Very nice place and very nice rooms! The business lounge from 21st floor is amazing.

It is an elegant hotel that combines the classic with the modern. It is a landmark in Bucharest, located in a very good area, and the view from the upper floors, especially towards Unirii Square and TNB, was magnificent. The rooms and bathroom are clean, furnished classically but tastefully. Large and very comfortable bed. The clean bathroom, they cleaned the room daily. The reception was prompt and impeccable. It was a wonderful stay.

I was not here, but the Intercontinental is a reference building in Bucharest, located at km 0 of the capital. It is in the vicinity of the National Theater, the University and the Coltea ensemble.

My favorite place to stay in Bucharest so far.

Great location near old town and the rail station. The rooms are upscale and comfortable. The balcony provides a great view of the city and a nice place to relax when the weather is cooperative.

There are usually some interesting people to chat with down in the hotel bar. The bar itself is well stocked with a variety of liquors and beers.

I'll gladly stay here again if given the opportunity.

Equipment and condition could tolerate a general overhaul especially against the background of the 5 stars.

If it were not for the conferences organized in the premises, I would not have crossed the skyscraper threshold in Bucharest.

The catering is decent although the Bourguignon beef has broken my teeth.

Maybe on the 21st floor things are more honorable.

Expensive and low quality. Breakfast is ok. Fitness has very small pool. Rooms are big but too old (as well as old fashioned). Wifi is average. Location is very good.

Nice, elegant hotel, situated in the center of Bucharest.

Lovely helpful staff, a warm welcome at reception, good prices. Nice touches like a small upgrade for the room and a welcome drink. A choice of pillows.
Didn't try the breakfast, which at around eur 20 felt expensive for Bucharest. And a tiny negative - maintenance weren't in a hurry when called to fix an issue in our room.
Still, overall, it was a stellar stay. Highly recommended.

A very central hotel is conveniently accessible anywhere on foot for all kinds of areas where worth seeing and simply walking by foot The hotel itself is most likely the service is not always pleasant It depends on who falls in the reception it is unclear whether it is because of our country of origin or in general the personality of the service providers I have Feeling it is a bit involved .

Great staff, very nice. Close to everything, very good location. Room was very quiet, yet a little bit old-fashioned, not so new. But over all the hotel is very good, with balcony and an option to choose a room for smokers. The view from the pool is beautiful! Very high class hotel.

It's not really about the place but about the people..and these guys would do anything to make you feel most welcome

Greau brunch, one of the greatest meals you can experience. It doesn't impress with its outside appereance except its size, but the interior is glamourous and clean.

Its just one of the most iconic buildings in Bucharest. Not truly a 5 star hotel as one would imagine and the only hotel not part of the Inter Continental chain. Of course there's a story to it and it was built during the Ceausescu regime as a token of "freedom" in the Eastern world. A little used and difficult to maintain it still offers the best views of Bucharest which, you can admire even from the 22nd floor swimming pool and terrace.

One of the best hotels in Bucharest. They give a welcome drink from the bar as free. The room is spacious and modern enough. They think of your comfort and offer different types of pillows. The location is perfect for walking to many places.

GREAT SERVICE, EXCELLENT STUFF, CLEAN AND PLEASANT ROOMS

Rooms are classic , with the most important a comfortable bed and a many choices of pillows but they lost a star because the pool and the exterior of the hotel , pool really small and the exterior of the hotel looks not as I expected .

Very nice hotel. The staff is very nice and professional. Everyone here speaks English well. The rooms were super clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a nice pool so bring your swimsuit. The breakfast is something you are not going to want to miss. The orange juice is the best I have had in Europe. There are eggs and waffles available to order and the fruit is very fresh.

Haven't seen any rooms but the lobby and conf rooms are stil really old and with a comunist era feel
