Good clean and well appointed room with comfortable bed. Friendly and professional staff. Good bar and cocktails. Fantastic central location within walking distance of Rundle Mall and Adelaide Oval just over the toot footbridge. Public transport on doorstep if you can't be bothered walking.

Well maintained hotel in a great location. Staff service was exemplary. Rooms are quite dated in their design though, and there were a number of comforts that feel just a little bit short: bottle of wine we were given as a gift from the hotel was worse than most cask wine, and having to ask for turn down service as a top tier ambassador was unexpected. Generally speaking though, an excellent hotel.

I was waken up at 5:20am by the sound of the water running in the pipes just behind the bed's head as my neighbour was taking his shower. It's the first time I get such poor noise insulation in this type of hotel. The bottom of the pool was full of sand/dust and the iron was ridiculously old making the ironing of my business shirt a real pain.

Used to come to Adelaide back in the day for the Grand Prix. Suprised years later back for work and the boss books me into a hotel that reminded me if the good old days. Back when it was the Hyatt . It was almost like a time warp. But so good to see an old friend again. Rooms are still great. The gym brought back memories of me cartwheeling off the walking machine first try back got back on this time I stuck. The staff were great. The food was awesome. They really know what a blue steak is here. Drinks at the bar and Adelaide wines. Wish I could comeback more often. Now based in the USA I rarely have time for Australia anymore but it was so good to be back.

Nice location, big rooms, nice food " I've tried the beef burger in the room service and it was best burger I ever had, if you like the Asian food try the Nasi Goreng ,,,, it's better than the one I had in Thailand " and the most important thing is the bed was very big and comfortable. Briefly I liked this place and I will stay there again when I go to adelad

Disappointed to have got to the IHG Spire Elite level for living in what seems half my working life in their hotels and don't get offered any upgrade in this hotel. Rooms are very dated, no USB charging points in the room, let alone next to the bed. No complimentary bottles of water or nespresso machine. Seems like it caters for the older generation. Will be giving very serious consideration to the holiday inn across the road next time I'm in town.

The location is great, the staff were very friendly. The hotel is very well presented. My room was very nice, the bed was very good. Everything was spotless. The bathroom in my room was perfectly clean and very spacious, the fitout was a little dated, lots of travertine stone. I would be pleased to stay again.

Came here to meet friends who were staying there for breakfast. Breakfast was absurdly expensive $37 per person for some toast, artificial/powered scrambled eggs, fruit, and small pastries. The waitress came at the start and said that we could order poached eggs or an omelette, however we never saw her again. No one came to our table at all and staff were aloof. Very disappointed and left hungry. Recommend you save your money as it is not worth it.

Terrible food at the bar. Can even taste the hostility from the chef in the $25 club sandwich. Rock hard dry bread, none of the ingredients were fresh, missing avocado as per menu, chips were staled while the menu says crisp chips. Only giving stars for the nice river view in the room.

The staff always go above and beyond to cater for your every needs. A special mention to the Conference and Events Coordinator Christina and her team who are possibly the most exceptional professionals I ve met. They constantly go above and beyond to assist in any matter. I cant praise them enough!

Went to a business function. First time I had visited the intercontinental. Was immediately impressed with the building, was quite spectacular inside. Conference room was well set out and felt professional. Staff were also lovely and happy to help with all requests

My go to hotel in Adelaide. 5 star service with great staff. However, don't expect room service after midnight, or the Atrium bar to be open when hoards of people are in the lobby. As such, I'd recommend travelers to stay at alternate locations when visiting until their offering improves. Poor performance IC Adelaide.

I've stayed in various hotels in Adlelaide and this hotel are one of the better ones. However, the rooms need an upgrade after all these years. Otherwise, I would have given them 5 stars Some of the rooms has great views. The service is excellent. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the shopping area. Just across the street, there are many great eateries with Adelaide train station is just next door. The tram rides are complimentaryfor travels within the city. So go for this hotel if your visiting Adelaide.

Nice hotel with Lovley staff. Decor is dated - hotel has the features of a 5* hotel from the 70s/80s I.e Red marble bathrooms, but no water saving toilets, desk with a great view but no USB charging ports, large TV but poor quality (both tv and remote). Great location close to Parliament House, SAHMRI & Convention Centre. Easy to find some great places to eat, room service menu is astronomical... $60 for breakfast is actually ridiculous. The cheapest option is an omelette, but with coffee and room service is still $32. Lower stars due to no milk in the fridge and the room still having rubbish left in it.

Mr O has experienced a really nice stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Adelaide. The staff were friendly, the location was excellent, the views were nice, and the gym was great. Mr O would highly recommend staying at this hotel during your next trip to the 'City of Churches'. Thank you for such a pleasant experience Intercontinental Hotel Adelaide.
