They put an accident fault on my no claims certificate which was dealt with privately with out them having to pay out anything so it was no concern of there's anymore but low and behold they only went and added it to my certificate which has affected my insurance! Yet I have no live claim against me and they have checked that, xs direct have confirmed that to them and still they refused to help! The customer service is awful! They don't want to help you when you are having a problem but when you call up to take a policy out they seem to care then, I will post my review on every forum till you rectify your mistake!

Ummar took his time to understand what my issue was and gave the best alternative approaches. He asked me to give him some time and as promised, within said time called me back and sorted out my motor insurance.
Khalid Ashraf, on the other hand, too was extremely polite and professional. I had called in to verify if any documentation was required. He promptly did all the checks and gave me my response. He also coordinated with the backend systems/ billing teams to send me my confirmation of payment.

July 2017 as a new driver i chose to insure my car with insure my motor policy which is no an insurance THEY ARE BROKERS and I didn t know it back then as I was looking for an insurance online and that came up with a lower price compare to other insurance.
In August 2017 I was involved in a small accident whether someone was illegally parked on a double yellow line 5-8 meters before the traffic lights. I was driving on my lane normally with 10-15 miles an hour and the lady of the other car started driving off and as a result her car hit my back wheel but THERE WAS NOT ANY DAMAGE to my car or to her car either. We decided not to call the police or claim.
Weeks later they call me from my insurance telling me that I was involved in an accident and the third party is claiming against me.The went through an investigation with pictures from both vehicles and they couldn t find anything.
Since then they are trying to contact me in any single way in order to threat me with cancellation of my policy because I am not responding on time and I am not even any longer with them which is not making any sense to me....
They are so rude over the phone telling me that I am lying to them regarding to where I am and the third party wants to take the case to the court and if I would like to attend at court. That s being going on for 15 months so far I am so fed up.
They keep saying that the third party is claiming for money and they refuse to pay, which is fair as it was not my fault but, what do they want me to do?
THEY ARE TARGETING NEW DRIVERS IN ORDER TO SCARE THEM OFF BY MAKING UP THINGS SO THEY CAN ASK FOR EXTRA MONEY

Went through a comparison website & Insure your Motor looked best value so proceeded.
Filled in all my details including bank details then when it came to payment got a reference email saying to complete my purchase I had to ring a number & no cover had yet been issued on my car.
Got put through to a less than helpful call handler who went through all my details again (the ones I d already filled in on the comparison website) then said it was with the underwriters. I was put on hold twice, was on the phone for 25 minutes then he said I need to confirm the information on your named driver, the underwriters will take 5-7 minutes then we will look at getting you the best price.
Best price? I was already quoted so why would you need to get me another quote!? Got out on hold again, then I gave up. I ve bought insurance before and it has never been this complicated.

They didn't respect the price was given by moneysupermarket, even when personal info was exactly the same, no changes at all.
Also, it seems they are constanty checking the market to see prices from other insurers and then adjusting them accordingly, that's not right. Quote should be based on history and personal info and not in what the market suggests.

This is without a doubt the worst insurance company I have had the displeasure of dealing with in 20+ years driving.
1. Impossible to get hold of. Tried multiple times to call in and gave up after half an hour on hold
2. Failure to disclose materially important facts. For example, apparently in the event of a third party claim, you are expected to pay the excess for their repairs! This is not legally enforceable, but they try to make you believe it is.
3. Failure to accept no claims bonus, stating the previous NCB earned under previous policy was issued too long before taking out the policy with IYM. This "too long" was actually less than 3 months.
Confirmed their statement is legally wrong, complaint to ombudsmen already sent off.
4. Renewal increased by over 25%, with no explanation or reason
AVOID THIS UTTER FISTULA OF A COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE

Although l have had issues with the Mulsanne taking over 5 days to give me a quote on change of vehicle when it should have only been 24 hours, it was the fault of Mulsanne, the insurer and not these guys. I've always had excellent customer service and I must say that Oliver continues to provide excellent and reliable service! This company was the only one that would insure me given my circumstances and despite the extortionate premium from Mulsanne, I'd be happy to use them again!
