We had recently made a trip to Savanah and paid a premium price for our room with know amenities what so ever . The Inn On The Square provides everyone with a cooked to order breakfast with was absolutely delicious.

Stayed at the Inn for just one night while house hunting in Greenwood, which is a nice little city. The Inn is located in an area where there are restaurants and stores and I felt completely comfortable in the area. There were many things to like about the Inn, as others have reviewed, the people who work there are super friendly and helpful and the lobby is very beautiful. It's obviously a very special place. I enjoyed my stay for the most part, but I am only giving it 3 stars because I feel 5 stars is over rated and I'd like to be more realistic in my review.
My room cost me $123 and as nice as the lobby is, there was nothing special about my room that you wouldn't find somewhere else. I had a microwave and a fridge, the AC worked great, is not a window unit, you have a thermostat but it was very loud and even louder cycling on and off. The half glass partition in the bath sends water all over the place. Looks nice, completely useless. I was hoping for a firm bed, as I read in other reviews, but the king was soft and lumpy. The sheets and entire room were very clean, but the sheets were also very stiff, the pillows like rocks (I always bring my own pillow). In all, it was just an ordinary room.
The breakfast was another letdown. The service was great, the waiter was top-notch and when I mentioned I was a diabetic, brought out no-sugar syrup. The food was another matter. The pancakes were decent, the bacon and sausage gravy mediocre and the scrambled eggs truly awful. I have no idea what they add to eggs in hotels, maybe milk ? but I couldn't finish these. So I have no idea what anyone would rave about except that it's served to you as opposed to buffet-style. I would rather have just gone to a restaurant. If your usual idea of breakfast is a fast food line, maybe this would be good, but I thought it was poor.
If this review seems overly critical, it's maybe because for the price and the reviews I expected so much more. I would never stay here again at these prices. You don't sleep in the lobby and honestly I usually encounter nice people at most hotels. But the staff here is great.

We frequently go for breakfast and it is always delicious. I have had many dinner meetings and events and the staff has always been amazing. Wonderful place to stay if out of town and to frequent if you are local. Five stars!

If I ever have to visit Greenwood, SC again, I will be Inn on the Square! Multiple family members traveled to SC to mourn the loss of our loved one, and we were treated hospitably. We are all grateful for the wonderful experience of staying at an affordable and comfortable hotel, especially during our time of bereavement. Thank you so much Don for greeting us warmly, even providing us with a paper including our relative's obituary, when we arrived after a long trip in the early morning hours. Thank you Robert for your meticulous attention to details during meal times; in our family, we had a range of ages from two to the mid-70s and you addressed all of our dining requests with ease. Pam, you were a lovely manager with a pleasant disposition/voice; no wonder the staff works so smoothly: kind leadership is key. From our family to yours, we really appreciate your compassion. May the Lord continue to bless each of you and those that stay at the Inn on the Square. Blessings

I am changing my review because the inn gave us a free night stay and they more than satisfied us. They have a full breakfast complimentary..YumWe came for our anniversary. We live locally but wanted to splurge for a night on the town. Well it wasn't even close. Carriage House was closed so we are from the lounge. They had no food. We got burgers with no side because they ran out of food. SaoS we would get a discount but we got a bill for full price. We we're asked how we eantedthem cooked medium for one mw for the other and they we're chard. We chose this hotel because it was suppose to be a high end place. Not! Don't waste your money. Yes, it's decorated pretty but definitely nothing high end but the price. Thanks for letting me down on my anniversary. We we're going to abbAbbevibut chosr here for the food. Big mistake

I really enjoyed my stay here! The atmosphere here just exudes comfort and calm. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food was great (prime rib) and affordable. The room was what you would expect, very clean, bed comfortable, and climate controls worked as they should. I just wish I was staying a little longer to try the Sunday brunch. :)

I had the pleasure of staying at Inn on the Square for three weeks in August of 2016. The Inn is an absolutely fantastic place to stay! The rooms are clean and cozy, the breakfast is great, and the staff is second to none. If you are ever in Greenwood, this is the only place to consider staying.

Very pleased with our experience. Clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable beds and loved the breakfast options. My only complaint is the room doors shut pretty hard, so we were awoken a few times throughout the night by the people next store. Would be great if the hotel would add some sort of spring to catch the doors from slamming. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

If you're looking for and place to stay in Greenwood I highly recommend inn on the square. They are dog friendly and treat you and your pet like family. I can't say enough good about the service and my stay. This will always be my go to place for myself if needed or guests coming into town.

Their Sunday brunch was AMAZING as always. They offer a great variety of foods (breakfast, seafood, Southern lunch foods, dessert, etc.) & it's always delicious. We ate there several times before & after our wedding brunch.

This was a very nice, designer hotel. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was ok, not great. The staff there was very professional, friendly, courteous and efficient. Trust the waiter; is the man! He was very attentive and professional. Really appreciate his service.
