Must be experienced if you are looking to stay in Greenwood, SC area. Beautiful decor and layout, friendly staff.

Yolanda and all front desk staff are so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, Matt was outstanding. I definitely will be back when I visit.

I was in town as a travel nurse and needed a room when I got off at 8am. The Days Inn wanted to charge me an extra $20 even though I wasn't staying the night due to having to be back at work at 11pm. I called Inn on the Square and inquired about a room. Natasha was extremely pleasant and more than willing to work with my circumstances. The room was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely recommend. If I'm ever back in Greenwood on a travel assignment, I will stay here every time. Great hotel!!!

First of all the staff was very friendly and kind .Specially Lori at the front desk,she was wonderful and very diligent .I had a situation with my reservation and she fixed my problem in less than 2 minutes . Also they were so loving with my 2 service animals they even gave them a bag of goodies for my pups to enjoy . I definitely recommend stay here when in Greenwood. Plus if you come in holiday season you'll get to enjoy a marvelous display of Christmas decorations at the lobby . Thank you !

Dinner was fantastic. Great service. Filet mignon was amazing. Peach cobbler was too yummy.

I had our 20th High School Reunion at the Inn this past weekend. It was the first time I have ever stayed there and I had not been inside the hotel for years. I was blown away! The front desk staff were polite and courtesy. They made check in/check out easy. The french toast for breakfast was amazing. I worked with Tom to plan the event and he was so accommodating and easy to work with. The food, ballroom, set up, and staff were INCREDIBLE! I cannot say enough about them. The food was amazing. The set up was extremely professional. The waitstaff were awesome at our event. The price we paid for what we received was excellent! I honestly cannot say enough great things about this place. Everyone in attendance at the reunion were complimenting the food and set up. They knocked this out of the park for sure!

can t go wrong with a complementary breakfast that includes the best corned beef hash in South Carolina

The buffet is great and me and my family love to eat here. Also it is a great location to host an event of any size, whether you are a corporation or looking to have your wedding reception here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Even let us check in really early.

Very cozy nd nice place to stay, staff was so nice , would stay again , just not alot to do in the small town . We had a golfing tournament nearby, that's what brought us there

Place is very nice but the staff lacks personality. The bartender didn't seem to enjoy his job at all. Maybe he was having a bad day. Not sure. Either way. I won't be in a hurry to go back but I won't avoid going there either.

Super cute, clean, love the AC controls in the room, I was here for a wedding, cozy bar area, only complaint when the AC cut off the room went dead silent and no bathroom fan. I'll bring my fan next time

Wonderful food and service. The prices are reasonable for breakfast (4 items for $10 and it comes with coffee, water or juice)! Beautiful space and nice ambiance. Their Sunday brunch buffet is also amazing!

I Absolutely LOVE this place! My girlfriends come in from Charlotte so we can eat Sunday Brunch. Thank You to the server staff especially Mr. Derrick, not only a outstanding server, but a great team player as well.

Very quaint place. If it's not to crowded for dinning the experience is great.

It was just as good as a Motel 6 at 3x the price. Nothing fancy except the staff. They were appalled that I ordered a pizza to the room. They wouldn't allow the delivery driver upstairs. It's a nothing town with nothing to offer. Don't waste your money! Aww

I went to a wedding shower and it was great. The Inn on the square did a fantastic job.

Amazing breakfast included. You actually sit down pick four items and get served breakfast. Was literally one of the best included breakfasts I have had. There's a restaurant on site with great specials and live music. The building is old so rooms are not sound proof and it's located near a train but also located right downtown. Beds were a bit stiff but room was clean and new. They also allow pets but if you have allergies notify them. Normally hotels reserve some rooms that are pet free.

Great location. Beautiful property. Really enjoyed a visit to the lounge for dinner. Got stuck next to rude crazy guest's on the 3rd floor. Management was kind enough to help with that problem. Cleaning staff was pretty great.

Friendly reception with check in. The room was clean, would like to have seen a room service option. The noise from downstairs and our AC unit made it almost impossible to get any sleep.

I thought the sercice and food was great. Not to mention the romantic setting

The place to stay uptown with a beautifully decorated dinning room that serves great food. Easy access to stores within walking area.

Great local hotel & delicious breakfast! Stayed here numerous nights when my wife and I first relocated to Greenwood.

We stayed at several different places and had positive experiences at most, but definitely we would recommend the Inn on the Square over all the others.

Service is always great, rooms are clean and up to date & the breakfast is delicious! Most mornings Trust was our server and he was always pleasant and professional. Seriously, he s on top of things!

When my recruits & player s families come to town, I m definitely going to recommend this hotel.

I tried to talk to the on duty general manager named Clair, but she avoided me my entire stay , not to mention I saw her drunk in the bar but didn t feel it was the right time to approach her
The front desk was very professional and apologetic but it should ve been the general manager who was apologizing

Additionally , the restaurant menu is too expensive for the area

I think the manager is in the wrong position and needs to retrained her duties

We used the Inn on the Square for our wedding reception, and the venue is beautiful and very reasonably priced. The food was fine, and the staff was friendly. Really the only downside was working with the event coordinator. He was forgetful, hard to get a hold of, and gave away the bridal suite twice for other guests to stay in. Overall and aside from the event coordinator, we had a wonderful experience, and our reception was great.

Very Nice place for date night! Wednesday they host Oyster night. My husband really enjoys them. They also have a wonderful saxophonist playing! It s a wonderful atmosphere! I do think they could benefit from hiring a really good chef. The menu items aren t very good, and lack flavor. They re in a perfect area with very nice decor and atmosphere the food just needs work.

In Greenwood, around Easter, for a sad family event. Tried to book at another place, no room. Learned about INN ON THE SQUARE. So THRILLED that the other hotel was busy!! Inn on the Square in Greenwood, SC, is absolutely the BEST hotel experience in our 70 years! NOT a chain--has unique, historical, elegant "character.
In 50 years of marriage, we have stayed in many hotels. This was an AWESOME, PEACEFUL experience. Supremely polite and efficient staff. Gorgeous lobby--check out the pipe sculpture created by one of the owners. Well-appointed, spacious rooms. First-rate delicious restaurant, fantastic chef. Cute shops, yummy restaurants, and a pretty park conveniently in the square across the street. Very affordable---about same price as the chain. Would Never choose another hotel when in SC. (Close to Augusta Masters' Tournament, also.) Cannot say enough good about it. Dying to return! <3 <3

This is a beautiful property! I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived for checkin. It had a very personal, homey feel about it. It was very nicely decorated, clean, and quiet. I recommend this hotel!

Room was ok. Ate in restaurant. The special that night was lamb with roasted potatoes. I did not want lamb, but wanted the roasted potatoes with my pork chop. The waiter told me, " the chef does not like to make substitutions, you know how chefs are." Actually, I am an Army Officer. I know how Army Officers are, I do not know how chefs are. I do know that I will not return to their restaurant.

MUST VISIT! This place is 1 of a kind! The perfection to detail is immaculate. I really enjoyed every bit of my stay. The staff will constantly go out of their way to assist you & make you feel so welcomed. The rooms are just beautiful & the view of uptown is quite perfection. Breakfast is always great. What other hotel as you walk in each day would ask how your day went? When in Greenwood, I'll always come back here! Thanks to the wonderful team for making sure everything and everyone was perfect! Can't wait to see you again, soon!

Cozy area with a great open lobby featuring gorgeous greenery. Room was nice too

I had my wedding party booked here. They gave me a suite to stay in. It was wonderful. The rooms are great, the beds are comfortable, it's a cool, happening pay off town. Great decor. Great all around. I recommend it if you need to stay in Greenwood. Especially if you have a wedding in Greenwood.
