I do not know where the ice server is. When I go to the front, I get a map inside the facility and it is said that it is here, but there are no shadows or shapes when I go there. It's an angry place, but if you put it in perspective, it's three points.

And they don t put your review up so no one can see what a horrible place this is , oh and not to mention I was trying to just ask if they can move us to a cleaner room and the dude was so rude and not welcoming at all. The sad part is that I stayed here 2 yrs ago and had a wonderful experience and unfortunately this time was very disappointing

Bathroom fan didn't work. Bathroom window rusted open more than a inch. No screens. Found the wall plug behind the bed AS AN OPEN SOCKET. Bedding up against it. FIRE HAZARD. No response from management regarding our concerns.

Great location, nice facilities... Has gotten rather expensive, though...

Clean .and employee's are very helpful with any needs you may have

Front desk exterior was exactly what the picture was and so were the interior of the rooms. I was a little skeptical at first as the outside reminded of those truck stop motels, where people go to party and trash the rooms, HOWEVER, I can honestly say that was NOT the case at all. It was very quiet and the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. I ended up having a very comfortable stay and would stay again if I were ever there again.

Overall wonderful place! Beautiful! Would be 5 Stars if not for some front desk attitude.

The grounds are lovely and well kept, staff friendly and eager to help. The room on first glance was nice.

After settling in, however, it became apparent there were problems. The refrigerator was noisy as if on the verge of going out, the bathroom sink leaked at the pipe underneath, and the entry light wouldn't turn on. Blanket not available in room, had to be requested. The hair dryer was sticky and dirty. No microwave in room.

In the morning, staff coming on duty conversed loudly as they went past the rooms. This roused us from sleep before we were ready (about 8am) lasting about 15 minutes for both mornings of our stay.

The TV and Wifi worked great. The room was not that comfortable and we would not likely stay there again.

Pool, hot tub, outdoor games, and plenty of lounging space featuring hammocks, swinging chairs, and tables -- all within walking distance right outside your room! One great place for some R&R! Rooms were cozy too!

Not a high end kinda place. But a very nice place to stay

Beds are comfortable, bathroom s big depending on what room you get. The building in the back with the big parking lot in front has the 1 bed but it has a side room that has a full on living room (in total 2 TVs) and one of the couches turns into a bed. From what I also heard, the rooms with 2 beds have smaller bathrooms and a smaller room space. It has hanging chairs/hammocks in the grass/garden by the pool and that was beautiful. Breakfast was also good and fulfilling

This place is awesome! Their continental breakfast is actually a delicious meal. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Work requires me to stay in a bunch of hotels in california but on a budget. This is the first budget friendly hotel I have found that I actually felt safe in. I wish I would have found this place earlier. I intend to stay here as often as possible.

Very clean and quint, breakfast room very clean and well equipped for fix your own. Rooms very clean and well maintained .older facilities needs some updating . I would recommend staying here.

Convenient, reasonably priced and easy to access most of the North Bay Area. Stay in a comfortable hotel and spend the day hiking around Marin. My wife and I had a great time

Super cute! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. They were also very welcoming to our dog. The pool was nice, the breakfast was good, and the garden area was lovely. We would definitely stay again when we're in the area.

Very clean and comfortable. A little Hwy noise from passing cars but we turned on the AC and fell asleep quickly. I would stay again.

The inn has a restaurant right by it that is very good.

I love staying here when I visit my son in Novato. It's not the Ritz but it is clean and charming and the food at Rickey's is good. It's nice to have a bar onsite and to take some wine out to the inner garden and sit under the giant oak tree and watch the birds in the late afternoon. Great location on 101 with easy 30 min. drive into SFO or up to wine country.

We had a great time fundraising for SJMS. I love the owners and their professionalism. The facility looked fabulous and ran very smoothly.

Friendly staff, very quaint. The toilets are kind of small in the units themselves.

Comfortable beds, shower water pressure was non-existent, pool was dirty and was not cleaned after being brought to the attention of the front desk and the staff claiming it would be done. Weather was hot and sunny and was disappointing to not be able to enjoy the pool.

1st time staying there and was very impressive with the room.

Great each day I feel good. Accomdation allows one to feel tranquil and your staff make you feel the same.

Reserved a garden view room to be put next to the freeway in a room with no refrigerator or coffee maker (no garden view) and then moved to the very back to a room with no remote (again no garden view). Expected to be refunded amount for non-garden view room and instead was charged extra. Have been trying to get in touch with the manager for reconciliation of charges for over 6 days with no response. finally had to call Choice hotel customer service line to get any kind of help. Absolutely ludicrous. Jeremy at the desk is wonderful, the only shinning light of the stay. Stayed there last year and it was wonderful, management is horrible now, too bad because its a cute place if they could get their act together.

A bit cozy, but right off the 101 so you'll hear the noise. Rickey's Restaurant nearby is an eating option if you have the cash to spare.

We had a relaxing weekend getaway in one of the suites. Huge tub in the room, giant jenga and corn hole in the courtyard, and very helpful staff.

My room at this one story motel was mostly quiet, located on the back side of the building farthest from Hwy 101. A car alarm woke me 3 times around 2am the first night. The room itself was clean with a hard floor. The mattress on the king sized bed was a bit lumpy. The room had a frig and coffee maker. A microwave for guest use is available in the laundry and vending area. It was convenient to park right in front of the room. Although a bit shabby and dated, the owners have made efforts to keep up to date.

Besides the heater not working properly, and the doors just swinging open at night if you don t put the little lock thingy on, the bed was excellent. Water was hot, and love parking close to the room.

I experienced a lot of frustration during my short visit. Management never responded to my concerned feedback.
- housekeepers NOT wearing masks - going in and out of rooms and walking around the property
- dirty hotel room bathroom and public restroom
- 1.5 hour late check-in because the room wasn't ready
- 1 hour delay to light our fire pit after having to ask several times

The best part about the Inn Marin is the beautiful courtyard with hammocks and fire pits.

Well thank you for the opportunity to share, the reason I went there is expensive cell phone was stolen and the last place it was recorded going was your hotel. The place is nice, perhaps keep the dogs a little more in check but you run a well maintained and inclusive operation. Hats off for maintaining such a mix without the feeling of a class based society. Our brothers and sisters all deserve somewhere to stay, so thank you.

We truly loved the coziness of this place. The room was clean well insulated. The staff is friendly. The amenities we're good. And the little shopping center around the corner was nice to have available. Saffrons restaurant was good eats. There's a gym, flowers and a dollar store too. Definitely will be on my list of favorites.

It's not placed in the most amazing location but it is nice. The staff is very sweet and the rooms are nice. We stayed In the jacuzzi suite. It's worth every penny. The breakfast is enough to fuel you till lunch but nothing to rave about. I would stay here again for sure!!

We rented their hall for our wedding reception on a Friday. We really liked it. I did have a small issue with Fernando he stated my contract had ended at 930pm for my party but it was until 11pm. He was getting upset the party was still going after the hr he stated. Jody event coordinator was very helpful through the whole process. Would recommend having an event here. Also, we rented the room with jacuzzi, nice and spacious. A must after a long day.

A delightful place that hosted our Terra Linda High School 40th Reunion.

Beautiful place and nice people...only suggestions would be better landscaping maintenance and more breakfast choices...we will be back for sure!

A very pleasant stay. Outide a little older but inside doing alright. Quiet room, niced sized. Smallish bathroom yet efficient. Lovely grounds and the pool looked it would be nice in season. The pool lift chair was interesting. Check-in was quick. Continental breakfast was okay. Waffles, cereals, toast, bagels, donuts and tasty coffee.

Completely unsanitary conditions. Toilet wasn t flushed, hair on linens, mold, sticky floors, sticky soda covered doors. When asked to cancel reservations after three attempts at getting a clean room. I was told by the gm-through the poor lady at the front counter, because he s a coward and won t speak directly to guests- that I would be charged for one night! I don t want a free stay, I don t want a discount, I just don t want to stay in this dilapidated motel masquerading as a four star Inn. Absolutely disgusted with every aspect of this hotel. Don t let the pictures fool you!

This is a little gem of a place if you dont want to stay directly in San Francisco. The courtyard is beautiful with lots of plants and vines growing along the roof edge. Breakfast was decent. Mostly your typical hotel breakfast. Rooms were clean and large. Bed was very comfortable. Location is great for driving into the city. Just be aware that you will end up paying for the golden gate bridge toll if you want to go into town.

The room looked visually very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I liked how the room looked although it smelled like the previous people smoked in the room. The walls are very thin too. I wouldn't recommend walking out of the property at night.

I would rate this cute, cozy, CLEAN-in-every-way inn with 5-stars but, c'mon! It's not like we paid out the yin-yang for our single- overnight stay. The pool and spa area was open past it's listed 10 pm close! My 2 grade school age boys had the time of their lives in the super-tiny exercise room and making their own waffles at the breakfast buffet.

Our two bed room was clean, roomy, and had a newly remodeled, large shower. There was a complimentary-to-use 10-inch tablet, and a relatively small (as far as room-size and distance from prone position at headboard) LG-screen tv. Also complimentary was bottled water, Keurig-type coffee, and granola-type snacks for kids.

Front desk and housekeeping staff were TOP-NOTCH. They answered and addresses any all all normal concerns for our 4-person family.

Would highly recommend this professionally trained lodging to anyone. Business, caxation, or otherwise.'

Service is horrible, staff are not nice and they changed us more than what we agreed on. Breakfast is a complete joke. Other than that, the place is nice, clean, and maintained pretty well. All rooms are on the first floor and there is no second one which is nice.

Great place, quiet and pretty. Nice sized King room, very comfy! Basic complimentary breakfast, nothing special.

Great place to stay handy location for all the area has to offer
But the down side is the traffic if you plan on going somewhere at peek hour then be prepared to sit in crazy traffic morning or evening depending on which way tour heading

We stayed here for a local event and we were very disappointed. We had a reservation for 2 nights and for some reason they thought we were checking out after one night. Around noon they packed up all our stuff in our hotel room (putting my clothes into my partner's suitcase, my toothbrush into his toiletry bag, watch and other belongings into other bags making things hard to find), and told us they would be moving us to a different room. They didn't even wait until later in the day or ask us to remove the items ourselves. Not sure why they wouldn't put new guests in another room? Turns out they figured something else out and kept us in our same room, but by then all our things were already packed up. I have never heard of this, very strange but we didn't make a big deal about it. When we arrived back at the hotel our keys didn't work so I went to the front desk and they fixed they keys, and I confirmed we were still in that room and all they did was nod their head yes, didn't speak or apologize for the mix up. Very strange. Besides that, breakfast was meh, hard boiled eggs looked gross, very basic bagels and muffins. Outside area was not kept very clean. Below average hotel and with the experience we had with them touching all our stuff and packing it up and not apologizing gives them 1 star.

Staff was friendly. The restaurant had good food and a great atmosphere, albeit a bit too pricey. The room felt clean. The yard and flora was pretty.

We have been coming here for years as our little getaway hideaway - it s changed we got our room - keys were not ready - the blinds were broken and dirty the shower head was leaking all night - the toilet paper holder was broken and the lamp shades dirty and crooked - it was just OK disappointing and will not be returning - front desk nice breakfast included was OK -

Beautiful hotel! Even though it is near the freeway, you didn t hear anything in the room. The place is peaceful and had nice hammocks and places to relax and unwind. Great for pups. Though the pillows were a little thin and the bathroom was a littl small, it was overall a great stay.

Great little hotel, lots of charm. Rooms are small but feel more comfortable than the traditional chain hotels. The courtyard is beautiful and feels like it's from a less busy time. I've stayed here 3 times and will return.

Clean, New, friendly & rel quiet given location. Had a room in the back, little to no noise from the highway though walls are thin and it can be noisy depending on your neighbors, but no problem with ear plugs. Solid breakfast buffet. All in great value as I got a special deal on hotel tonight.

Such an adorable little hotel. The building is older but the shower was updated which is great. The garden area is beautiful and definitely the selling feature!

I was only here attending a professional conference. Restaurant is closed for renovation at the moment, but the lobby has free hot cocoa, which was nice.

The room nice and clean. The bed sand pillows were not really comfortable. Poor choice of breakfast. Close to Mexican restaurant, if you want to grab some beer or late dinner.

Nicely renovated. The grounds, pool and spa are welcoming after a nice day of kayaking on Tomales Bay.

Quaint motor in with a historic feel. Reminds me of motels from the 50s movies. Don't be fooled the interior is modern and nicely appointed. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included.

I was very happy with my stay on January 1/2. I would have given 4 stars, but the price was more than usual for a Choice hotel.

Had a fabulous brunch for Mother's Day, activities for the kids, was even supervised.

Rooms are updated, clean and quaint. I like the layout of the rooms, you have parking directly in front of your room also. Great option if you are in the area.

This hotel is a scam and Fernando is the manager.

I made a reservation here and cancelled 3 days* before we were scheduled to stay (*Front desk mentioned you can cancel up to 24 hours before check-in to be refunded).
The front desk didn't submit my cancellation and marked it as a "no show".

The manager (Fernando) is "responsible for dealing with cancellations" so I followed up my call with a email confirming that I cancelled the room. I have been calling and emailing management (Fernando) for nearly 2 weeks now to be refunded. He is never "available" to talk on the phone, and opens - yet does not respond to - emails.

Bed was super comfy. Loved the atmosphere. Pool and hot tub we're a little dirty. Food and drinks were very pricey and bland

This is a hidden gem in the Marin County area... I wish I traveled out this way more often to stay here. And if James is at the frontdesk when you check in you won't find better service.

The place is nice but no way thaaaat nice. My room stink to cigar. There is no good cable tv, they got two controls for simple local cable.
