It's a quaint coffee shop right off the freeway. The coffee at this shop is great and tastes incredible. The staff is helpful and kind, too, so please ignore everyone who says they're rude. This is just the style of customer service that you begin to expect from good coffee places. They aren't bad, unkind, horrible, or any other negative word. They are focused on making the best coffee they can, and that's how I like my coffee.
Great little coffee shop nestled in Sawyer, MI. The coffee and espresso were both delicious.
The ice mocha rocks. Barista is super nice, WIFI is fast (20-25 Mbps, which for a small town is great), atmosphere is nice and quiet with loft-like decor.
Traveling to Chicago and looking for something different as a stop for coffee. Not far off of 94 and definitely worth it! Great foamy latte, friendly staff, relaxing environment!
Really good coffee. Driving on I-94 and came across this gem. Worth a side trip
Nice, clean place. Baristas were very friendly.
Prices are pretty high. Pours are smaller than what I'm used to.
Coffee was ok...not good enough for a place that specializes in it....
I agree on the weird setting: I was in line behind some lady....only she was not on line....We got squared away pretty quick, but there were 4 of us in there. This setting sure must be a pain of it's any busier.
Not as expected. Bought a bag of light roasted coffee, fresh but tastes no good. Pour over in the cafe is not professional where brewing time was not even aimed to be controlled. Latte is good though.
Nice quiet, relaxing, and excellent customer service and of course COFFEE! YUM
Baristas are friendly and super helpful. The coffee is extremely good. Like, you dont even need any creamer in my opinion because the coffee tastes great without it. The chi lattes are the best I've ever had...even better than the trendy Detroit coffee shops I've visited. Its smells AMAZING in the shop since they roast behind a window so you can watch the beans turn dark. Also, you definitely want to visit Nick, one of the baristas that has been there 5 years, because he genuinely cares about having your experience be a good one when you come in. He is the greatest people person you will ever meet and explains everything from coffee to tea simple but extravagant at the same time so you know what you are about to order. I'm a regular but treated like I'm a valued customer every time! Highly recommend!
This is a great place to get coffee. They have crafted their coffees excellently and have very pleased customers. The pastries served are from Bit of Swiss and they oftentimes have something from Greenbush down the street as well. Local art is on display and they always keep the bathrooms and the shop spotlessly clean. My only personal hang up is a short supply of different options for light roast. The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe they offer is quite good, and when they have the Harrar or Sidamo the light roast is even better! They do a lot of dark roasts, so know that in advance. I personally love light to medium roasts, which is not where they tend to camp out.
The baristas are always friendly and the owners (Rich and Stacey) are some of the kindest folks you'll ever meet.
Needed coffee for the family reunion, this was the closest that opened early enough. Every coffee conniessuer here raved about how good the coffee was, made me give them the address, and this is now the official coffee of any of our events here.
Recently remodeled, this eclectic coffee shop serves up great coffee, along with a little of Sawyer s iconic weirdness. Nice, friendly staff does a great job, into their craft. The backlot location offers a view of an intriguing mural.
Absolutely terrific coffee, great vibe, and kind folks! Loved the cardamom latte--house made cardamom syrup, not something you see very often. A+
Great people, great coffee. Jason, the omnipresent patron, loaned me a French press while I was working a couple of months at DC Cook.
Excellent small town coffee shop and roaster. They roast all of their own coffee on-site! They work with small farmers so no need to feel guilty about your brews. Local pastries are available too. Best coffee in the area. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
Tip: they make a great chai tea latte, and they also do catering!
Curbside only. Really good coffee. 4/5 because they messed up my order. It was still pure deliciousness though.
Love this place. Always stop here when I'm in the area. Great coffee, friendly people, and cute place.
Great little joint! Highly recommend the cinnamon roll!!
I have to say, the service was so outstanding that I actually said, "you guys have like one bad review online and that person is a moron." The prices are better than fair (ESPECIALLY considering the mission of the business) and the staff was beyond friendly. I said, "I want cold coffee, I've never had anything here." And the gal who rang me up described the cold brew on nitro (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) while another employee poured me a little taster w/o even asking. I said I'd like a little room for soymilk (since I'm lactose intolerant and saw soy on the menu) and she offered that I could have almond milk as well. In summation: I got a croissant the size of my face, a large cold brew on nitro w/a special milk, gave a $2 tip and STILL came in under $9. What more do you want?! Oh, also the place was cozy and lots of polite young families and bicyclists were chilling outside. LOVELY.
The quintessential small-town local coffee shop. Wonderful people work here and the quality of their coffee is astounding. Don't think about it, just go!
Perfect halfway stop on my drive between Chicago and Grand Rapids. Friendly baristas who remember my cortado drink choice even though I only stop by 4-6 times per month. They have a very pleasant cafe to relax and unwind. Also they do roasting in house, which fills the air with the most intoxicating smells of toasted arabica beans.
We like this place. We stop if we're ever in Sawyer or going by Sawyer. Everything we've had is good.
Got a dark roast about a month back (Italian or Verona?) and really enjoyed it. Stopped in again today for another dark roast (Mexican Altura) and it was even better - one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had! Servers were personable, too. So I bought a sweet coffee mug to commemorate.
We ordered a black coffee, cappuccino, and a cookie. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Coffee beans for purchase had all been roasted within a few days.
Great ambiance and coffee - extremely friendly staff!! Stopped here to see a client - very accommodating :)
Great coffee and friendly service you can order online then pick it up curbside, or wait in line at their little stand just outside the shop. We ordered a latte, mocha and a cheese danish, all delicious! Thanks!
I would say - the best coffee in America! :) (well, around Michigan and Illinois at least)
Great coffee, delicious pastries, and good prices, plus it's not far from the highway. What more can you ask for?
Only good coffee in the area! Their iced mocha is pretty awesome.
Find this little coffee treasure and you will be pleased.
Comfortable seating, but not much. Wasn't too busy which was nice, and had nice background music. Didn't try the coffee, but the crossaints are good.
We just stopped in - 2pm on a Saturday, so you don t know what to expect. First time. But I knew they roasted their own beans, so I was hopeful. Turned out, they had the dark roast Brazil and the Ethiopian on tap and we got one of each. Literally amazing...both of them. They re both of the quality that each sip tastes like a treat. Sugar-free, and it s a dessert in your mouth. Definitely a new favorite.
Best coffee shop in Harbor Country! And they are expanding and getting better every year I return to the area. Has a fun viewing area in back to watch them bake and make their coffees.
Don't bother... I couldn't tell that mine had soy in it. My husband and I concurred that it really lacked flavor. Wished we would have just stopped at Biggby Coffee instead.
Delicious, small-batch roaster tucked away in Sawyer. They make the BEST SF Caramel Latte! The big chains never make a sugar-free drink that I enjoy. Infusco's latte is sweet without being cloying. Whenever we are in town, we always go home with a bag of their coffee for our french press. The staff is always welcoming and happy to talk coffee with you! They also have great pastries to go with your cup of joe:)
Great Mocha! Chill vibes, relaxing, friendly Batista's!
Small and calming coffee shop. Good service. We ordered the hot chi tea and it was delicious. We enjoyed the cozy environment while working on our wedding plans. They serve the coffee in these big round coffee cups.
This is the one coffee house I ve been to in SW Michigan that s consistently exceptional. The staff is friendly and personable, the coffee is to die for, and the atmosphere in the shop is phenomenal. If you re swinging through sawyer, stop and get the best coffee you ll ever have.
Small solid coffeeshop in small solid town. A half dozen two tops, long U-shaped bar, and a couple of coffee tables with benches and easy chairs facing them. Instrumental something-or-other on the audio. Free wifi with no password. Several outlets. Concrete floor. Plain walls with a mural and a few plants. Small selection of pastries (very sparse on Sunday afternoon). Some yogurt and drinks in a freezer case. Chai is Oregon Swill. Moderate selection of decent quality loose leaf teas, though not a chai.
Quick service, tasty drinks. Price wasn't that bad. If I pass through Sawyer again, I will definitely be back!
Very well-roasted coffee. Some of the most flavorful single-origin beans I've found in the area. My favorite is the Ethiopian.
Love this coffee shop and damn good coffee. I specifically love the Sumatra blend. Good prices, good coffee, good people.
Great coffee, fabulous cinnamon tea, nice snacks. Even tasted the nitro cold brew... delicious! Stopped as we drove up highway 94. Definitely worth the stop. We're planning to stop here again as we drive back to Chicago on Monday.
Amazing coffee and tea, the pastries are delicious, all of the staff are super nice, absolutely a wonderful place to sit! My favorite coffee shop ever!
This place is totally awesome and makes epic drinks! The owners are very iind people who work very hard for people to have the best experience! I would definitely come again!
Great staff and really good coffee! You can watch the roasting process and buy some burlap bags at the same time. Nice setup for plugging in and working.
My wife loves that she can get a decaf mocha with almond milk from here. Great tasting coffee and a nice place to sit and visit in the morning.
A nitro cold brew and Bit of Swiss pastry- a Sunday morning staple I'd be lost without! Great staff too. Especially the excitable ginger.
This is a nice little place to sit down and enjoy some coffee (or tea, or cocoa, or a number of other cool beverages). The hot coffee is great for most of the year, and when the weather gets too hot for me to drink hot coffee I switch to the smooth and refreshing cold brew. The environment is relaxing and the staff is friendly and helpful.
after a power outage these folks got us hooked up with 94 oz of pure Java goodness! They were very sweet and prompt I really appreciated it on a stressful morning.)
Great coffee shop. Outstanding dark roast, and the added kicker was a fabulous cheese Danish to go with it. So glad they were open early!
Great local coffee shop. Excellent coffee and service.
We make a trip from Arkansas to Michigan a couple of times a year. Infuseco is one of our "absolute stops". It's coffee we talk about in-between visits. We are excited to know now that they ship!
Really good coffe served in a nice setting by great people. Be sure to stop in if you are in the area.
The coffee was good. The entrance was blocked by five or six people. There was an outdoor patio table and chairs right in front of the doors. It was a bit like a Starbucks wanna be. Overall, it was fair.
Excellent coffees, the staff greeted us and treated us very professionally. Great atmosphere and easy parking location. Will be returning there soon
Great local coffee shop. Delicious pour over and good cappuccino. A relaxed atmosphere that is comfortable. Great place to work or catch up with friends.
I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the music selection. My Americano and cookie were both delicious and soothing. The only thing that was a downside was that they didn't have a microwave but I was offered hot water or coffee to top my drink off to make it warm again before leaving. I will gladly return for a longer stay next time.
Great coffee just wish they had more options when is comes to pastries. loved it when they had the chocolate croissants
Great coffee roasted and brewed on location, friendly Baristas. Pure Michigan.
The owners roast their own coffee beans in operation in back of coffee house ! How cool and my husband loves choices as I m a tea drinker so usually get something else . They set up a great curbside operation and prob would still bring drinks outside if call and prepay if asked as we only do curbside or delivery pickup . Amazing muffins and almond scones . ( it s across street from sawyer garden center and next to iga set back ) don t miss it !
Great coffee, great place to have a conversation. Comfy, quiet, convenient.
Coffee is excellent, service is personal. Great find right off the highway.
Had a truly delicious iced latte made with their IN5 espresso roast. The friendly and informative barista shared brewing hints and provided a sample of beans to try with my new home machine.
