An attempt on a rainy day to kill two hours and we were out in one hour dragging our feet.

Of Note, if you're a foreign national you NEED a passport to go on the tours. You won't see it anywhere on their site but after a 3 hour drive it sucked to find out over there.
My reason for this trip, I loved every minute of it, we'll be back soon.
Very informative place. Interesting and great for children
Fun museum lots to see, just didn't get to see the alligators
Good place for kids, some things for adults also. Priced kind of high and other movies or 3D you have to pay extra.
Come on, it's SCIENCE STUFF! VR rides, a tour of the engine testing facility, awesome interactive displays, 3d movies... Worth the drive to check it out. Perfect for kids or adults or anyone in between.
FASCINATING! You have to see it to believe it. Another small gem hidden inside Mississippi.
Loved all the interesting things here and the chance to go to NASA Stennis.
Party of 6, with 4 kids between 5 and 19. Good time had by all but not a ton of main exhibit pieces. However what they do have is quite interactive and educational. Staff are all friendly and knowledgable. Prices are generally reasonable but the add-ons can add up quickly. Of the add-ons, I'd suggest passing on the nature tram ride. It's relaxing and has an interesting pre-recorded audio, but ultimately its 45 minutes of driving through a cart path and looking at trees. The bus trip to NASA test facilities was really interesting for the older ones. Overall if you do all of the add ons, its a full day trip. If you stick to the main exhibits its a couple hours max.
It's a small museum but it's packed with a lot of stuff to keep you informed and interested. We spent 4 hours there and still need more time.
Very interesting, interactive display of NASA history. Too bad they are closing due to lack of visitors because of Covid19.
It's an educational museum for kids. There are some fun activities, but it won't last you very long. The NASA tours were a highlight
Drove an hour and a half on a field trip for our 5th and 6th grade science club. Due to rain we couldn't sit at the pavilion and eat lunch. The cafe was completely empty as well as the museum except for our kids. Our kids WERE NOT ALLOWED to sit at the empty tables and eat. They had to eat on THE FLOOR! This is absolutely NO WAY TO TREAT CHILDREN. If I could give it ZERO stars I would.
I was disappointed for this location. I love all things NASA and this was a let down for the cost. This really is a STEM area for elementary aged children and nothing else. A couple of displays for adults, which takes about 20 min to see.
You can park overnight even though the sign says no overnight parking.
We took a 5 year old boy and it was underwhelming. There are two tour tracks but they each start at the same time so you have to make a decision which one to do. We chose the bus tour and stood in line for a half hour not knowing if we'd get on the bus tour which seemed ridiculous since there is a finite number of seats. The people in line in front of us were placeholders for their family members. As the start time approached, their family members joined them and we were pushed further back in line and didn't get on the tour so that was 30 minutes wasted that we could have done other things in an interactive museum.
After we couldn't get on the bus tour, we went on the Possum Walk Trail tour and road on a tram of sorts through the woods while we listened to the tour guide tell us about what types of trees and animals were in the woods along with a bit of history of the land. This was a waste of time on a science outing and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone in the Mississippi heat.
The exhibits were very basic and sparse throughout the two levels. The gift store and cafe took up a lot of space on the main level.
It was very frustrating that a science center couldn't figure out a basic system of assigning 56 seats to people on a first come, first serve basis so you didn't have to wait in line for thirty minutes. Especially for those of us who waited and didn't get on. Why not have people receive a numbered ticket for the bus and then tell them to report to the loading area fifteen minutes prior to the start time? No waiting necessary for that and you could get your ticket when you pay so that would alleviate the need for a second line.
The price of admission, for what we received, was high.
We did watch the "movie" in the blow up planetarium and found out information about the international space center that we didn't know. That was cool. The 5-year old enjoyed laying on his back on the bean bags and watching it in the "sky."
If you enjoy learning about space and how NASA builds and tests our engines their is no better place to visit. The test stands are a sight to see as well as the Apollo 19 Saturn V.
Very informative and interesting, attending the bus tour is a must! It takes you out around the facility for free.
Came here on a family trip. Staff was friendly and the place was clean and had so much to see and learn, as well as do. Didn t eat at the food court but seems to have good food.
Awesome worth the admission price and time to tour facility.
Infinity science center next to the Mississippi welcome center area, they have the lunar lander on exhibit and have some really cool memorabilia and cool facts about NASA and the Apollo missions lunar exploration.
The Infinity Science Center is a "must have" that you have to look at necessarily. The orig.Shuttle is out on the square and is very impressive. Unconditionally you should sign up for the terrain tour. To do this, the pass must be taken Approval gets you the approval for the Rundfahrt.Ein highlight are the original spacesuits from the first moon landing.Very highly recommended
Not very big but some great educational opportunities
Small but a fair amount of interesting history in the facility. Should take off a star since there are no Deep Space 9 relics, but +1 for the girl up front with a pretty smile, so it's a wash.
A good educational place for young children. Not as much for adults that have been to Huntsville and Canaveral.
Just did the walking tour - kinda cool but wish I would have taken the bus tour now.
Parking is free and the air conditioning is very cold inside. Food is fresh and hot. Exhibits are first class with well cared for displays of space exploration memorabilia. There is a small theater that shows short movies and presentations of NASA.
it was... nice? a place to visit if you're with children
Coming to Infinity this past weekend was nice. We planned it coming this year since the weather was nice cool and sunny. We're glad that it didn't rain. As we approach the entrance it was kind of empty and there wasn't much people yet. And as the day wind up it was still the same parking lot as we arrived. Not much on a Saturday. But don't get me wrong, maybe it's still too early in the year for people really come here in numbers. As far as the Science center goes, it was interesting to say the least of what NASA had accomplished over the years. It was really nice to see stuff from the past, present and today. It would have been nice if the Tram was running. That's what we wanted to see. We were told it's seasonal, so I'm not sure if that will run in the spring or summer. But nonetheless it was what we wanted to see and do. We kinda expected too much of this place. It is a bit small and most of the things you have to pay for. For instance, the Hurricane module where you stand and feel hurricane force winds. Most places they have these it's FREE! Don't expect a whole lot from the cafeteria. Other than that it was a nice day to visit.
It was nice stop on a trip if not time constrained.
An awesome quick visit and the 3d movie for the extra 4 dollars is worth it. We learned some thing about the future of space travel that we didn't expect to and the exhibits are really cool
Great place for a school field trip. I liked the interactive models and games.
My kids and I enjoyed the Infinity Center. Hopefully next time we'll make the tour bus.
Great fun for the kids, NASA tour is fun for the geeks in the family!
This is an interesting museum and historical place for the early stages of the space shuttle and the rocket testing area a bit pricey but well worth seeing
Great bus tour of the test stands and lots of great stuff inside for the up and coming astronauts!
Very interactive. Truly fun for all ages. Brings science to life in a fun way. Did not purchase the film pass, there are lots of 3d films to enjoy. One of our party members is deaf and there are no subtitles or accommodations for the deaf so we skipped the movies pass package.
Don't expect a bus tour because they stopped it. Save your money and go to Cape Caneveral instead.
The facility is nice. The bus tour is about 30 min.
Not worth the price
Not much to see
Don't waste your time and money
Educational, fun, and very cool place to take your kids.
We plan to go back for a full day. We only visited the gift shop which was great. There are a lot of items that kids can learn from.
There were a few cool photo ops and interesting information. However the amount of activities/exhibitions compared to the cost didn t match most museums I ve visited. Go if you re a space enthusiast but skip if you re neutral on the topic.
This place was a great tour with the kids. We spent the whole day there and had a blast.
Well worth a stop if you are on I 10 and have little kiddos.
Great place for young and old alike. Great mix of history and present day.
Fantastic and a must-see! We had a great time. The wave station and meteorological interactive displays were the favorites. This has a great blend of fun for all ages, and the outdoor board walk was really nice.
Outstanding! Great exhibits and interactive displays. Bus tour of Stennis was informative. Trolley tour gave a good history of the local area. Amazingly, even the food at the cafe was very good. Will definitely visit again.
Great exploration into the science behind space. Small place, but fun
NASA history plenty to see beautiful place to visit plenty of parking and they have a gift shop and deli inside the new space center right of the highway next to the Mississippi rest area if in a motorhome or semi park in rest area and walk over worth the visit freindly employees family atmosphere "Space the final frontier" enjoy I did
RIGHT off the I-10, they have a nice museum, and a shuttle tour of where they test the Saturn 5 rockets. You're not going to see anything like this elsewhere! There is also a nice nature walk out front, as well as an actual Saturn 5 1st stage that was made for an Apollo mission, but never used. Worth the stop and $10 fee.
Very disappointing experience or, rather, we didn't get to experience the museum at all, because we weren't let in! What a horrible customer service! Me and my partner heard a lot about this place and wanted to visit for a long time. More
As other reviewers have said, the facility is small but the hands-on exhibits are informative and engaging. I had with me children from 6 years to 18 years, and they all found activities to keep them occupied. We also went on the driving tour of the test sites. It was interesting for those in the party who are interested in the space program & understood what the tour guide driver was saying, but was boring for the younger ones who didn't understand or care.
