Indiana Insurance Group/Liberty Mutual Review

This company is borderline criminal.....they keep sending me a bill for $1000.00 for insurance that was a) cancelled and paid up to the cancellation date b) sending this $1000.00 bill apparently based on an audit that they've done (and redone, to suit their needs I suppose) where none of their numbers from the two different audits match one another, nor the bill they keep sending me c) they haven't shown a credit from the last bill I paid - when I cancelled d) and when I called a lady in billing (a month ago) she realized they had not cancelled one of my policies on the correct date. This company sucks - and very expensive! Try Farm Bureau - I went from paying $7K for my biz insurance to $6K with a phone call to FB. One star because I can't go zero on the stars......

My insurance Company for 38 years was Liberty Mutual. I had to drop them when I started my Driver Education Academy, because Liberty Mutual WILL NOT insure driver education cars. So, 15 years later, I retired and decided to try Liberty again. I just got off the phone with them, and although our credit scores are over 800, we drive less than 6000 miles a year, we are collage graduates, and I served in Vietnam, and we did NOT include their "umbrella" add-on, and we included our brick home, THERE RATES QUOTED TO ME WERE UNBELIEVABLY HIGH!! More than DOUBLE what we pay now. I suggest you DON'T WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME GETTING A QUOTE FROM LIBERTY.

After 20 years with them as my provider. Rates for home only went to over $2,000 per year. Never filed one claim and then all of the sudden they would not cover anything to do with my roof. With no warnings at all, called to make a claim and was then informed coverage for roof had been canceled. Explanation from them was none. Never use these crooks! New policy with new company insured 2 homes and 2 cars. New premium was less than Liberty for just a house that now had no roof coverage. After all the years with them I was left with the roof cost to come out of pocket. Wow thanks Liberty for......

They lie and made a sister company to make the value of your car worth50 to 30% less that it's value. And I thought falsifying documents in a insurance claim is punishable by the law 3 to 5 years, but Indiana state insurance wants to defend them ,but be paid for by us tax payers

Josh, the representative, was so helpful to me in in making a decision about my auto and home insurance. They were a little more money per year but doubled my insurance and now everything I own is insured. I feel so much better knowing that I am covered on everything I own. Josh was very knowledgeable about the company and freely answered every question I had about coverage. I would definitely recommend liberty mutual to friends and family. I would leave no stars they claim i was behind on payments but it wasn t. Brought to my knowledge that i was behind . I had a lot of payment due date changes but i still made my payments within a months span. You guys spend more money on commercials than actually helping people who need lee way when it comes to trying to have affordable coverage

Liberty mutual is a great insurance provider. Super friendly staff and quick claims handling.

If you want to talk to someone and you don't have a name all you get is the recording after 4 phone calls to various offices never got an answer I will be finding a new company after my policy lapses
