We were here for mother's day lunch. We sat at the tables downstairs in the cider room. Food was really good, though unfortunately with how busy they were it was almost room temperature by the time it got to us (only reason I dropped a star). Very loud and fun environment down there, great if you like that sort of thing, but if you want a quieter experience go for the upstairs area which is much calmer. Our server was great despite how many people she was serving at once, very impressive.

We didn't get to experience much of the outdoors area due to it being quite rainy but I definitely hope to return here in the future and check it out. Well worth the trip!

Also, the ciders are top notch, don't miss then!

We go once in awhile to do PICK YOUR OWN, especially in September and October to pick your own Apples. This is an EXCELLENT PLACE TO bring your little ones and have a Day of fun. Would recommend this area highly.

This is a beautiful farm snd orchard shop with inside cafe and gift shop, but often crowded with wait lines for the bathroom and cafe on weekends and during events.

Cider donuts are great there if you don't mind the wait.

Santa breakfast experienced for the kids was great, but the actual breakfast buffet was okey. Food was cold, no real eggs. The "fresh" muffins were hard and cold. So, I recommend you bring cereal if you are taking kids to see santa.

There's one thing synonymous with fall, cider donuts! The fresh made cider and donuts may have you standing in a bit of a long line, but it's well worth the wait. Better yet, the brewery is now in full swing and they seem to have a very nice biergarten setup with small eats and live music. Well worth a day trip.

The team at Indian Ladder Farms are wonderful. Its a great group of people. The cafe is delicious, the pub is a great place to relax, and you can't walk through the market without wanting to buy something.

A great variety of apples to pick that changes on a weekly basis. With helpful and knowledge staff. They autumn harvest selection is also ample. Most of all they have the best apple cider and apple cider doughnuts in the area,in a wonderful store that has fresh and preserved local NY products.

This is such a gem right in our backyard. The setting is beautiful. The donuts are well known, but they have so many other wonderful pastries and food. The gift shop has many unique items. We went for lunch recently in the new Biergarten outside. Again, we had great food, with wonderful beer and cider. We enjoyed a view of the Helderbergs in autumn and listened to great live music. Indian Ladder Farms is plain and simple a wonderful destination.

A must visit in the capital region. I recommend stopping for some hot apple cider and doughnuts in the fall. Between Apple picking, pumpkin picking, cider making, hay rides, and a petting zoo it offers a lot to do. After a visit you can continue up the mountain to Indian Ladder park for a spectacular view.

Hands-down one of the worst experiences I ve ever had at a restaurant. Don t bother coming here on the weekends, it is an absolute zoo and the kitchen is too small to service this many people. We saw our waitress twice in the 1.5 hrs we were there. The live music was extremely loud and the band was really bad. After the band was finished, they played weird Jamaican music over the speakers which didn t fit the mood and was played at max volume. The cheese board included a handful of nuts, half an apple 6 crackers and a couple slices of cheese all for $17. It was extremely insulting. My friends said their food was good but damn was the experience horrible

A great place to take a young family. A wonderful place for seasonal day trips. Awesome view of the Helderburg escarpment. Every season has it's perks. See baby animals in spring, berries in summer and or course apples in the fall.

Pick your own apples, fresh made apple cider, piping hot cider donuts, they are an amazing farm! It has become an annual tradition for our family. We drive up from New Jersey just for this, and Indian Ladder always delivers. Adding the brewery just makes it that much better.

Great place to visit. Staff very friendly ( as it was wall to wall people.) Parking though was an issue, with only one person in parking lot directing traffic on where to park, very unorganized. I would go again but not on a Saturday afternoon. All in all parking (lack there of) was the biggest issue for me.

Stopped there for lunch today. The special was Mac & Cheese. Sign said $8.00, charged $12.00. Why? "It was $8.00 this morning but they changed it." Moral of the story - get your Mac & Cheese early. Might be $20.00 by late in the day. It was good but there wasn't much of it.

Before you even arrive at the farm, you will notice how beautiful the drive is. I really love their cider donuts, my favorite of all times. They have many different types of apples including ones I ve never seen at other farms. It s always a great time at ILF and it s a great place to spend time with your family.

Meh. Was disappointed with my experience here - the place was a zoo and horribly disorganized. They should seriously consider hiring someone to do an audit of the grounds and ensure there are signs and clear instructions throughout. Just makes for an annoying experience. I will say that the apple fritters were delicious, but I wouldn t come back just for those I d recommend going elsewhere to pick apples.

Went there for the capital district Renaissance fair. Fair was great. Dan was nice. The cafe's chicken tenders were dried out but everything else was fine, especially the Apple cider doughnuts!

Indian Ladder Farms offers great views of the Helderburg Escarpment and Thatcher Park from below. Visitors can pick apples from the orchard (in designated areas), or purchase them as well as pumpkins and gourds. They also offer apples, cider, and cider donuts as well as other food. There's a bar/restaurant on premise. For families, they have a selection of animals, a play area, and nature trail. They sometimes offer hay rides and special events such as baby animals.
