The place has rude doctors, when a pregent lady is having pain might be miscarry the baby doctor goes on vaction. The others docs. Are rude. And make her cry. This place needs to be shut down. Or fire everyone, and hire new doctors and nurses. Thats kinder and has a heart. Shame on the ones who work there.
One of the better native healthcare facilities in town. Once you establish a chart for yourself or your child, it is easy to get an appointment within a week or two. Doctors, staff and on-site pharmacy are all awesome people who don't make you wait very long.
They won't see you unless you are pregnant in any clinic area. The lady at the desk told me if I made a chart then I could be a walk in and after I made the chart she said since I haven't been seen before I have to wait at least 6 months to be seen and go put myself on the waiting list in the back for an appointment. I walked back to do it and they told me I couldn't even be seen unless I was expecting a child. Thanks for wasting my time.
I have had nothing but positive experiences. They have helped me start getting healthy. I am losing weight, exercising, eating right -- and being held accountable. Emergency appointments are hard to get sometimes but that can happen anywhere. I am very satisfied.
Things have gotten ridiculous with Covid "precautions". A person can't get in and be seen for a scheduled check up without feeling like a scrutinized animal for pruchase. Lord forbid you need to be seen for symptoms that maybe related to covid symptoms. Don't rely on this place, the dental and vision is also a lie.
Overall I have always had a great experience here. The majority of the staff is helpful. I do recommend this center to others.

I used to consider this one of the best Indian care facilities in the state, but something changed after the first of this year, & they have really dropped off on caring for immediate / urgent patients.
I have been in 4 times this year, & EVERY time the walk-in Dr is out (now they only have one, but is rarely here). The last visit I got here @ 8:00a - I wasn t seen until 12. One lady @ the front desk is extremely helpful & compassionate about what you re going through & tries to help - the others are extremely rude & seem to enjoy preventing walk-ins from getting care.
If you have an appointment or a child, I have t seen any change; still decent service. If you are a walk-in, don t rely on getting treatment here - make the drive to Claremore, less you wish to wait hours & be made to feel like your issues aren t as important as others...

They are way nicer than the hospital in Claremore, but there is a five month wait. That is extreme and unfair to pregnant woman.
Unless you are an obese pregnant woman, they are not interested in helping in a timely manner. Waited for two hours only to be told they had called my name at some time before. Most of the doctors and nurses are great though, once you are allowed to see them.
I was able to set an appointment for my daughter and see a doctor next day. Dr. Silas is amazing!

They are always fast and friendly. I see my PCP, the eye dr and the dentist. As a diabetic patient they take good care of me !!

Had an app schedule since January for new pt it was for sep. They called me , THEY CALLED ME and told me they couldn't see me cause the new doc was going some where else. They couldn't place me with Anyone else. I was looking forward to it and they couldn't do anything about it. Rude and not reliable people work there not recommended. Would rather drive an hr away to go somewhere else.
I get here at before the doors open at 6:45am. I scheduled this early of an appt to avoid missing work. We were we in a room going through the motions with the nurse (temp checks, head measurement, weight etc). My daughter, who has allergies coughed and they kicked us outside and told us to go to the back of the walk-in line to be seen through the isolation doors. They state they don't have the rooms available in isolation side. Well how about since I scheduled an appt you take my NAME rather than make me take a NUMBER and put me at the front of the line since I got here before everyone else!? That would be nice. But now, since covid, it's OK to treat your patients like peasants. Now that covid is here, everyone is just a number.
Oh, and before I even scheduled the appt, I had asked for a virtual meeting instead they said they couldn't do it. I get here today and now all of a sudden they offer me a tele-meeting through zoom. Had we done that in the first place, I wouldn't have even gone through this mess.
If you can afford better healthcare, find another place. This place treats you like a number and they don't honor their appointments yet they want to ban you if you miss yours.

2013. Needed mental assistance. The soonest appointment with a psychiatrist was 3 months after request. 2015. Needed a physical after unusual things going on. Referred me to a gynaecologist without giving me any information or numbers. Appointment was inevitably missed. Good thing it was bebign. 2020. Need dental assistance. They're not accepting adult clients right now. Three appointments. All failed to assist. Everytime I was required to fill out a new form because it was over a year between appointments. Pathetic.
I called more than 5 times the morning I started experiencing symptoms and the phone line was disconnected. I drive to just see if they even accept walk-in appointments and thankfully they do (which made my 30 minute drive worth it). This absolutely infuriates me, not because of my inconvenience, but because some people do not have the car, family/friends, or bus transportation money to just drive down to the clinic to secure an appointment. You provide these amazing resources, but don t have a working phone to assist us in accessing them?!?! Please fix your phone.

So far it was great until referred to behavioral health. 3 ladies at the check-in office couldn't possibly help me. 6 mins until scheduling nurse clocks in and other lady said she was soon busy she would forget me, the 3rd lady just sat there. Will see what transpires next.
I have had great experiences taking my son here and absolutely love it. It is by far better than the Utica Park Clinic we had been using.
Great office all around. Dr.Gilmore is really caring and takes her time to answer all of my questions and/or address any concerns I may have.
It's a good clinic, but how many times a year is this flipping place closed??? I always check Google before I drive out to see if they're open, yet at LEAST 3 times I have they have ended up being "closed for the day" by the time I got there. Why would a clinic be closed on July 1st??? What holiday is that!?

I m not from the area. But I am here for school. The behavior health part is just as rude as can be. I ve been yelled at by the ladies who answer the phones. I suffer from massive anxiety and depression and they have just made me feel even more uncomfortable. I don t feel like I can t reach out to them without some sort of backlash.
I love this clinic. They are very strict with the times for your scheduled apt and you can not have more than 3 no-shows or they will put you on probation. The staff are very nice. The best thing about this clinic is all the departments. You can literally get everything done in one place, from Cherokee WIC, to eyes, to counseling, to a doctor apt and still get your prescriptions.
Jo was very helpful in the pharmacy department, she helped me immensely. She is a wonderful lady and I appreciate her spending the time and helping me with all the questions as a young woman. Very thankful for her.
Website says opened at 8 my appointment was at 7:45 and I got here at 8 and they said they gave my appointment away so now I will be here all day waiting to be see.
Every time I'm on the phone with these people they are just so rude. I want the corporate number or somehow of getting ahold of the big bosses.
I was laid off after two decades and lost healthcare when I began going here. The PA I see, Heidi Dawson, is amazing!! She really listens and is very knowledgeable--even more so than most of the doctors I've been under the care of with private insurance. Same for my two kids and their care here. I feel like they are getting better care here than they were at the well-revered pediatrician's and dental groups they have gone to since birth. The facilities are newly- remodeled and are a top-notch. Native Americans in Tulsa are very fortunate to have this facility available to them. So thankful for them.
This place is pathetic. Absolutely the worst "health care" faculty I've ever visited. If your not pregnant or diabetic, then you can fu8k yourself right down the road (if you are, maybe they'll help you, I've seen no evidence either way). They only have walk in doctors on Monday and Tuesday, so try to plan your emergency medical needs accordingly. They are helpful enough to suggest a real medical facility 30 miles away.... Thanks jerks.
One of the worst run institutions I've ever experienced! I was scheduled an appointment with a student physician and they didnt listen to one thing I had to say. Can't believe the professionalism of this place. From experience, I know there are great people that work here, but this place is garbage.

Behavior health dept receptionist needs to be fired reassigned to a different department.. My son had a serious issue and the receptionist was extremely rude and never returned my phone call ..Called 2 more times and she just returned my call 2 days later .. Being extremely rude and hateful .. Even hung up on me ...

They do my mammograms, an ultrasound, bloodwork and immunizations onsite.
The pharmacy staff are very sweet and so convenient.
I highly recommend IHRC to anyone who is native American.
I am Choctaw and the 45 minute drive is much easier.

If you can get an appointment then you will be ok. But if you are a walk in be prepared to wait 4-5 hours if you even get seen. I sat there for 4 and half hours while everyone walked in. I cleared the waiting room 3-4 times. An hour and half was just getting my file from claremore Emergency room where all they did for me there was give me a brace for my knee.
The health and wellness program is a joke as well. I was hoping this would be a great option for me because it s so close but I don t know how half of the people even keep their job because there is no sympathy or empathy at all and they are just rude.
This place is full of disrespectful people. I would not recommend you go here at all. They are known for cancelling your appointments for their personal needs, but if you call to reschedule they will hold it against you. DO NOT GO HERE.............................
Dr Silas in pediatrics is an amazing doctor. She s so kind and really listens! Her nurse is also wonderful! Pediatrics is the only service I have experience with but i give it a 10/10!
Called 4 time the SECOND THEY OPENED. No agents are ever available over the phone. I went in and no one can ever see you the same day. Just go to the Claremore hospital and save yourself the trouble

You know I use to think this was the best place ever but after how they are doing my daughter, this place will let you die before they will help you if you are late on coming to an appnt. My daughter was 10 minutes and 15 minutes late to two appnts and was not seen on getting her thyroid medicine, the soonest they could get her in was a month later. Claude a doctor there said when she started her thyroid medicine this year that she was lucky her organs had not shut down. She has been out of her synthroide 200 micrograms for over three weeks and told today that they had no walk in drs so they could do nothing for her. They have known she has not had her medicine for three weeks that she is feeling awful that she won't be seen till the 23rd of this month but cannot give her medicine till she can be seen. So if her organs shut down because she was late a mother of four the youngest 9 months old, Tonya the head administrator who would not give me her last name, says its my daughters fault because she was late, so if she dies it was her fault because she was late. They have had no doctor in the last three weeks who can authorize her life threatening medicine for three weeks. Isn't that amazing. Peoria Indian Clinic is the most uncareing worst place you can put your life or your loved ones life in with this Tonya woman running it who won't give her last name.

I Love this place, they are quicker than Claremore has ever been for me, they are a lot closer to my town, They take very good care of me, being a type 2 diabetic they have helped me keep my blood sugar level at mostly under 120, last year my Doctor found i had an irregular heart beat was told to go straight to the ER, I was told i was a newly diag A-Fib doctor's at the hospital & my doctor at this clinic made sure I understood what A-Fib is & how it is treated, I was put on a couple extra med's but it's worth my life just to take a couple extra pill's, So I am very grateful for this clinic being close to home & for the great Doctor's & Staff.
The staff have all been very helpful. They listen, provide detailed information, and are empathetic during these times of difficulty. I had an especially good phone call with one of their schedulers. She was kind, patient, and very helpful! Thank you so much for your service!!
