Worst customer service. I was about to pay for a party space, but the guy I was working with went on vacation without saying anything. Then woman who took over cant seem to function unless you send her an email. She couldn't even answer simple questions unless over the phone.

Don't waste your time with this place.

We put four of our grand kids in the summer camp and signed up with lunch. Surprisingly last two days my grand sons one after the other throw up after taking lunch at this summer camp, clear case of food poisoning. It is strongly objectionable if the food of poor quality or spoilt food is being served. One of my grandson is still vomiting for the last 4 hours from 4 to 7 PM and become sick. Can ICC verify the quality of food being served?

Had planned an event here with the promise of them helping us promote. Not only did they NOT promote at all, but they failed to disclose a lot of things that would have been very helpful to the success of our event. They flat out lied, and when it came down to it they didn't care at all about anything other than the money. Won't be back.

The facilities here are very good. They also have improved the concessions. During a recent event, their AV system did not work well, otherwise I would give it a 5star rating. Parking can get tight during major events. Overall, it is well maintained & provides a variety of activities not just for the Indian community but for the broader community.

Nice community center in Milpitas. I came here to see the Sankranthi Sambaralu organized by BATA, Bay Area Telugu Association. It has enough parking place. Auditorium will fit for 500 people easily. If has good reception with seating area.

About India Community Center

India Community Center: A Place to Celebrate Indian Culture and Traditions

India Community Center (ICC) is a non-profit organization that was established in 2003 with the aim of providing a platform for the Indian community to come together, celebrate their culture, and preserve their traditions. The center is located in Milpitas, California, and has become a hub for people of all ages to connect with their roots and explore the rich heritage of India.

The idea behind ICC was to create a space where every generation of the Indian Diaspora could find comfort in various facets of their culture. From language classes to dance performances, from yoga sessions to cooking workshops, ICC offers something for everyone. The center also hosts cultural events throughout the year such as Diwali celebrations, Holi festivals, and Independence Day parades.

One of the unique aspects of ICC is its commitment to preserving and practicing unique traditions. For example, they offer classes on classical Indian music instruments like tabla or sitar which are not commonly taught outside India. They also have programs that teach traditional folk dances like Bhangra or Garba which are an integral part of many regional cultures in India.

ICC's mission goes beyond just catering to the needs of Indians living abroad; it also aims at creating an inclusive environment where people from other cultures can explore and experience Indian traditions and values. They organize events like Bollywood dance parties or food festivals that attract people from diverse backgrounds who want to learn more about India's vibrant culture.

Apart from cultural activities, ICC also provides social services such as counseling for seniors or legal aid for immigrants. They have programs that promote health awareness through yoga classes or nutrition workshops. Additionally, they offer career development services like resume building workshops or networking events which help young professionals connect with mentors in their respective fields.

In conclusion, India Community Center has become an essential part of the Bay Area's cultural landscape by providing a space where people can come together irrespective of age or background. With its commitment towards preserving traditions while embracing modernity through innovative programming initiatives - it truly stands out as one-of-a-kind organization dedicated solely towards promoting Indian culture abroad!
