Excellent clean place to visit. Workers are kind to patients and workers. Family friendly. Professional. Excellent resources for people with disabilities.

I have been helped by this great organization many times over the years. Phillip C. is a wonderful, compassionate advocate who has always been open and available to help me. In so grateful that Independence First is there for those is who live with a disability!

An excellent organization with lovely staff. I have participated in a few public meetings in their classrooms, which are apt for the purpose.

Great place for needed information for the disabled

The workers and volunteers were very nice and polite. Took time to show you how to work the computers before you left. It was fun and a learning experience. Very grateful to them. Great Christmas present for myself.

Good place to work for care about employee s and people they take care of through pcw workers.

They work with the consumers and their Personal Care Workers(PCW's) .

Got some great advise. Set me up with payment plans I could afford.

It's my job I love it the staff are friendly and get u all the answers to your questions most importantly they care for the people there giving devices to thumbs up

All the volunteers and workers are amazing and polite too including the front desk workers they always help when needed and agian they are super polite always say good morning amd have a good day

Independence first I think independent first is a great place to handle whatever you might need they've always work with me to the best of their ability and that means a lot to me

Professional, detailed services for our handicapped population

They discriminate against disabled people who need their services, by only providing services to people who are so severely disabled that they need to be in either a nursing home or a mental hospital, and by then it's too late, because by then you can no longer function in society without being in a hospital type setting.

I had a great experience there is a place to deitcated to helping others less fortunate

I signed up for a "refurbished PC". Was given initial guess-wait period of 6 months and enthusiasm from "Independence 1st" worker. It's now 8 mos. There is no refurbished PC and a lack of "urgency and enthusiasm" on "Independence 1st's" part. Attended groups here years back. Clean atmosphere.

Thought they would provide a caretaker. Said find your own & we will pay. No consistency. No help.
