I bought a 2003 Nissan Altima from you guys back in December 2016 for $2,500. Adam told us there was nothing wrong with it, no catalytic converter problems or anything. Literally later that day I when I picked it up, check engine light came on. Catalytic converter needed to be replaced. OH and there was also no fluids in the car. Plus more issues. Probably put about $5,000 worth of work into this damn car so far. And now I think alternator may be going. Had nothing but problems with this car. All you did was lie to mine and my father's face.

Ok, I don't usually leave reviews however I feel that I owe any potential buyers a bit of a heads up. First, I want to say that I did not purchase a vehicle from here. Second, I have nothing to gain or lose from my review. My son saved money to buy his first car and their website showed a few promising vehicles. The few that he was interested in, after seeing the cosmetic condition they were in I didn't even bother to start them up or take a test drive. They did have two Jeep's that had potential until further inspection. Jeep 1: Grand Cherokee Laredo-- When I first got into this one, the lot guy told me that it had a bad control arm that was scheduled to be repaired. The engine did sound very good and was very clean. While attempting to put the 4 wheel drive selector into neutral/4 low it would not budge from 4 high. When I mentioned this to the lot guy he said well that's because of the control arm right...so I told him, nooo that means there is something wrong with the transfer unit. So he then went and got Adam to talk to me and Adam tried telling me that it will only shift if you move the vehicle a bit. So while trying to demonstrate (by driving it in circles in the parking lot) I noticed the tail pipe moving excessively. When he stopped he assured me it shifts in all wheel and 4 wheel drive with no problem but didn't show me it would shift into neutral or 4 low, because it wouldn't. At this point he tried to make it seem as if I didn't know about 4X4 vehicles, he asked me if I ever had one and I pointed at my Ram 1500 and said well yeah. I told him I have pretty much only owned 4 wheel drive vehicles my entire life including a manual shift 4 wheel older Bronco. So Adam got out of the Jeep and I mentioned the exhaust bouncing around, he looked in the wheel well and said oh yeah, there is some rust there. I couldn't believe his response, especially because the exhaust pipe was on the other side, the rust he was seeing was the gas tank...which when I got down to look at it I couldn't believe the tank hadn't fallen out. At this point he started poking/pulling rust from the lower strut bracket and chunks of rust fell. As for Jeep #2 which was a Liberty, the inside smelled of cigarettes really bad and when my wife mentioned it to the lot guy he said, well after you run the ac for a while it goes away..... Adam said he wasn't aware of the amount of rust issue with Jeep#1.
So my over all view on this place is to be cautious if you consider buying something. The pricing of the vehicles is quite high for the condition they are in. They are selling $1000.00 to $1500.00 vehicles for $2900.00 to $8000.00. I was very disappointed as a lot of their reviews were positive. A lesson I taught my son today that he got to witness first hand is, if something seems to be too good to be true than it probably is. Just a total waste of gas and time travelling.

This is the fourth car we've bought from Adam. Every car was very clean and in top condition . I just have to tell him what type of car and a price range. He has hit a home run every time. I'm now looking for another car for my son and this is the only place I will ever buy from . Adam is like family.

No pressure when I came in to look for a car. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and not pushy. Choose two cars out to test drive which they allowed me to do without any fuss, sat down and got straight to the point on price and did a deal without a headache. I would be back when I require another car.

I have no idea how this place has such high reviews. Maybe I'm just the unlucky person who got screwed, and everyone else's purchases worked out, but with all the hidden fees, my $3800 used car wound up being $4400. I'm not even that upset about that, but the day after I drove it off the lot, I had to pay $178 for a new battery. Then, 2 weeks later, the service engine light came out. The radiator was cracked and the thermostat was bad. That was over $500. Now the light came on again, and I've got another appointment with my mechanic. I'm seriously considering trying to sell to Carvanna or something, and cutting my losses. Do not recommend this place based on my experiences.

I have purchased toyota glanza recently from this showroom and experience was really awesome. Sales executive has all the knowledge about the car and really explained everything very well. Finally i got a very good deal and overall it was a great experience.

Good people, very polite, and they do their best to help everyone. I am very pleased with my purchase and have referred several people who also have purchased cars and they have also been pleased with their purchase. I would say if you're in the market for a truck or car definitely gives these guys a chance to earn your business.

The only thing that was half way decent was the actual car. Everything else was a bad experience. And charged for documentation, which usually includes tags and registration - this is not the first car I've bought in my life - only received the title. Only after I called and asked where was it...only a wek to spare before the temp runs out. Now I will have to pay wellllll over a 100 dollars for the actual title in my name, plates and the registratiion. I paid enough for all honestly. And I would not have received my down payment back had I not wanted the car at the start.

Got ripped off bad by Adam. Had me sign some bogus warranty that did nothing for me when I bought the car. He made it seem like I was protected when I was not.

I bought a 2004 Honda Civic for 4,000.00 and it started overheating immediately after purchasing it. My recommendation to anyone buying a car there is to take it for a through ride , let it run. I believe they were aware of the cars condition. Please do not state u have no records of doing business with me like u had in another review

It's ok what can u expect from a used dealership. Bought a van, digital display of miles and gas gauge in cluster had to be sent out for repair, even though we were told it will work when it warms up. Kept having to jump the van with battery, radio no longer works. Other than that van runs beautifully.

I didn't buy a car today but I still stayed and talked to them, and they gave me advice for another 30+ mins. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. I came in and bought a truck recently and had an issue with the ac . They had me drop the vehicle off . my salesman offered to drive me home and had the vehicle done the next morning . They replaced the condenser no hesitations . The team worked together excellent and did everything they could do in a timely fashion . I would highly recommend Independence Auto Sale and staff , and will definitely be looking here next time I m in the market for a vehicle.

Update...after I posted this review Mark from independence auto sales replied to the post and asked for me to get In touch with them in reference to my car that they want to make the customer happy. I called 2/23/18 at 4:38pm and asked for Mark the man said he was Mark until I listened to his voice. I figured out it was Adam. So Adam says send me the VIN because he wasn t familiar with the sale he then says I ll get back to you . It s now 2/27 haven t heard anything. They re not trying to make things right. Shame on you for taking advantage of people. That was over $5000 you got from me. I hope you sleep well at night.
