I started working at independence association and I loved it ! I loved how they treated the clients I loved how well the managers were there for you as a staff. However with the past two years they have gone severely down how we have lost a lot of employees me being one of them as I just recently quit. It was hard to say good bye but the staff and people in the office clearly don t care about their staff which is sad because we take care of all the clients. Such a disappointment

My son attended this day program. He was kicked out three times because they weren't able to keep him safe. Apparently when he first attended the director made a huge error in judgement, that allowed our son to call his father about private duty staff in his home. She set the standard that day. He has had horrific behavior ever since and this young person, who used to enjoy day program began to bolt onto rt 196. I feel this agency is responsible for much of the anxiety and aggressive behavior that we have recently seen. Our case manager wasn't even notified that my son had been kicked out a third time, in less than a year. I believe this agency mostly caters to nonambulatory clients and the staff, especially the director at envision, lack the skills and knowledge to keep anyone safe and if you are looking for a good day program I'd look further and not waste the on this agency. My adult special needs child is 25 yo and I have seen a lot of unethical stuff over the years but this agency is the worst.
