Bbq pork chops are really good/steaks are the best in dekalb

Been driving past this place since I started commuting to NIU. I decided to stop in, as I wanted steaks. So I picked up two NY Strip Steaks, they were thicker than I normally prefer, but I decided to try it. Cooked them up on the skillet that night, and wow, those were the best steaks I have ever had in my life! So normally, I got my steaks from Walmart or Jewel Osco. I avoided thick steaks as they were not tender. Very hard, and always tough. These steaks? Mmmm. The knife went through them smoothly, and they just tasted like peace on Earth. Cooked them medium rare as well, and it was perfect. I don't think I can eat steaks from a grocery store anymore. I plan to only buy my meats from here now lol

I just stopped for lunch for something different and had a piece of the HOT meaning warm broasted chicken and it was the best I have had in years. Juicy, fresh, nice and warm. Just my two cents but, try it

Best meat place I've ever been to! The rest of the shop Is almost like a homey trader Joes.

Their fresh cut meat does not compare to anything else in town. Small or large orders, they do it all. Also, they have a great craft brew and wine selection.

If I money wasn't an issue, I would shop here exclusively. Amazing butcher shop. They also make side dishes like pasta salads etc. Try the 7 Grain salad, you won't regret it.

Great butcher shop and deli. They have the best Andouille I have ever found this side of the Mason Dixon line. Their Chorizo is also incredible. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to help. I have to drive over half an hour to get to Inboden's, but the drive is always worth it. I usually only get the Andouille and the Chorizo, but when I am there, I also pick up a few Ribeyes or Porterhouses. The steak is always good and the prices are very reasonable for the quality that you are getting. Always worth the trip for me and my Jambalaya always gets compliments. Call before you go, but Inboden's will almost certainly have the specialty food item you are looking for.

Imbodens is always pleasure to shop at. They have the best selection of meats and cheeses. Everything is always of the highest quality and it never dissapoints. You can do all the shopping you need for a gourmet meal. They have locally sourced organic produce, a wine and craft beer section that features monthly tastings. They have craft sodas and a salad bar. There is bakery and deli. Be sure to try their smoked salmon if you are so inclined. Also available are frozen meals and soups for days you want to be lazy. You can also pick up premium ingredients like saffron and vanilla bean. The staff is very friendly and accomdating. Its no wonder they have been in business for 50 years.

The place to go for meat and so much more. The staff at every counter and checkouts are always helpful & polite. Deals can be had all the time, so don't think you're going to spend more just because its a "meat shop". Many things I buy are More

I love this place. Fresh food, excellent meat, and a great place to discover new beer and wine.

Inbodens did my wedding this past June. It was an outdoor venue....and it poured rain right when inbodens needed to set everything up. Despite the rain they worked tirelessly to make sure that everything was perfect. The food was hot and delicious and all of our guests loved it! From the first time they called through the wedding day everything was clear they worked within our budget and made sure we had the food that we wanted. At any point I could shoot them an email and they'd answer back either that day or, I believe the longest I ever waited for a response was two days (weekends are super busy for them). Great catering company, great meat market, and if you haven't tried their "adult" Mac n cheese...I highly recommend it!

Our family has been shopping here for at least 3 generations. Always fun perusing the aisles! The portobello stuffed mushrooms are this seasons favorite. Their meat quality and prices are unbeatable. Our family of 5, loves the meat bundles as well. The staff is awesome and always pleasant. I'll take Inbodens over Trader Joes ANY day.
