Friendly staff the Pastor and his wife are very conciderate

I have a love hate relationship with this church. Been going here off and on for 15 years. Watched it go from a packed house at a 1 pm service and of course the 9 and 11 am were even more full. Last time I went they do not have a 1 pm and the 11 am was not full.

The Pastor Mel is a gifted and I have felt the Holy Spirit in this church and also felt a gush of wind and it leave nearly every service. It almost knocked me over when it left a few times. It was always when the pastor said things like the preaching was better than the Amens he was getting. When you boast the Holy spirit leaves.

I tried to let him know not to do this a few months ago when watching s live stream and he actually responded himself and made a smart remark about at least I am watching. Now is that something a Pastor should say? It gave me more confirmation that I need to speak to him.
Pastor Mel dont surround yourself around Yes people. I encourage you to just preach the word which you do well. It's okay to say can I get an Amen or shout in his name. There is a difference in what you're doing and also making smart remarks back.

Yes you are human as am I and we all live in the flesh at times. We have ego. It is our goal to work toward humility and trying to not live in the flesh. Only Jeshua was perfect. This may be a reflection as to why I see less and less people attending your church. Also may not. Only God knows as it is his perfect plan for all of us. HE keeps bringing me back to you and maybe he wants me to talk to you and help you. We will see. May God continue to bless you and IHP. HIS BLESSINGS.

I LOVE THE PRESENCE OF OUR LORD JESUS!!!! The Music is AWESOME!! You can't help but feel the inpowerment of the HOLY SPIRIT when we Worship and I love the kindness and love that you receive when your there ESPECIALLY at the door when you come into AND go out of church......OH I JUST LOVE BEING THERE, I wanted to make it to the Partnership Dinner etc. but I missed it due to family stuff and I had even signed up for it so they could make sure they had enough food haha. I AM SOOO SORRY FOR NOT MAKUNG IT!!! Anyway In His Presence Church Is AWESOME!!!!

This is one of the most amazing churches I have been to in my life and that's a long time and a lot of different churches from here and other states....I encourage everyone to come see In His Presence Church for them self's. There are excellent teachers and Pastors here and Jack Hayford is there covering one of the best men I have ever known.

I came to this church nearly 3 years ago after many failed attempts at connecting with other churches in the LA area. From the second I walked in the door I felt welcome and could clearly sense the presence of God. After years of serving and being involved directly with the church, my life has never been so enriched by positive, uplifting relationships, sisters and brothers praying me through and doing life with me, and a saturation of the holy spirit and phenomenal teachings and uplifting words every single time I'm in the house! There are tons of classes to help you grow into a mature Christian. As with any church, you get as much as you put into it. You also get to know as many people as you want to get to know. The Youth ministry is AMAZING - my daughter came out telling me a whole bible story, what it meant and how to apply it to life today! I was so amazed I wanted to go to Youth Ministry! These place is my second place my second family my running place, i found my two spiritual parents witch Pastor Desiree & Mel Ayres. They show me how. Become new me to be matured christian to be, its baby step for me and realize I m not really alone.

Two thumbs down!!!!! I have atteneded this church and this church is all about the money!!!Period!! I was appauled by the the pastor who instructed the church to "Pray for Money". I have studied religion of all faiths for over 5 years now. God doesn't dwell in this church. I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS CHURCH IT IS BY FAR THE WORST I HAVE EVER ATTENEDED. The pastor and his ranch he is getting rich by preaching false doctrine. This church makes me sick and I will never go back to it.

A pastor should never make over a million dollars a year, especially while laying employes off because "We are going through hard financial times and cant afford to pay you" Well than take a damn pay cut. Im sorry but i dont see God in this church just a couple people who failed at there hollywoord careers and found another way to become rich and famous.

In His Presence Church is an awesome and hip church! The word is right on point, the temperature is perfect every time, and there is a Coffee center inside the building, how great is that! Every time get paid, the first thing that comes to mind "how much more over ten percent, can I bless the house of the Lord with?". Anybody who has sowed into the house of the Lord willingly, can say the same; I am a witness of my own tithings.

Wow is all I can say, I have been attending church my whole entire life. I grew up in an East Texas town of 1200 people in which there were at least 10 different congregations and 90% of the town went to church. Every event in school or town always started with a prayer, so I am no stranger of the church. I've been to both small ,very personal ,churches as well as a few mega congregations throughout the United States and none of them has done for me what IHP has done for me. I truly felt the drenching power of the spirit of God for the first time of my entire life in this church. It has been such a spiritual blessing for me and my family that I can not begin to explain how much of a blessing it has been. I see post on here that are complaining about money this, money that, but the reality is that money is not the driving force of this church, the Holy Spirit is. Of coarse money is involved this is Los Angeles and everything cost money, every one of us spends money on things everyday from concerts to movies to who knows what else so why would it be such a hard thing to give some of that to a place that can benefit your life in such an amazing way. To me it seems like we should all be giving more of our money to lift up the house of God verses paying athletes multi-million dollar contracts to entertain us while being horrible role models for our children.Why must so many people think that church should be free that it does not cost anything to operate. There are churches out there that are closing there doors everyday due to a lack of financial means and nobody is going to change that if the people attending them do not tithe. Thank God for Pastor Mel and Desiree for their amazing gift and their desire to share it with us all, they have touched so many people and have built a beautiful house of the Lord through their awesome messages and a church full of spirit filled Christians who have experienced true blessing and freely want to give back financially for such an amazing blessing that is worth more than most of us could ever be able to repay. I am completely sober for the first time in over 20 years and I know for 100% that its only because of the high that I have found in the Holy Spirit. I did not even plan to sober up, it just happened, it was his plan for me and I know that if you want that change in life that so many are looking for, IHP can provide it for you if you give them a chance. What an amazing place I look forward to every Wed and Sunday and look forward to maturing spiritually. If you want a life changing experience, just try one service.

I attended last night for wednesday healingservice. I was the only person there. The pastor saw me and did not smile or greet me. He walked by me chewing gum over and over. A black lady said hello and introduced me to the pastor's wife who was cold and unwelcoming When i asked one of the ushers about it i was surrounded by their security and a lesbian who had prayed in tongues. The pastor's wife has had so much plastic surgery lol.. So much for her walk with jesus. A most rude and unwelcoming church. I was threatened by said lesbian that if i did not shut up i would be thrown out. I was surrounded by a 2 big males and this woman. I
walked out eventually.What happened to welcoming the sick and the poor? A pastor who is so haughty he cant bring himself to say hi to a stranger sitting inside his church.

In His Presence has welcomed our family with open arms, you can feel the love as soon as you walk in the door. They are a come as you are church, they want to share the love of Jesus and get you involved and checked in with people in the church. The worship takes you to another level. I encourage you to come and experience Gods presence in this place.
At any church the children's ministry is one of the most important factors of us choosing a home church! The children's ministry is amazing! The Generations team knows this is our next generation of warriors for Christ and they have amazing worship and teaching from God's word. My kids LOVE their youth leaders and really look up to them!

Absolutely horrific a church is supposed to feel welcoming and safe.... I don't feel safe with the amount of people not wearing masks!!! I'm trying to understand and learn about our god and his only son but don not feel safe around 30+ people with out maks

From the moment you arrive in the parking lot to the time you leave. People are greeting, encouraging and praying for you. IHP is truly a proactive church. Pastor Mel really knows how to deliver a fiath based message. Both Pastors Desire and Mel hear the voice of the Sprit of God. They will stop in the middle of worship or the word to minister to an individual or family. One night Pastors stopped and had the whole congregation pray for a lady. The next day she went for a check-up and the doctors were amazed the cancer was dying from the inside. If you want to live an active Christ filled life come and be a part of IHP.

This is the Church I went to every Sunday I could. They made me feel loved and got me through a very difficult time in my life. Pastor Mel and his wife Desiree always took the time to encourage me. There is great worship music, and teaching of the Word. I was never as excited as I was when the Holy Spirit just filled me a few minutes after walking in the door.

Not a church of perfect people, but a church of forgiven people. The pastors help you make sense of the complexities of real life issues and what the Word says about those certain issues, always careful in making interpretations led by the Holy Spirit. At this church I learned to tithe. IHP church doesn't teach prosperity gospel. There is an emphasize on tithing because it teaches us to live a life of high expectations based on faith, not wishful thinking, all for the glory of Jesus and not our selfish purposes. We just get blessed along the way. The Lord promised us in Jeremiah 29:11, '"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."' After certain brushes with hell in my young age, I've certainly found this verse true and my intimacy with God growing because of IHP. I am a dirty sinner but Jesus' grace helps me strive for excellence. A walk with Jesus is challenging but it has been far more fulfilling than my life prior without the knowledge of God. Thanks IHP for the help.

I love the music. Great preaching. Great people at the church. They are very friendly and caring.

These Pastors are nothing but money grubbing False Prosperity Preachers yes just like the ones you see on T.V. being instigated. but on a smaller scale! They cater to the 'weak' minded people that go after Fame, Stardom,Fortune(Prosperity) and the Glitz and Glam of Hollywood. You can see they are running a perfect scam..they have a Starbucks in the Church for St. Petes sake! Connect the dots!
They Ayres (Pastors) love to put on false 'Airs' as if they project perfection and Holiness, however the this couldn't be anything but the furthest thing from the truth. The stories are almost legendary that what the leaders of this Non Profit (non tax paying) entity how they are totally different people behind closed doors! The temper tantrums, the fits of rage, the railing slander and gossip of their 'help' volunteers, their constituent congregation is now stuff of Church Lore.

When I was in the hospital I got call visitor s and even was prayed for by my pastors on a wensday night love helping with the kid people are great it is my home!!!!!!!

This church is awesome!! Everyone there is very genuine and welcoming. This church also has an incredible kids ministry. In His Presence Church is ethnically diverse too, I love it !!my family have been blessed since making this church a place we call home!

I have been going to this church for over a year now and it has COMPLETELY changed my life. This is such a great church with amazing Pastors that display Gods love strongly. It has strong teachings, powerful praise and worship that will blow your mind, change your life, and inspire you to get closer to God then you ever thought was possible.

I was taken here on one occasion and after two songs and then a circus freak mime show???? Immediately after that STUNT...MONEY REQUESTS.

Then, the woman gets up and starts talking about...SHOPPING. Specifically about shopping for a dress...now paraphrasing, she was tempted to buy it but resisted the temptation, saying "get behind me Satan"....only to have that very dress appear later that day in her closet, found by her husband....and she went on to laughingly explain that SATAN told her that "it looked so good from behind."

You people who are attending this apostolic church of Satan, giving your hard earned pittance wages away to this evil had better REPENT NOW!!!!! And COME OUT OF THIS SICKNESS!!!!! You are being deceived by the DEVIL and it is so obvious and you STILL have no clue...GOD IS CRYING. And I cry too.

This place is off the chain. I go every other Sunday and livestream every other sunday due to i live in Irvine ca. There is nothing but the presence of the holy spirit there. This place is amazing wish I lived closer there is no other church like this one. I love IHP

This amazing place of worship has been such a blessing in my life. I have been attending this church for almost three years now and WOW!!! It s so AWESOME! I love Pastor Mel and Desiree, they are such beautiful people inside and out. They just love the Lord so much! The praise and worship team is GREAT! The people of the church have become family! My husband and I have been healed mentally and physically because the anointing of the Holy Spirit is so present here. My husband and I call this our home church! If you are looking for an awesome church and Godly relationships, I encourage you to attend! I know you will love it!

I love this church. I love the preaching and the worship. You definitely feel the presence of God in this place. The people there are are so welcoming and you feel loved the moment you step into this church. I thank God that He brought us here.

In short do not attend this church. I attended church here for 10 years and could not be part of this anymore. The pastors act like celebrities and are obsessed with fame. They demand that you completely submit to them and if you don't they kick you out of the church. They insist that those who remain at the church have no communication with anyone that has left and disagrees with them. Even to the point of forbidding family members to speak with each other.They do not speak the truth of the Bible. They only share what they want people to hear so they can get money. I personally sat in meetings where the pastor (Mel) said the envelopes have to have the color pink on them because he heard it makes people give more. They would not help people in need unless they showed a record of giving to the church. They keep these records and check them often before offering basic help to people like benevolence, funerals or marriage ceremonies. I saw widows, elderly homeless families, and older single women denied financial help because they did not give to the church. There is so much more to say but this alone showed give you an idea of what is going on here. There are many churches with humble pastors that will love you for you and not what you can give. I encourage you to save yourself the heartache that many have felt and go elsewhere or at least keep these things in mind if you do go.

I have been attending In His Presence Church since 2009 or possibly earlier. It is a great Church to come hear the Word of God. The Church believes in taking Communion. The Church believes in one God (God the Son Jesus Christ Lord and Savior, God the Father, and God the Holy Ghost) a Trinity believing Church. IHPC also prays in tongues and believes in the gifts. IHPC also believes in the miracles of God, signs and wonders. IHPC is a great place to come Worship God with other believers who are the Body of Christ. If you are looking for a Church in the Woodland Hills area this is a great Church to build relationships and serve. I recommend the Wednesday Service if you need a healing with prayers and laying of hands. Sunday are more traditional. IHPC also has Life Bible Study or Cell Groups. This is a great opportunity to fellowship with other believers. There is always a place in the Church you can serve at IHPC from Greeters to Gift Shop, to the Cafe. Glory to Jesus Christ our God. This is a great church that anyone can go to, its a mix of every race, very casual and live. Even if you just go pray by yourself in the church for a few minutes. Love the people and environment. I was tried a few churches in the valley, this one where i felt like home. I am not a fan of singing, so usually i get there from 11:30am-12:30pm but it helps me through out the entire week. I actually look forward to it now.

The presence of God rests in this place. I recommend this Church for anyone who needs healing of any kind; financial, emotional, marital, physical, or any other kind of healing. There is a thickness of peace that lingers long after leaving the service. I've seen tumors shrink, marriages restored, miracle pregnancies with healthy babies, terminal illnesses healed, even missing loved ones found shortly after praying for them, and I was even healed of all signs of MS in the service. Worship is annointed and amazing and Pastor Mel actually wrote many of the songs. Pastor Desiree has an amazing testimony of being a stunt woman who was blown up with second and third degree burns. God miraculously healed her and she now has an awesome, life changing healing ministry. They are very real and not pretentious at all. They talk about drug addiction, anorexia, STDs, and everything God has healed them of. The people in the church are kind and friendly. I often laugh that the church looks like a UN meeting. So many different cultures, ethnicities, and even socio economic groups are represented in the church. The children's ministry is one of the best I've seen. There are classroom dividing children by ages, and a room catered to special need children. The special needs or H.U.G.S as it is called, has play equipment designed to meet The needs of these children. This church is definitely God's church.

This is my church and I love it. God has blessed me the three years I've been there. Not every one noticed me, sometimes it feels like a status thing...but I've been to multiple churches in LA and being this close to Hollywood people struggle with that at church because they live in that world at work (the place they are more than church and home) so I give them grace because God gives it to me. Plus, I let that season of being invisible be the season God grew me in a different way where I made sure I was going to church because I love God and not to please people. His presence is strongest felt in worship and I've been blessed very much by God because I serve Him and one of the places I serve Him is at IHPC :-)

Preaching was a guest speaker or the real deal for.the church? This guy was obnoxious. Arrogant, self centered And mean... He was talking BS about finances, how He is a centerfold for a magazine for Jesus then he was stating people who are unemployed are losers...absolutely uncalled for.. Well we walked out and I will never come back.

I have been a member for over 10 years. My children were dedicated there, and I was baptized there. When the Kiosk were brought in for tithing, I was a little thrown off. But you can't deny the presence of God there. Yes, celebrities attend, I cant say what goes on behind closed doors, but I am not a celebrity and I was sat up front. So, I am not sure if that has any barring on who sits up front. In all honesty, I think its for the cameras. The services are being recorded for TV, I believe, and they want the consistency in the flow. I cant speak on the trips to Hawaii or they're own personal wealth. However, I have had no "bad feelings or thoughts" on the church. I am blessed each time I walk through the doors. Pastor Mel and Pastor Desiree are amazing teachers of the Word and I get a lot out of listening to them. They do bring up there past in the "life" and they're human feelings and actions. I feel like that is an awesome and appropriate thing to do. I want to know my teachers have been through what I have and can understand what I am feeling. I dont want to go on forever, because I can. But I love In His Presence. I feel comfortable there, I dont have to dress up or be someone I am not. I am welcomed there. They are a giving and loving church.

Beautiful Pastors with a big heart for God and people. Awesome music , they've got the Word, friendly people. God dwells in this place! I guarantee you everytime you walk in this place, you will experience the presence of God. I love this church!
