Honestly LSU Has been my dream college for years now it has great tuition and good sports programs I mean just look at some of the people that have been there like Leonard four Bette and Ben Simmons and in the near future ferrous guice I love LSU and you should too

As a college, it's fine but I graduated with a bachelor's in Biology and in hindsight it was a huge waste of time and money. Now I'm depressed and feel like no matter how much I work I'll never amount to anything. On the plus side, although I lived like a hobo and didn't allow myself to go out to local events more than a handful of times over the course of my degree, I graduated debt free.

The most beautiful landscaping ever of a top notch university in the heart of Cajun Country. LSU is a wonderful place to educate your children. A huge and amazing football stadium and home of the 2019 National Championship Football team, the LSU Tigers! Women's sports are equally dominant. You will love a walking tour of this campus.

Edit: I wrote this review years ago while I was struggling with Mechanical Engineering. It was very hard and I was frustrated at the school at times but I can not imagine going anywhere else. I apologize for writing this review initially with emotion instead of logic. I'm very happy I graduated from LSU and I hope you consider visiting if you are curious about it.

I met life long friends, ate good food, and watched some amazing football games here.

It seems like the entire campus is under construction. The golf course isnt very nice either. The lay out of the course is weird and the fairway is very rough.

If you like lots of live oak trees, sports, and jogging , this is a good place to study, work or hangout!

My second home and favorite place in Baton Rouge. It has strong academic reputation with very high research activities. It also has very fantastic campus!

Plenty of well lit parking for gymnastics meet we attended. No too long a walk from parking lot.

I had a terrific time at Tiger Stadium. Beautiful venue to watch an SEC football game. Always the gracious hosts, they allowed the Bulldogs to set the single game record for passing yards on the way to a 44-34 victory.

LSU by far is the best university in the world! The academic staff are willing to help you! LSU is very big in student population but it feels like a HOME away from home. LSU has outstanding academics, musicians, and athletes!

Beautiful campus. I had some great teachers. Ok education. They don t care about funding art programs. The studio arts building is falling apart.

Last April I came from Michigan to check out Louisiana State University Campus and it was beautiful!!! LSU campus has been the best out of all of the colleges I have visted. My tour guide was outstanding and was very friendly and answered all of the questions I had. Also my tour guide found a way to get me free icecream which was a very nice gesture and the ice cream was outstanding. Also the LSU Student Activites Center is amazing and for my week that I spent in Baton Rouge I used it every day. I also visited Tiger Stadium (Death Valley) and that was a awesome experience in which I had my picture taking next to the entrance of the stadium. I forgot to also mention that the Lake surrounding the campus is absolutely beautiful and the campus is walking and jogging friendly all over. There is always a good amount of tree cover on campus to help you cool down when it gets really hot. Also I found that LSU has really good academics as well and that they will have you meet with a counselor your first year in order to establish a plan of what you want to do after college and what states you would want to find a job in. They did not say that at all of the other colleges I visited at. Finally, I can say that visiting LSU was one of the best experiences in my life and that I can't wait untill I start college here in the Fall of 2021.

Can't wait to go there. When I'm older I'm 12 and can't wait to go because I'm in love with your football team I have my own football team called willow grove bears and were 10 and 0 so can't wait to join lsu when I'm older

This university is the most family friendly, supportive and organized school we have ever toured. Learned quickly the reason NO OTHER school had a chance of our children's admission. We have no complaints!! Recommend putting on top of list for attending.

.........This so-called "school" is abusing and torturing birds for "research", this is being done by a ugly-looking "female" named "Christine" who enjoys tormenting these birds.

What can I say but go Tigers? LSU basically costs 80-100k for a 4 year degree if you are in state without tops. They more than make up for it with mike the live tiger, the massive Stadium and the most loyal fans in the world. The campus is absolutely gorgeous and the people are from all over. With an LSU education, you get some of the best professors, classmates, and memories. Go Tigers!

LSU has both an excellent academic and sports program...especially due to Les Miles leadership of the football team.

Amazing school. Budget cut by state has put the school into lot of troubles. Otherwise it is one of the good universities to study. Lot of beautiful and scenic places within the college.

LSU is a complete and total scam. Please do not send your kids here. If you are anywhere near low-income trust me you will have a hard time. The dining halls (that they force you to get a $2,000 meal plan for if u live on campus) are never open. If you're on your own without parents they literally do not care. You are still kicked out for winter break unless you can somehow pay an obscene amount of money to stay here. The dorms are way overpriced. over $7,000 a year for half of super tiny room and a hall bathroom. All they care about is money. They will give you a ticket for pretty much anything they can. They will stretch a situation as much as possible just so they can tow your car. If you support yourself and don't have any money but need to get to work that day? Oh well walk and ride the bus and the cost will go up more the next day. The academics are comical. Everything is super dumbed down. It's a dangerous campus there have been so many armed robberies this year and very little done to improve safety. They would rather you get robbed at gunpoint than park in an empty commuter lot on the weekend when all the other spots you paid to be able to park in are full. They don't care about your success. They don't care that you are real human being with struggles. They don't care about their students well-being. They don't care about their students at all. Anyone who thinks this is a good school has obviously never seen an actual good school.

I love this university. The campus is beautiful. I love the tiger exhibit and the mascot.

A month ago, I was travelling towards New Orleans.It was my first trip to the place and even the state. I am from Texas ! On my way in Baton Rouge, I took a wrong exit and I ended up visiting this University! I was so amazed by their environment up there. Lots of trees inside the campus, and the campus buildings looked so classic, more like a Cali style . I loved their design of the rooftops. They have a small river that runs between the university and you will see a lot of people waling on its sides. I met a person there and I asked him for direction to their main library. He walked me all the way up there and told me lots about the college ! He was really kind and helpful. Their football stadium looked big and nice ! Great environment for study ! Classic ! And New Orleans is like half an hour drive from there as well ! Beautiful Campus, Beautiful People
