Teachers are unprepared and power freaks. Lsu makes you do crazy stuff to graduate, such as doing 320 hours of free work to get a kineseology degree.. and charges you $50 per year just to access lsu's career search website after 6 months after you graduate. LSU is just here to take your money and pass you through the system with no knowledge. Do yourself a favor and go to school in texas or someplace other than lsu..
School one of the best in the country with its multiple awards from both athletics and academics. Sadly those who want to join may not be accepted without hard work and dedication which is what I hope to do so with football. I came from California for a regional camp to have a tour and I was stunned.

Go LSU! The spirit here is amazing, for athletics especially, and the campus is beautiful. The educational program is exceptional, as well, from what I've been told.

I RIDE THE L.S.U. TIGERTRAILS BUS LINE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. THEIR TRANSFER POINT FOR BUSES IS AROUND THE CIRCLE BY THE MANSSHIP JOURNALIST BUILDING. THE BUS RIDES ARE FREE, AND I GET TO SEE THE L.S.U. CAMPUS.
The campus is absolutely beautiful. This was my first LSU game and I had a blast. I hope to go back again.

a lady named Lynn Livingston would do anything in her power to make you live on campus. Don't bother going to this school if you don't want to deal with campus housing and pay for many other expensive stuff.

Me and my two daughter's stayed in the dorms for the National sea search challenge.. This is a beautiful college. Had a great time and food was good. Our favorite part was getting to see Mike!! Love at first site!! Only wish I could add the pic of him we took. So cute and sweet. He had his paws out like a baby and obviously wanted his belly rubbed. Love him!!
Very little focus on academics. It's an athletics university. A degree from here is not worth much outside of Baton Rouge... which is also a toilet.

LSU is strong in a number of academic fields of study though weaker in several others. The overall numerical national ranking of the school will only pick up if it reduces the size of it's freshman class. The quality of student accepted is important in elevating the academic reputation of the school. Just look at other higher ranked public schools in the SEC such as Florida, Georgia and Texas A.M. The Administration needs to stress and market the academic quality of the school so it can obtain a more thoughtful reputation in higher ed. In some ways the athletic program reputation actually takes away from the real academic experience at LSU. Our young one loved it and now has a great job. It's all about being an LSU Tiger.
This is a fantastic campus. My daughter is currently a sophomore here studying Chemistry. The residential apartments are beautiful, modern and up-to-date. Excellent safety is exhibited all around campus. She is my only child and I feel extremely blessed to have her apart of the Tiger family

It's a beautiful campus from an outsider looking in, but the parking here is atrocious and the traffic is always terrible.
Nice location for biking, jogging, and walking.

I'm so tired of living on campus. It's an absolutely terrible experience. From the terrible food service hours, the stupidity that is the prices at the bookstore, and the blatant cash grab that the dorms are, it is easy to see the quality of life for the students is the last thing on the administration's mind. Home game days are the worst, the whole campus shuts down, becomes super crowded, and the dinning halls decide to confiscate your bags or book bags whenever you decide to go eat.
I studied 6 months in this school for an exchange and I really loved it!
The campus is very big and very pretty. The teachers took into account that my mother tongue was not English and were very understanding

Im not at lsu yet but from lokking at videos it looks great. Everything is orginized its beautiful, has great sports things, and have
new majors some universitys dont have and they have great education just from looking in videos and should be in the top 20 list for it.

I love this college so much. I am a student currently at LSU studying electrical engineering and they have a great campus.
The faculty are amazingly nice and the overall atmosphere is amazing. You truly feel like you're part of something wonderful. LSU has a great recreation center for students that hosts many exciting activities that anyone can participate in. As long as you're an enrolled student you have access to top notch services and facilities. I also love the the food choices on campus as they are diverse and healthy.
Also, the education I am getting is lovely. I enjoy all my courses I am taking and look forward to meeting new people all the time. The football season is also an amazing time to see the campus come alive and there are many events through the year that keep life flowing around campus.
Truly a great college to attend with a beautiful landscape filled with wonderful people both combine to make a wonderful set of memories and experiences.
LSU has a wonderful, beautiful campus and the professors are mostly good to excellent. Certain departments are better than others, but overall I got a VERY good education there. Contrary to popular belief, the athletic program is not everything, especially to the professors, who consider LSU an institution for research and scholarship. Don't let the admission numbers fool you - there's a law in Louisiana mandating the university to admit native sons no matter how bad their GPAs or board exams are. Needless to say, at least half of all freshmen classes are weeded out ruthlessly within a year. The academic standards are pretty high.
LSU is a joke. Money, money, money. That's what they care about. Application fees, Parking fees, football tickets, processing fees, and such much more. The school wants students to know that LSU is their home.
....well it's not a surprise because no one has a choice. In other words, they're forcing you to live on campus. Every freshman is required and forced to live on campus. After forced to live on campus, they are also required to pay for meal plan...AWESOME! EVEN MORE MONEY!( On campus costs more than living in an apartment off campus). Trying to get exempt? Don't bother. They will do their best to not let you live off campus, and will do their hardest to make you live on campus to spend more money. For low income, this is a huge problem because of all the money wasted for this school on unnecessary stuff. They literally don't care about you after you move in. Literally, the only thing cool about this university is the mascot, ambassadors, tiger, and the football team...
LSU was my dream school until they started making freshmen live on campus and forced to pay for meal plans. And to hear what current students there say about the school was really disappointing.
