Lots of really fun hands on exhibits. The downstairs is a lot cooler than the upstairs in the summertime so be mindful for young ones and the elderly.

There is an elevator if you do have a stroller or wheelchair. My family and I always have a great time when we go. Plus, the new dinosaur area is tons of fun for all ages.

A fantastic stop with the kids. Lots of hands on stuff, something for everyone. They also have a quieter area for kids 4 and under for when the little ones need a break. Lots of science built into the exhibits and we spent hours there. A must see for anyone with kids that's in the area.

Very cool! Do not miss this! The adults were as entertained as the kids. I suggest a couple changes of clothes. The water and bubbles are too much fun to miss. If you have multiple age kids bring multiple adults. Different activities for different age groups in different areas.

Our kids (1 and 3) can literally spend hours here and never get bored (and only explore a couple of exhibits). Because they change of the exhibits periodically and we live in Lansing, we got the year membership and it has already paid for itself multiple times!!

My two year old loved it, and I was fond of the giant light bright. Bring an extra change of clothes if your kid wants to play in the water rooms. I think one or two more family restrooms wouldn't hurt, but it's a pretty awesome place for my boys.

Very upsetting visit today. I had two free passes and went in today with my very, VERY excited toddler. I was told since they were having a fundraiser today that my passes would not be accepted. They told me that they would allow me to use them next time. The issue is I barely have the time and I had to drive a significant distance to get there. As a full time college student and a single dad, the hour and a half round trip was hard enough to pay for. There was absolutely nothing on my free pass that mentions there may be an exclusion due to specific events happening at the museum. I wanted to argue but decided that doing so in front of my 2 year old would not be appropriate. I'm very disappointed with Impression 5.

We had lots of fun at Impression 5 for my son's field trip. They really enjoyed everything. Making slime, playing in the bubble area, throwing a fast ball, launching paper airplanes and a 2-liter rocket. So much to do here!

Always a good time. Science lab, bubble area, and a place to just play around with water. A dozen other science based areas you to get the handle on some basics. We go a few times a year.

Terrific place for afternoon adventure. The interactive activities kept our 11 year old engaged and running from area to area. Select those locations that are appropriate for the age of your little one. The gift shop was reasonably priced for a destination. The offerings were representative of the science center. A good place to take your kiddos.

Kids love it, parents dred it. Gift shop is cool, but expensive. Very limited seating for parents who can't keep up with the kids. Other than 1 candy machine, no snacks or food is available. Annual membership is reasonable. It's a fun hour or so for the kids to explore.

I went with my 3.5 year old son on a daycare field trip. He had a blast! The was plenty for him to do, so much that he didn't get to everything on this visit. Admission is reasonable for kids and free for adults! They had a great toy store inside as well! I highly recommend this place!

It is in serious need of an update. My family and I went on a "free" day. Lots of exhibits didn't work correctly or were dated. It is a fun place for experiences with children for the afternoon, but I can't honestly say I would pay full price for the experience at ANY time.

There is a great variety of fun and informative exhibits for children of all ages (even 52). My daughter and I had a wonderful time there. She is 5 now and I would like to go back again as she gets older as there are a lot of new things for her to learn. We spent over 4 hours and were never board. The do have snacks available and today had food trucks outside for lunch.

We love Impression 5. There's always a new exhibit, it's clean, staff is friendly. The only drawbacks are parking can be tough when school's out and there are no public bathrooms on the first floor. Sometimes little folks can't make it to the second floor! Otherwise a wonderful place...become members!

The kids had a lot of fun. It didn t take as long to get through everything as we thought it would. We did the water tables last as a friend recommended and brought dry clothes to change into. Good thing, the kids were soaked.

Outstanding sensory learning museum. I ve gone to Impression5 since I was a little kid and it s never gotten old even though my kids play on some of the same exhibits that I did. They have been renovating and expanding a lot in the past few years and it is one of the must visits for new comers to Lansing.

Everything you look for in a science center without all the complicated unnecessary trappings. The price is great, the place is friendly, accessible and well-maintained. Love the old warehouse vibe inside. Not too crowded, great rotating exhibits and community involvement.
