The 5 star reviews are fake or mistaken. These guys pay doctors nothing for visits. They issued me a pediatrician as a PCP and then a doctor that does not accept new Illinicare patients. Got hung up on once and the reference numbers are useless. I do not know how this insurance company exists they probably are stealing medicaid dollars withheld from people paychecks.Medicaid is not free.

Choose Meridian Health Plan as they got highest scores on report card. Illinicare is used for residents to practice on as patients. Struggling to find a PCP for a simple x-ray on my toe. F this company.

So when I first was assigned this insurance I was disappointed because they were having A hard time finding me A doctor and hospital that were affiliated together. Almost A year ago I gave it one star however their customer service reps have always gone above and beyond to try and help. With some help from them I just started calling Drs to see if they took my insurance. I found that UIC one of the leading hospitals in the world takes this insurance and my Dr is at At A family clinic that's on staff at UIC. Now I'm very satisfied with this insurance and couldn't be more greatful. Advice to the CEO update your equipment for your csr's !!! Everyone of them is as kind as the next ! Thankyou

Our doctors see patients that have this insurance and if you are a provider that is considering joining their panel, I would take a hard look at your decision and think twice about it! We have been in network since 2014 and there service is terrible, they do not pay their claims and if you have a problem their traditional customer service can't help you. They will assign you an inexperienced provider relations rep who will only return some of your emails and almost never return a phone call. We have been waiting 18 months to have multiple claims paid and they can't seem to figure out the problem nor will they pay the claims. I have emailed 2 people higher up in the organization, the emails have not been rejected or sent back as undeliverable and neither party has replied back to me. As soon as we get paid for what we are owed, we will be resigning from their plan and not see there patients anymore.

It's sad but I do miss the work I did for this company. I left because of management and the lack of safety in doing my job. I miss the clients that I interacted with and that is what I miss the most. I wish this company well on the merger but things definitely need to change.

This is an easy job especially if you have customer service call center experience but the management is HORRIBLE!!! they show a lot of favoritism. I heard a lot of bad things about this company before i started but i wanted to be positive and give it a positive try on my own. The training is rushed and horrible. If you are a experienced csr and have a great background DO NOT waste your time on this ghetto establishment. Please know your worth and work for a company that truly cares for your dedication and hard work.

Poor customer service. Never able to reach call center to get anything done. They make you wait. Pick up the call and hang up or goes to voicemail. Operators have voicemail only if they are on break ? Working hours no one ever picks up. Not sure how this is highly rate if there is no communication between patient and client. Avoid.

Went in for an interview. The receptionist was so nice. We talked the whole time. She introduced me to the trainer for the job as he was walking in to the office. Had a great conversation with him. Had my interview. It went well but I did not get the job. A little disappointed because they missed out on a good employee. But all is well. It was a fun day.
