Usual ikea shopping experience. Very busy at weekends and public holidays. Nice vegetarian breakfast and great value with an ikea family card!
Shop well laid out but not really for us we felt that there were a few handy gadgets but the furniture was very cheap looking and not of real quality .
As you walk round you start happy and smiling. Then slowly your soul is sucked from your feet to the Swedish God's of furniture. Half way around the top you get to the food hall and can stock up on energy. Then down to the dungeon fir more soul sucking and putting things in your basket you don't need but look awesome. At the end you check out Bargain Corner and sometimes it's great other times it's like a jumble sale. After checkout there's the mini food stall to get topped up and the fun 'you stay here, I'll run for the car'. No one has manners at this point as your soul has been taken and everyone wants to get the stuff in the car and go.
Car park always busy as is checkouts you have to walk right through shop to get to checkouts not good if you are in a hurry
Great shopping experience and and a great value restaurant.
they had everything I was looking for. easy to find things. nice lunch to.
Great place to shop, have a bite to eat and also enjoy the use of the creche for the little boys and girls ages 3 - 9 years its also a free service to use and have peace and quite while u shop or enjoy a quite meal
We love IKEA, unfortunately most of the time you go for something that you find online, by the time you go there is already out of stock.
As usual great staff assistance
Great prices found exactly what I wanted x
First visit in a few years!! Its got worse ! Its a maze that you just get lost in. Spend hours looking for what you want .....to go down to the warehouse and it not be in stock !! Not as reasonably priced as it once was either. I think I'm done. Thanks.
Because ikea with kids and a bored husband is never fun
Typical IKEA. Personally I hate going there I hate the way you are forced to walk in a way they want you to rather than going around freely
Staff to Visitor ratio seemed poor but otherwise fairly standard Ikea experience
Impossible to get too. The postcode given doesn't match its location. I had to drive around for a bit to find it. By chance I happened to see a small sign, and turned off. However, the place seems to have about 3 exits and only 1 entrance.....and you have to be coming from a specific direction to use that which, means orbiting the site nearly twice. I only realised this after I'd parked up across the road (the driver in front of me who was clearly looking for the same thing had driven off in frustration) and walked in.
I'm all for encouraging use of public transport and walking, etc, but when your primary business is selling furniture in an out of town stores you'd kind of think you'd make ease of access for cars a priority. So my advice, find somewhere else.
btw, I was looking for a sofa, and they didn't have any!
This place is amazingly huge. We spend there 4-5 hours wondering around. All displayed furniture made me feel like I am walking in one huge house. Since we were there on a Sunday, store was way to overcrowded. Next time we will choose weekday instead. Even on a such a busy day, staff on the floor was very helpful and friendly. We bought few things and had fun assembling it. Included instructions are very handy and easy to understand.
Busy made to walk round whole display when I only wanted a set of boxes definitely not for my generation stuff is good but not as cheap as it used to be ...
They are very lost. I placed an order online and they sent me extra boxes, I called them and they took a month to collect useless boxes for me.
Its suprisingly really fun ledgend says the meatballs are delicious the ledgend is very true
Still had (unnecessarily long) queues in the cafeteria and again at checkout.... therefore rather cool food
Lots of bits and pieces to buy and look at. Good food selection too for take away and eating in. Very busy at peak times
This place is like a soul sucking temptress
You go in, come out and the day is gone somehow
Take kids if you plan to lose them or spend endless hours searching for them
Busy on Sunday afternoon. Service quite good when asking where things were etc
Returns queues can be massive! I was there yesterday 40 minute wait! Not good.
Just went to marketplace but well worth a visit. Lots of great buys. Love it. Will teturn
Seems to everything needed for the household and very reasonably priced
Very helpful staff...good parking...good food choices
The good - it's cheap and ok hut dog and buns at end, the bad - it's tiresome to go round, the ugly - they've reduced the cut through's so you have to troll round the endless track of displays.
Fantastic customer service staff where extremely helpful today with advice etc
Huge store plenty of selection and staff on hand to assist. Great restaurant and takeaway area too
Good meatballs had to travel here from Glasgow to collect a chair we apparently had to have it's a good big store with lots of displays restraunt etc plenty parking
Took around 10-15 minutes to queue to get in. Didn't feel overcrowded when inside. If you want to dine then you need to book when queueing and pick a time slot. The queue to checkout was something else...probably took around 30 minutes, however I have to say it was pretty well managed. Lots of our items were out of stock but managed to find alternatives. A word of advice - if there are 2 of you shopping together, 1 should wait in the queue with the trolley whilst the other gets any remaining items from the aisles. We went on a Saturday evening thinking it would be quieter - we were wrong. I guess people are still not going out as much due to Covid-19!
Got a great desk here, all the stuff here is great quality.
Not enough staff at tills, some of cafe food was cold, dirty tables.
Hell. Screaming children. Inedible food. Broken spirits. Despair.
It s IKEA. If you like Swedish Flat Pack furniture & hot dogs then this is the place for you! If you don t want to browse the showroom there s a sneaky wee short cut to the market place just to the right of the big staircase at the entrance.
Please improve your signage for parking so that customers know where the parking is for those with and without children. We have just been verbally abused by another customer as your symbol on the parking space was not clear that we should not park there.
Forced to go round a route through the store, why would anyone like ikea?
Yes good all new I found tv cabinet I like ll go bk for coffee table wiv glass on top
Plenty of parking, well laid out store. I've used the kitchen design function and the staff are attentive and patient. Food in the restaurant okay (can't go wrong with this meatballs) but service can sometimes be varied. Sometimes I prefer to use the fast food outlet the other side of the checkouts along with a wander around the food shop. Wish store was closer to home so I could buy frozen food.
It's an Ikea, they are all the same! It is though every store comes flat packed.
I don't find this Ikea as overcrowded as other ones I've been to. Always like the interiors in there.
A destination to everything. All amenities at its best price with superior quality and innovative design.
Huge range of furniture, home accessories and decorations. You can get there anything you need for your house.Ikea restaurant offers great food and free soft drinks refills. My kids love going to Ikea store!
Beautiful showrooms - very clean and well-maintained despite the relatively high volume of customers. Staff is readily available and helpful.
I would've given it 4 stars because IKEA is great but they make you walk through the whole shop to get to the exit. U understand why they do it but if you just go to buy one thing you end up looking and hundreds of different things and it takes such a long time.
Customer service was excellent. Staff were so helpful and certainly had great product knowledge.
Stopped in for a "meat baws" meal. Usually ok but it was dire on this occasion. Nae gravy, nor jam in the downstairs Cafe.
Pants
Extremely disappointed. Their web site AND their phone system on 2 days said they are open during the snowy periods. They were not. Not even a hand written note on the door to say sorry. Very Poor!!!
Brilliant shop, love coming here and we got a Bob this time
Visited, especially to buy a table and chairs. A member of staff demonstrated how to slide the leaves of the table to reduce the size and assisted me in picking my chairs. All the staff were helpful and friendly. When I ordered what I wanted, the dilvery system was explained and that I could have everything made up at the same time. This was organised efficiently and I was given a day and time for delivery. I look forward to receiving my new table and chairs.
Great day out but its draining and you can end up spending a fortune.
Has all you need for home and garden. Went for lunch and ended up buying kitchen utensil and cake!!
Excellent products but can be very busy, okay if you like people!
Staff busy in chatting planning dates
""Ian and jayne""" so much in love that they forget they are at work and need to help customers...........on checkout lady was complelty having hungover counted money twice and then accused of paying less .......then 3rd time manager counted money again and manager came with excuse "" oh she have blind moment ,we are sorry etc etc """come on red face shows blind moment aye....
If you are drunk dont come to work plzzz....manager was funny though with her excuses .......while she herself knew
Her staff is drunk ..... ...
Great place for ideas and excellent range of household items. Definitely worth the money
IKEA is great in its practical well priced offerings. The restaurant is also great.
