Open House Day:-
It was a amazing experience to visit various departments at IISC. Thanks to Administration, Staff and Students in organizing such an event. The Masrer's and Doctoral students took extra efforts to explain a host of scientific principles in simple language.

India's best research institute also ranked no.1 clg in India. Students have to crack the KVPY exam to enter this clg. Normally BSc , MSc and PhD courses are offered here. The environment here is full of greenery and the research here done is full of advance technology.

I am an undergraduate student in engineering. I want to do my M.Tech from IISc.
So have made it as my futur vision.
Because this the greatest place of science and engineering in India.

Beautiful campus and a Great place to study and for research but the campus life on a whole is quite dull, they don't even have proper street lights if you want to take a stroll in night

Indian Institute of Science is a public institute for research and higher education in science, engineering, design, and management. It is located in Bangalore, India, was established in 1909 with active support from Jamsetji Tata and H.H. Sir Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, the Maharaja of Mysore.

Green and clean campus. The main attraction of the campus is the greenery. We can seen very big trees all over the campus. The entire campus is clean and no waste or plastic can be seen there. Many of the students and staff use cycles. The campus has got an atmosphere very similar to an air conditioned hall. The air is very clean and we can feel it while breathing. Good hostel and Canteen facilities are also available in the campus. Apart from this, I came to know that the institute itself is well managed and maintains high standard in academic achievements. It is one of the top rated institutes in India. The staff, students and the managing body deserves a special salute

It's one India's topmost institutes as we all know. What most of us don't know is there is a hidden gem inside the campus. It's called prakruti. That place offers a wide variety of vegetarian food. My personal favorite is mushroom munchurian, it is yummy. Everything in the menu is made for student's budget. There's another non vegetarian restaurant as well inside the campus. The institute also has an amazing auditorium, well equipped labs, a clean room (a room with very little vibration), lots of trees,a place to rent cycle . Go crazy on the next open day

I am proud to say IISE Institute is the best. I have improved a lot

Currently a third year Integrated PhD student here, got all the top IITs too, but decided to become an IIScian the moment I learnt I had cleared the interview. Don't regret it at all, the faculty and infrastructure rivals any of the top IITs, if not better. For research and higher education this is the best place in India. Add to that the lush green campus,you will love it once you come here.

This is the best place to do research in India, hands down. People here are research minded and are open to new ideas. The professors are also open-minded and encourage people to think.
Even the course work is done in an interactive, open-ended, research oriented manner in such a way that it assists the students further in their research. Research quality facilities wise IISc is the best of its kind in the country with novel research going on in all the disciplines both science and engineering throughout the year.

As for the ambience, this can be said to be the best place to live in the entire Bangalore city.
For a city like Bangalore in 2019, where pollution, traffic are day to day companions, having a pollution free zone in the middle of the city, which is near to Yeshwantpur Railway station and some other places nearby like Malls, ISKCON, and others. And there is a mini forest inside the campus that inhabits many many species of both flora and fauna, many species of birds, trees, plants, small animals like otters etc. A nature friendly place that gives peace of mind...

By the way I am pursuing my PhD in Mechanical engineering department at IISc. This place will make anyone fall in love with studies...

I just had a visit here and this place was awesome!! Full of greenery, all facilities provided in the campus.

No doubt, one of the best college for science and researches. The whole environement is good and very calm and quite. The infrastructure though needs to be improved, yet the facilities are ambient.
The students are engaging and looks to be into research.
