I was one of the fortunate to get admission here in 1971 and after nearly 40 years of my career as a communications engineer , I recently paid a visit to the IISc and it was delightful to see the campus grounds green as ever and students and staff involved in latest technology. I can certainly say that with the unparalleled education I received in the three years of courses in materials science, analog and digital circuit design, display technology, solid state microwaves, transmission theory and digital communication, I could not have been better prepared for a rewarding career as an engineer.
