It s sad that there are so few record stores around anymore but for those of us living in Michiana we re fortunate to have Ignition - one of the best record stores around. I really love this place. They have a great selection of new vinyl and many genres as well. They also boast an impressive used vinyl and CD collection to shop through. They also sell some equipment. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a record store and the location downtown is convenient and brings good vibes to the area. Personally, I think this place is way more than just a record store. They have live music and other events. To me Ignition is an institution in the area and easily my favorite record store between here and Indy.

They are the best. Great concerts and great vinyl. A must for anyone serious about great music.

Great selection of albums and a super venue for small concerts

Ignition Music is a great record store as well as an excellent venue for live music. They have a vast selection of titles on both vinyl and CD. They also sell, refurbish and repair audio equipment. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Check them out on your next trip to Goshen, you won't be disappointed.

Quite a good selection of vinyl and cds. They also have friendly staff to help you out. Nice place to wander around idly with a friend and pick up a few albums.

This place has a good and diverse collection of Vinyl Records to explore, and if they don't have what you need - they'll special order it. The owner, Steve is really nice and always seems to remember his customers names. There's also a coffee shop right next door which makes this a really cool spot to pick out some vinyl and then relax with coffee and a book.

I can't say what their music store business is like, but I have been here for a live show and it was fantastic. The sound is great and the room is so lively! The exposed brick is beautiful, the space is clean and the seating (if you get there early enough to grab a seat) is very comfortable. The bathrooms are okay, and the beer selection is limited but local.
I can't wait to see another concert here!
I also noticed that they sell local music here, which I appreciate.

Ignition garage has a large selection of records new and used. They also have cds and lots of music equipment. The best part is the various concerts they host. We've seen some really good local bands and bands from out of town. If this place doesn't have the records you're looking for they are always happy to order them. This place is worth checking out for sure! Especially if you're a music fan!

I shop at Ignition Music for all of my records. It is a small record store, but they have a lot of good records and the staff is amazing.

The great place to buy vinyl records and great place to go and meet new friends

It was an amazing experience...we just got a record player from Santa Claus!!! The music sounds so much better than CDs. We scored some great oldies...Bob Seger, The Eagles, etc....all for a fair price. We are enjoying them for our New Year entertainment!!!!

If your a common man looking to purchase a stereo related item to DIY I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. I get the impression if your not going to let them do the work their not willing to help you.

Nice little venue for live music with an intimate atmosphere. I love places where the musicians feel comfortable enough to mingle with the crowd.

If they continue to bring acts as good as The Frank Vignola Hot Jazz Trio to Goshen, they will make a jazz mecca of this area.

Small enough to feel like a private show. Big enough to get lost in the music.

This place can really be hit or miss. On one hand, the owner is extremely straight-forward, knowledgeable, and eager to talk about any aspect of music. If you happen to be here when the owner is not around, you may encounter staff who seem to be "too cool" to even acknowledge you. Perhaps that's just the experience they are looking to create, but it can be off-putting.

Possibly the best selection of vinyl I've ever come across. Really knowledgeable staff, retro feel and it's a cool, intimate venue for live music. Well worth the time of any music lover:)

I don't really buy LPS but they have a huge selection! I love the live music venue here. All types from blues,Americana,folk,country, even a little rock.

Pretty cool to get to see the Ballroom Thieves right here in Goshen.

Went for the first time today. I found it online and it looked great, so I took the drive out there. It was worth it. The place just looks fantastic. Really cool, hip, modern but retro vibe. Great staging area for live music. Record selection was decent. As with most record stores there were lots of bargan bins with classic rock from the 60s and 70s and some 80s stuff too. Lots of "new" vinyl of bands I've never heard of as well as a fair share of reissues. Would have liked to have seen some more punk and heavy metal. Record players there to spin before you buy. Friendly staff. I'll definately be back!

Great place for music lovers. The concerts they host are top notch curated tallent. Make sure you catch a show there is a great venue. Support local and grab a CD LP or some vintage audio gear while you are there.

Ignition Music Garage is one of my favorite music venues. Whenever we visit from Portland (OR) we make it a priority! Great vibe, excellent musicians, friendly staff, and a new sound stage. Don't forget to look up Steve Martin for the ultimate in trivia and nonsense!

Such a great space with a nice selection of new and used vinyl, CDs, tapes. Also a great place to see bands play. The newish owners are delightful.

I have traveled all over Indiana and have scoured the state for record stores. Ignition Music has a great selection of quality used vinyl and a very well stocked new record section. I mostly hunt for used vinyl and the last three times I ve visited, I found selections from my must have list. The prices are fair and I rarely walk away without spending my budget for the day. I have also sold them some used records and they gave me a good price. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The store Itself gives off a great music/nostalgic vibe and the records are organized well. I love that they have a new arrival section for used vinyl! Keep up the great work! I highly recommend a visit!

One of a kind venue with great vinyl selection, Hi-fi products and expertise as well as a lovely staff. Stop by and be amazed. Also, as if that weren't enough, they convert the store into a concert venue for fabulously curated shows by amazing musical artists.

Love this place cause it is really the only local record store around the Goshen area. Pretty decent selection for being this small too. Friendly and helpful staff and owner. Would highly recommend checking it out if your looking for a record store in the area

Awesome record store. I got my turntable from here. The employee I spoke with was very knowledgeable, and I always look forward to going to this store whenever I'm in the area.

Just what Goshen needs. A great atmosphere with bands and records

Our first time there! My husband fell in love! And the best part for me is that the Electric Brew is right next door. Feeling a date night coming!

This is such a cool and unique place. Goshen is really lucky to have it. The bands that they bring in are all wonderful from my experience. We especially like the rag birds

A diamond in the rough. Owners are knowledgeable and if they don't have it, they can get it.

One of those incredible destination stores. Excellent selection of Vinyl complimented by other music. New and used sound systems. And most notably, a live music venue for traveling americana musicians. Good hours, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Truly an excellent find.

This is a great place if you're looking for turntables or vinyls, they also have live bands on the weekends I do believe, nice place and nice employees

Very cool little place! It has a very unique vibe that I love, and had a few odd vinyls I was surprised that they had. Their organization is a little different than I am used to, you may have to check a few different areas of the shop to find something.
