Great baked goods. Love their bagels. However, the service is marginal at best - lots of bored teenagers who haven't learned how to hide their eye roles. Their counter service would benefit from a rope-line queue.

Despite its unassuming exterior -- you will feel like you're driving to a random warehouse in the middle of nowhere -- the inside of Iggy's Bread is super cute and quaint, with giant baskets of samples along the bar in the back and tantalizing displays of cookies, pizzas, bread puddings, pastries such as croissants, plus baskets upon baskets of loaves behind the counter. The pecan crescent cookie was excellent, and the bread pudding was decent as well. One thing I really appreciate is they sell mini loaves! Since it's just me and my partner at home, getting a giant loaf and destroying it over the course of the week is...just a lot. Even though, like Oprah, I LOVE BREAD.

The only thing that would make this place better is seating or even counter space to enjoy your coffee and pastry while standing and chatting. But it's a tight space, so understandable!

I always go there for lox bagel, sandwich, pastries, pizza, bread and cookies. They are just so good. The place is always packed and breakfast sandwich and lunch sandwiches are different (also pizza only come out around noon)- really good.

The best place for bread in Massachusetts. I've been coming here for a few years and they never disappoint. Everything from their parmesan toast, bread sticks, croissants, to regular loafs of bread are outstanding. No matter what you get, you can't go wrong.

Lines can get long so be sure to go early. Place can get loud and kinda chaotic too, but that shouldn't stop you from going there. Can't recommend enough.

Iggy's has the best bread in the region.

Iggy's has the best bread in the region.

In my opinion, despite being idiosyncratic in character (nothing like NYC) they also have the best bagels, but opinions vary on that subject. Regardless of your stance on the touchy bagel issue, go there and buy a sourdough round. Buy a bunch, and freeze them, because even microwave-thawed, they're still superior to most other local breads.

They also have great baguettes, though they're far from Parisian in character, and there's usually something savory and interesting available for tasting in the store.

we've been ordering delivery from Iggy's since early in the pandemic and are very happy with the deliveries; they're always on time and carefully placed inside our storm door so the squirrels can't get the bread. some of the best bread in Boston and we don' t have to leave the house!

Decent baked goods but their prices have skyrocketed over the past few months. For instance the large sticky bun used to cost $3.25. They discontinued the large size and now the medium size costs $3.50 and it is half the size of the large.

Very friendly staff. Amazing breads, have been going there a few times a week for the last 12 years. I've never tired of it because there is so much variety and everything is so good. Great prices too!

Love Iggy's and have been buying for 20 years through Russo's. My only ask: Please add more lighting to your Cambridge store. I honestly can hardly see when I walk in there. I know you're likely going for mood lighting, but take pity on those of us who have bad eyesight. Feel like I'm going spelunking in there.

Holy Moly, my chauffeur job brings me to spectacular hidden gems!!!
Slice of artisanal veggie pizza 2.95 economically priced.
The corner crust was the showstopper, scrumptious
And the Speck and Brie sandwich was an adventure that was tasty
P.S. only $7 in this day of age

The baked good are great. But, the customer service is rude rude rude. The person that assisted us had dark hair with a couple of colored stripes. She looked unwashed. We were the second and third customers inside approximately 940am Sunday Jan 24, 2021. Six people behind the counter all but one talking with each other because she was helping the only other customer in the store. She was clearly upset that we were interrupting her conversation with the other employee. My wife has obvious medical issues.Total lack of professionalism and respect. Very disappointing. I'm opening up a yelp account because of my experience.

I went to Iggys for lunch today, the girl that helped me ( curly hair Ponytail on the side) yelled at me and pointed her finger to wait outside because there were to many people in there . Another nice gentleman asked me to stay and he would wait outside. I told her my order and she was extremely rude and when i left there were more people in the store and she did not say anything. I hope is not because i am spanish and everyone else was white.

I am beyond disappointed with IGGYS s bakery! My family has been customers of them for a while, but in the past year, I ve seen how their #customerservice and #products have declined significantly.

As soon as you enter their store, the atmosphere feels like a meat market. They rush you to pick whatever they have available. If you don t arrive at the time they open, be prepared to see that many of their products are already out of stock (this issue can be fixed if they plan an effective inventory forecasting). Also, if you don t choose quickly, they will start looking at you like a persona non-grata.

Finally, to make it a more of a disappointing experience, we noticed that they have increased their prices and reduced the size of some of their most popular items. Realizing this gives you a bitter taste.

At the start of the Covid pandemic, back in March of 2020, I started looking around for online grocery orders & deliveries. Was delighted to discover that Iggy's did home deliveries to our town (and that too FREE for orders greater than $ 20). Best decision we made was to order from them. First time we sampled their goods, we were hooked. And we continue to order from them even though it is less risky now to go into stores. Iggy's online ordering process is smooth ad easy; the deliveries are on time and carefully packaged; their products (bagels, pizza shells, croissants, breads..) are so fresh and tasty - some of the best we have eaten around these parts.

Amazing bakery! Great staff.

Amazing bakery! Great staff.

This bakery is home to the breads you find in the nice restaurants in and around Boston. You can buy this bread at many of the grocery stories in the area, but buying it at Iggy s bakery you get it at a slightly better price and get it fresh.

This is the only bakery they have where you can walk in and order other delicious goods from them such as fancy croissants, sweet treats, and delicious pizza slices (at lunch time). They also have cold brew coffee on tap, as well as tea and hot coffee. 100% recommend coming here, but be warned it is in the middle of nowhere in terms of its immediate surroundings (warehouses and factories). While the weather is nice you can venture to a nearby park along Fresh Pond to enjoy your purchases. (They is no seating at Iggy s).

I have visited Iggy s Bread on multiple occasions and it s been a pleasure every single time. Last time I went, I was greeted and helped by an extremely professional and nice girl (dark hair and bun, seemed to have a twin working there as well, or maybe I was just seeing things) I am satisfied by their kindness and the quality of the food. Highly recommend to anyone who has a passion for bread.

Their sticky bun is literally hands down the best pastry I've EVER had and I'm super into pastries! I kept coming here when they were mostly sold out in the afternoon- you need to get there in the morning if you don't want the dregs but omg life changing.

The bread and pastries are very good - the best I ve had in the Boston area in my four years living there and I m French so I m very hard to please. The sticky bun and the raisin roll are especially wonderful. However, every time I go I m shocked by the rudeness of the employees (and again, I m French so pretty used to not super nice employees). I hope someday the service will be as good as the bread!

This is a large bakery which is popular with locals and has become something of an area institution. The breads are certainly good, but can not compare with those produced by smaller-scale bakers. Some parking is available on site and on the street in front for Cambridge residents. Served by the MBTA "red line" Alewife subway station and the 74 and 78 buses.

Maybe one of the best bakeries in the area when it comes to sourdough, bagels, and croissants. I haven't been able to get a pizza slice recently, but I' looking forward to getting one soon.

Definitely come here for a takeout lunch when you can or on a weekend. You will not be disappointed. There is a reason their bread is usually sold out in Whole Foods. Getting it here fresh is so much better though.

Amazing bakery. It might be the best in the city.

Excellent bagels. My wife likes bagels that are more doughy, like Bagelsaurus. I like these. Croissants are buttery and flaky. The iced coffee is great.

This is the best bakery in the United States by far. The rye bread is out of this world (I m German) and the patisseries are comparable to the best in Paris. I recommend: the rye bread, pecan roll, and the tuna sandwich but essentially, everything here is excellent.

So dissapointed with Iggy's Bakery store on Fawcett st.Cambridge MA. I talked to a baker from Iggy's Bread at 4am after his shift. He said they bake 3 gluten free products and one is a bagel. Visited the Bakery store at 3:30 pm and was told none of the baker's speak English and Iggy's dosen"t sell, bake or have any ovens dedicated gluten free. I felt insulted when the girl at the counter said, "None of the baker's speak English," because one spoke fluent English with me .

Terrific products but the service staff usually has a miserable attitude. Are they overworked, dislike working the counter or just generally hate customers? I've been to this location 6 times and in 5 of those experiences the counterstaff looked so unhappy.

I like this bakery because it has good quality bread and it has its own parking! I find the bread a bit pricy but maybe due to the location. My favorite selection includes cranberry pecan bread, almond croissant, and sticky bun.

Not only is this the besst bread EVER, the sandwiches are also the best. This has made its way into my lunch options, and is near the top. The egg and tuna salad with capers sandwich is amazing.
