I have been working with IES for the past seven years and with three different school districts. They are a truly professional organization and provide world class support. They host our website and there is never a time, it is not online. The few times that we have had a question about our website, we are able to talk to an experiences tech that can answer our questions promptly and they are always very courteous. The owner of IES not only pays his employees poorly he also charges fees and monthly fees that don't make any since. No reason to be paying monthly for a website forever. Not sure why so many companies use IES it is really confusing. Poor quality development with outrageous never ended fees attached to them.
IES Cyberschool has been a great company to deal with. My school district changed from hosting our own website to Cyberschool over three years ago. The finished product has been great. The best feature is that I only pay for the services that I need. Many other school services charge fees that are three and four times higher, for the same product. Our district is very pleased and tech support has been very responsive in the few times I had questions.
Cyberschool has always been open to suggestions to add new features and improve upon existing ones. Their technical staff is knowledgeable and responsive to issues, and to help out their users when questions arise. Our organization has worked with IES for several years. We appreciate that IES has made an effort to develop more responsive website templates for our agency to choose from, and the level of customization that those templates allow us to incorporate into our website.
We also appreciate being able to access unlimited web-based training, but have specific recommendations for improvement. The first recommendation is to have a complete training syllabus available to their customers, covering the features and functions of Wordpress that the client will need to use in order to manage their website content. For example: Images (format, uploading, use in content creation).
This training syllabus should also be the source of recorded web training (so that clients may refer to different sections of the training upon demand) and written documentation of processes and procedures which can also be referred to upon demand, rather than deferred to the next scheduled training session.
As current training is being offered, it is up to the client to request and schedule training and define the training syllabus, and to schedule and attend additional training if certain topics of training need arise later. It's an inefficient training system, much of which could be alleviated with a more thoughtful approach by IES.
So, overall, the design and hosting services represents a very good value, but I would recommend that potential clients assess their proficiency with Wordpress and consider seeking outside training resources to supplement the training IES provides.
The IEs team is helpful and responsive to our calls for help whenever we need it! Not having an IT person on staff, and not having "techie" knowledge could be a real problem, but not when we have the IES team on our side!
IES has been a great partner for years. Their helpfulness and support are the best I've seen. I particularly appreciate how flexible their platform is and how many options are available. They make it easy to engage our community in school district activities.
IES support staff are professional and quick to respond to requests. The website editor is easy to use. The only negative is that it doesn't have a publish date option in the editor, and you can't view the pages before they are live when making edits.

I've managed our school district web site for the past two years. The IES team has been so helpful and patient as I've learned the technical and design skills. Their support team is outstanding and quick. Their features and options are continually improving and still maintain the original user- friendly backbone of design. We have just begun using the IOS and Android app options and have found them to be easy to set up and surprisingly useful and user friendly for our students and community. Since the teachers in our school have such a wide range of computer skills, it's been relatively easy to create a template for the teachers to create their individual pages. Anyone who works in school technology will know that staff tech skills can be frustrating but IES has made it pretty simple. In short, the CyberSchool team is friendly and helpful and have put together a great product. I'm happy to recommend them to any school district that is looking for a good platform for their interactive website.
