IDL Review

IDL Company designed and created a custom landscape lighting system for us. We are very impressed with with every stage of the process from the initial consultation to final installation. IDL Company listened to our ideas and merged them with their experience and expertise of what quality lighting is and we couldn't be happier with the results. We are definitely looking to phase two of our lighting project. If you are looking for Kansas City landscape lighting, these are your guys!

This is the second time we ve used Nathan and IDL. Our first experience was at our former home last year when he and his crew put in new French drains and raised the dirt around the house. Nathan was so great to work with! Our second time, recently, we had Nathan and his team put in a sprinkler system, French drains, and again, raise the dirt around our new home. His crew was fantastic and their work was beautiful. Nathan runs a fantastic business full of honesty and integrity. We highly recommend IDL!

Jon and Eric were professional, and even a little early. One of the zones in my sprinkler system was not working, and they were able to quickly and efficiently fix the problem. Would definitely recommend them for any future work.

Great service! Helped with our sprinkler system for winter blowout and spring startup. Adjusted the sprinkler heads for better coverage and replaced three leaking ones. Really satisfied.

This is my first sprinkler system and Nathan thoroughly explained everything about the new system. The quote was complete and detailed. The installers were professional, friendly, and very conscientious and respectful of my property. I was amazed at how little the existing grass was disrupted by the installation of the pipe and sprinkler heads. The install crew was very neat with their work.

Nathan came by a few days after the install was complete, to check out the system and make sure I was satisfied. I am !

Discovered IDL when Spire sent them to fix a broken sprinkler (construction related). We were very pleased with the tech who fixed it. When we messed up our sprinkler controller recently, we called IDL. They fixed the system and replaced a leaking sprinkler head. The techs, Jon and Eric, arrived exactly on time, wore masks, worked fast and efficiently....and were both pleasant and informative as they worked. I highly recommend IDL!

I had some sprinkler issues I needed help with. Scott & Jon did a great job. They went above and beyond explaining what the issues were and providing options on how to fix them. I highly recommend their services.

We had IDL sprinkler system installed 1.5 yrs. ago and we also had them create a drainage solution for 2 downspouts and a sump discharge. They did a fabulous job from the providing the estimates to installation and they set themselves apart from their competitors. I inquired with 3 other companies.

I believe this review has more value as I have had the system for 1.5 yrs. and as I have gone through the process of shutting it down for the winter and starting it up in the spring. Danielle, the office manager, is very friendly. I feel at ease that she is confident of the operation and she is an excellent communicator which has been helpful for scheduling the back-flow testing and the billing. I give IDL Company the highest review and I recommend them with great enthusiasm!

IDL Co came out yesterday to perform the back flow test and to open up my sprinkler system for the season. I just want to say I was very impressed with Tyler, the tech they sent out. Tyler took the time to check on every zone and each sprinkler head to make sure it was operating properly and I was satisfied with it. He is so pleasant to talk to and has an awesome work ethic for such a young man. Tyler was also the tech they sent out to shut down my system last year and when we were walking around my house yesterday checking everything out he even noticed I had made a couple of improvements to my house. I was so impressed, he is awesome to say the least.

We received several bids and IDL was by far the best price. Nathan was super kind and quick to respond in all communication. Chris and Travis were hardworking, friendly, and knowledgeable. They came back a few times to adjust some things and always had a wonderful attitude about it. I can t recommend them enough! My parents have already used them for service and said in the 20 years they ve had their irrigation system, it s never run this well!

Chris and Travis, did an excellent job and I would highly recommend IDL to anyone installing a sprinkler system. The installation team was superb, professional, hard working, and highly knowledgeable in their product and services.

Had them come out and replace 5 of my french drains to stop some erosion and the crew did a wonderful job. Both Travis and Chris were very courteous, friendly and professional and completed the job in the time frame they gave me. Will definitely be using them again if I need further work done.

Wonderful to work with through the whole process. Nathan was very informative and very professional and pleasant. The two men headed by Juan, were hard workers and did a fantastic job installing. They set the program and explained how to operate. We ran the system this morning and are so excited to have sprinklers that will cover the yard.

When Nathan come out to review my lawn irrigation needs and provide a quote, he actually enjoyed the page of questions I had for him! We chose IDL for the installation of our system and Juan and Mario did a great job of installing. Very friendly and helpful in explaining what they were doing. Nathan provided everything in the quote and in our subsequent communications to make sure the system operates efficiently, effectively and as we discussed. We've been using IDL for at least 5 years, and we are completely satisfied with our service. Our wonderful tech is Tyler. Tyler is an absolute delight! He is a hard worker, who is trustworthy. I know the job is being done with integrity. He is hilarious, too! I look forward to seeing him every year.
I have to add, Danielle, the office manager, is awesome! She is very friendly, personable, funny and PATIENT! She is so patient with me. We will never leave IDL. I know I am getting excellent service and workmanship, so why go somewhere else?
