A big thank you to you, without a doubt I will come back as soon as I have a new car.

Hello, From my experience, although the reception was courteous, Identicar did not process my file for reasons that left me speechless: While my locked car suffered a theft of the steering wheel, GPS, dashboard ... IDENTICAR opposes me that there is no break-in mark on the police report and therefore that I have no guarantee. In fact, the thieves did not force a door but, according to the Police, used an electronic device to open the vehicle. It could be laughable if it was not so appalling and if it did not relate to practices of another time (the famous exclusions of insurers) While we see reports on the equipment of modern thieves, Identicar takes refuge behind the mechanical break-in ... A photo to let you judge if there has been a break-in !!
At the end of my first year of contract, now is the time to renew it or not .... Not wishing to renew it I do not respond to multiple mails which earned me a phone call from a person who was most disagreeable to the point who explained to me that I did not understand anything and who just gave me no regrets to cancel . I don't think I'm the last to run away after such a call !!
Excellent telephone reception. However, one of the offers after the theft of a car, found is restrictive. Because after 2 and a half months, I still haven't got it back, after numerous phone calls to each intermediary: successive gendarmeries, my insurance and my insurance expert, successive garages ... I want to put it on sale, even almost new, and buy another one ... Heavy damage still present.

Having bought my vehicle from a Renault dealership, the identicar insurance contract was offered to me (see attachment). Shortly after, Identicar customer service contacted me to present their advantages and the potential savings to my main insurance (increase in deductibles bought back by identicar, towing, change of fuel, ... -> Reduction in monthly payments) . I therefore carried out the procedures with my insurance in accordance with the advice of the identicar customer service.
I was recently the victim of an attempted break-in and theft of accessories on my vehicle (wheel + rims + tires + light units + ...). So I asked the Identicar club to buy my franchise.
Identicar refused the franchise buyback on the pretext that the theft of accessories is not covered by this insurance. From reading the contract, I don't know who could have guessed! -> it is written "Franchise buyback: Theft, responsible accident, Glass breakage and Fire: 600 ". and "Progressive compensation: Theft: Fixed amount of 1000 the first year"
My Renault sales advisor, also annoyed by the situation, contacted the Identicar sales department in front of me. The latter did not even try to understand the situation and referred him to the general conditions ...
This contract made by Identicar in its current form is a dishonest strategy to attract customers. To avoid !
