Efficiently designed for the passage of lots of people. Very well-maintained, and lots of sailings. Professional staff. Very good overall!

Efficiently designed for the passage of lots of people. Very well-maintained, and lots of sailings. Professional staff. Very good overall!
Located right in downtown, this station was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway over 100 years ago. Now it's one of the busiest transit hubs in Vancouver. You'll find all transit types like SkyTrain, buses, SeaBus, and West Coast Express. Also, it's supposedly haunted by ghosts, so watch out.
It's Waterfront Station. What else is there to say? Get in, get out, fast! It does that very well.
Great transportation hub. 4 stars because there are no washrooms.
Everything worked fine. Well marked, no obvious problems passing through.
After entering the main station we moved towards the Waterfront Ferry Station which is through a covered walkway about 250 to 300 meters long. We used our pre-loaded Compass Card which is a multi-purpose pass which can be used on the metro, motor bus or the Sea-bus. One can buy a single use ticket as well. There is a ferry crossing every 15 minutes. We waited at the covered ferry station till all the incoming passengers had alighted, then we rushed into the seabus to get a good seat. The seabus starts back to Lonsdale Quay in north Van within 2 or 3 minutes. It is a good experience to ride the seabus and get incredible views of Vancouver harbor.
Old building very nice with some ghost story's. Nearby Gastown perfect place to a walk.
Love it. All staff are friendly and patient for first time visitors. Sea bus is a beautiful experience.
One of the main train stations and be clean beautiful bus
Nearly got fined after trying only to cross the street via the apparent overpass. The door on the side near the water mentions nothing of any paid area. The guy at the turnstiles made me turn back and go all the way back, leaving me no choice but to walk alongside a busy street clearly not meant for pedestrians. They really need to rethink that station.
A Main Hub for the Transportation System. Easy to follow maps, Easy to use tap in / out, Clean, and staff to help with any Questions. Thanks for the ride .....
The Main hub with trains busses and boats. Gets really busy but a cool place to look at
At the same time, we can see three kinds of means of land, sea and air. The exquisite artificial design and open natural beauty will not only contradict each other, but will be subtly blended together.
Great transit hub. Travel by water, bus, rail or subway. Great neighborhoods within minutes in any direction.
Thank you guys for offering the service! Keep up the good work.
Waterfront Station. Canada Place and Northern Vancouver overlooking the sea are easily accessible by sea bus to Northern Vancouver.
Highly recommended to stop here and see all the landscape
One of the most beautiful cities I have ever had the chance of visiting. It was one of the best cities to explore on foot or via transit. After the winter Olympics, the city's infrastructure had significantly improved and made getting to and from the airport much easier and gave light to the beautities of this great Canadian city.
Very busy but central location with a lot of shopping and dining options.
I love the architecture in the entrance hall enough to just give this place all the stars.
The is the downtown transit centre connecting the Canada line to west coast/expo/seabus and it's in desperate need of a thorough plan for renovatation. Improvments are needed to reduce travel time/distance from one end of the terminal (Canada line) to connect to another line (expo, seabus or west coast express).
A nice clean, central SkyTrain station in Downtowan Vancouver - perfect for commuting in/out of the city.
Great station, the sea bus is a quick way to cross Vancouver harbor to the North Shore.
Schedules are off, Google does not have the right schedules. I don t think this is a translink problem. Google has always barfed the summer schedule changes. Tho, if these and last years and the year before that, and the year before are TransLink s fault, lots of Vancouverites have been late getting home during the summer for, let s be kind, 10 years.
Pretty nice station, the principal in Vancouver. You can take the rail or the ferry to north Vancouver, be safe people :)
Waterfront is a good great place to move around to spend your time. It is near the sea bus terminal. Waterfront area displays several festivals including Caribbean days festival and Canada day. You can park your vehicle /car here and go over to Lonsdale market etc. These places are wheelchair and stroller accessible and further there are good restaurants etc.
Reminiscent of Union Station in Toronto, and scaled down version of Central Station in New York. I find it relaxing to just slow down and people watch for a bit, enjoying the architecture and the memories of other places.
I've sat there mesmerized but the abundance of panoramic canvas that The Waterfront affords everyone who take the time to enjoy the moment.
Love the sea bus terminal every time I am there. Feel like I am going on an adventure !!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaay !!!!!!!!
One of the most beautiful place I have ever seen in the world.
Almost always crowded, at least they've put hand sanitizing stations
Station with coffee shop, restaurants and bar. Allyou need!
First time using skytrain easy and simple Came from YVR only way to travel leave car at home
Majestic station, connecting Canada line station with the Millennium line & Seabus--- just wish this place had a public washroom
Great stop to get off to head to the convention centre and see the different structures that Vancouver has to offer, and the olympic fire lighting place.
This is probably the station boasting the most heritage elements. The main station building lobby is very vast and looks vintage. Of all stations, this is probably the one you d most expect to have public toilets inside. And they do about a 3 minute walk out to the SeaBus terminal and a chat with the attendant.
As always, all services are fully accessible through multiple elevators. Can t wait for the escalators to be finished so we don t need to run around the streets to change from Expo to Canada Line.
Canada Line, Expo Line, Seabus, and West Coast Express terminals. Downtown location. Paid parkades nearby. Restaurants nearby. No public washrooms.
Nice machines, working good. had problem with washrooms
A bit confusing with the different entrances but easy enough to find the seabus.
Living on the North Shore it use to be an inconvenience when you had to go to the Airport. The Canada Line and Seabus changed all that. The last time I came back my flight was delayed I arrived very late. My friend and I arrived at the Waterfront Station and we were trying to catch the last Seabus of the night. It's a long journey to the Seabus from the station, there was only seconds of the clock for the Seabus leaving. We decided to run with our luggage to see if we could catch it. The Seabus staff were very nice and held the Seabus an extra 30 seconds so we could catch it. That is top notch service.
Beautiful and historic, but very dirty, and you must prepare yourself, because their are lots of homeless, and addicts.
Always some crazy and funny stories here! I love this spot so much!
Most of the time transit is pretty good. Sometimes you run into a great bus driver or an awesome attendant at the the seabus, other times it feels like the transit police are just there to hassle people. It's over now, but the construction of the toilets got really annoying.
This is where you catch the city bus to go to North Vancouver or take the SkyTrain.
Easy to access to Canada line station, to king George, to surrey, seabus to Northvan, express train. Bars and restaurants across the area and mini convenient store.
The building of the station looks great but there are not many facilities (eg. lockers) which makes it less passenger-friendly.
Students- you can use your Upasses! The monitor in Waterfront station indicates the departure time. The ride is about 15 mins long. The ferry has plastic seats. Shaw bothered to put ads on every single one of them. No washrooms on board.
Waterfront station gives me and many passengers an easy way to the awesome places.
Great and clean station.
Have a safe trip everyone!
Best. Station. Ever. Literally anything you could ever need from a station.
Beautiful scenery, first choice for street shooting.
Old historical station with nice character and easy access to Canada Line SkyTrain, Expo Line SkyTrain, SeaBus, and West Coast Express. Located on the Waterfront of Downtown Vancouver and provides seamless access to Canada Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Very beautiful station, but there are no washrooms!!!
Cool station, very easy navigation here. Highly recommend stopping here, a cool building too and central to everything.
First the bad: Where are the friggin' washrooms?! I couldn't find any!
Now the good: Everything else. From the outside, it looks like I'm getting into a train station from the 1700s in London. But the inside is completely modern. The sign boards are clear and visible from a good distance guiding people to the right place. The station also has some places to eat (quick snacks though, not restaurants). The bridge that takes you from the main train station to the waterfront SeaBus station is EPIC! You get the best view from there. The water, the mountains, the downtown building, the sea harbor, everything. I think this is one the best design train stations I have ever seen in the world. Yes, including LA Union station and NY Grand Central.
I was impressed that you can ride many modes of transportation with an unique fare! At the SeaBus between downtown and North Vancouver, you can obtain many awesome views from the sea and the city.
Nice little station. Of course, crowded on peak hours. Close to many things around Downtown.
The seabus is the right and fast solution to get from the city centre to north Vancouver.
Conveniently Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It is the last stop and a starting point to get trains and sea bus to any destination within greater Vancouver area. Lots of eatery within and outside the station. Nearby attractions are gastown, ocean view, shopping malls and lots of restaurants and food truck places.
lots of eateries and a subway station. Cool building not far from cruise terminal. Money exchange in atm machines.
End of the commuter train line. After this, the next ride will be the sea bus crossing the Burrard inlet to the North Shore. Still has those pay phones which is becoming rarer and rarer.
