Pay for electricity and you don't get it? Their smart meters are always down and now we sit over Christmas without electricity and not knowing when this issue will be fixed? Issue going on since yesterday!

The service is okay. Problem is if you buy units under R100 it doesn't recognize that, to send you recharge numbers. I bought R50 then R51 few minutes later and didn't receive the recharge voucher. Only after calling their call centre I was told, the minimum amount I have to pay is R100. Only after paying the R200 did I get the recharge vouchers.

SUPER Impressed by their services!!! I moved into a new house 3 weeks ago and first time ever that I'm using prepaid water. I bought "tokens" today for the first time, late this afternoon... Around 20:00 they phoned ma asking if I managed to do the EFT without issues. I said yes and gave my meter number, etc... they gave me an email address to send my Proof of Payment, which I did, and after I hit sent I've realised that I've switched my Reference and their reference around - first time ever I've made this mistake. Their reference showed "Water pre-paid" they would have never been able to allocate this. But because they followed up on their EFT registrations I noticed my mistake and they rectified it immediately! I've never received such amazing ans swift services!!!! Amazing first time experience!!!

Whoever took my call on Sunday the 22nd Dec at 20:54, is a moron with no listening skills,
he requested proof of payment, then after calling again he acknowledges that he can see my email. Then nothing happens...
Monday morning and still no electricity,
This company is worse than Eskom, systems are down, and the call center staff are useless.

I have been a client since 2015, the electricity stopped working this year 2021. Electrician had a look and informed me that ideal prepaid incorrectly installed the meter and that the tenants were only metered for lights since 2015 till day. I have lost almost R60000 due to this.
