The communication and experience was horrible. The greeter Mr. Green was not friendly at all. Jenna wasn't as well she didn't explain the parking rate at all $40 a day. She told us free parking or pay $40 across the street. The water was Luke warm and ac didn't work. I'm from Texas where the people are very friendly and hotels are great. The experience was not the best. The city is beautiful but I most definitely will need a call from from mgmt.

I had the pleasure of visiting D.C. in October 2019 & stayed at the Hyatt Regency Washington and what an amazing experience! The room was clean and tidy. Hotel staff were friendly, courteous, and professional. Definitely would book another stay here next time I m in the city.

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Washington, DC for a winter getaway and it was perfect! The location is phenomenal for exploring Washington, DC. It s within walking distance to the Smithsonian museums, Government buildings, Union Station and more. We opted for extra room during our stay with a Capitol Suite and it was the perfect amount of space for our family of four. The dining is terrific here, too! We loved dinner at Article One (I highly recommend the fried calamari) and their breakfast selection was perfect. The lobby is open and has a great vibe for watching television on the Jumbotron, sipping a cocktail or just reading a book. It s definitely a great hotel for business, as well as family travel. Thanks for making our stay wonderful!

Pulled up and hotel was closed, presumably due to a COVID outbreak. There were NO SIGNS, no point of contact, no information whatsoever posted outside. Sat on hold for 20 minutes before I was able to talk to a Hyatt rep who told me what had happened. Because I used a (mandated) travel agency to book, I was not contacted directly about the cancellation/closure, which had occurred the day prior.

The hotel was very accommodating to my food allergies. The staff made sure I head aware of what and how my food was prepared. The cook knew the difference between gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. You wouldn't believe how many place fail to understand the concept. The staff also went out of their way to make my stay was comfortable. The proximity to food and museums was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again!
