Had a family take out feast for St Patrick's Day from Dawson's. Everything was delicious! Corned beef, cabbage and carrots, red potatoes, Irish soda bread and Chocolate cupcakes with Baileys Irish Cream frosting. Topped off with a Guinness!

Wouldn't stay here again. For starters, there is no valet, which is disclosed before arrival. However, they note you can pull into the hotel's main entrance to unload luggage before self-parking. So, we did. No one ever greeted us nor did anyone offer to help with our bags. Instead, we lugged all our bags from the second floor of the parking garage up to the 13th floor where we had booked the Governor's Suite. The suite itself seemed clean until we pulled out the sofa bed where my children needed to sleep and it was covered in crumbs. Perhaps these were remnants from the couch cushions but it made us question their "Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment." Then as we climbed into bed after a long day, the room finally somewhat quiet we heard the air conditioning unit. To quote my son, "It sounds like a jet engine." Indeed it did. It was INCREDIBLY noise and intrusive on anyone trying to sleep.

I arrived around 7pm for a 1 night stay. Check-in was very smooth and took about 5 minutes. The receptionist informed me of the amenities and hours of operation, as well as effective parking techniques. Parking is $20 and in a covered garage. The property was quiet and well maintained. The room was properly cleaned. There are signs encouraging mask wearing. Each floor has key only access, which helps keep the property controlled. Everyone seemed friendly and inviting. I stayed in room 960, overlooking Capitol park, and there was a beautiful view of the Capitol. The tv has white noise, which I recommend as the outside noise at Capitol park began around 7am. I did not see luggage carts, which would have been useful, but I also did not request one. Check out was smooth as I was allowed to drop my room keys in a box at the parking exit. I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice room. Great view. Food was good.
Staff wasn't as accommodating as one might expect of the Hyatt.

Great location but no sense of aliveness because of Covid. Rooms ok but a bit dated. Some problems getting into gym... but lots of good equipment. Nice park across street and within an easy walk of some restaurants...
