Hyatt Regency New Brunswick Reviews

Dirty and Smells! Avoid this hotel at all costs - especially my fellow World Of Hyatt members. This will NOT match your expectations. This hotel has a beautiful lobby and great location - but none of that can be overlooked in the face of how dirty they have let this hotel become. Some of the staff has bad attitudes and is passive aggressive.
The front staff is not friendly or helpful at night - the day staff was better. When we checked in the staff member came out and had an attitude as if I were bothering her for checking in. Once we were checked in we were hit with a smell of stale cigarette smoke and a smell I can describe best as dirty. The entire floor was permeated with this smell - it wasn't a few people smoking, it wasn't because people were smoking on the balconies (a much recited line when informing staff of how bad it smells on the floor). We complained to the front desk and were moved to another floor - at a room that was as far from the elevators as possible at the corner with the stairs, because in a primarily empty hotel, that was necessary. This hotel is one to avoid. One surprising aspect is I'm normally surveyed after every Hyatt visit - and yet on this one I wasn't, but I was reached out to by the hotel manager. My message to hotel manager: Stop running your hotel like a dirty motel. To Hyatt corporate / regional team: Visit this hotel yourselves. It's de-valuing your brand. It's a blight on the Hyatt name.

You ever been to a place that look great on the outside but is basic on the inside. That's how i would describe the Hyatt's rooms. Based off the Ambiance of the outside and lobby area, You'd expect to see nothing but glory in the hotel Rooms But that's not the case, It's just so basic When you get in your room you just feel disappointed. Sorry not sorry.

I really like this hotel! Pre-pandemic days, it was a great place to meet up with friends, have a few drinks and shoot pool. As a guest, I really like the pool area. Under normal circumstances, the jacuzzi is open. During our stay on the weekend of November 21st, 2020, just the pool was open. The pool area and the pool itself was clean AND empty! I had it all to myself The hotel, the lobby, the hallways and elevators were clean. It would get my 5 stars if the rooms were updated. They were clean and the pillows I slept SO well and I'm a super sensitive sleeper. No weird annoying sounds or odors. We appreciated that you can access your Google Chrome app and that you can use your phone to operate the tv. I like the rooms facing the J&J building and the terrace. Would most definitely stay here again.

Great location and clean facilities. The staff was absolutely fantastic and really wowed us... only wish I knew I had to pay for parking.

We had great time stayed at Hyatt Regency. This place is clean and customer service is wonderful and awesome. Especially the lady from front desk, her name is Terry with white short hair. She always gives us a big smile and helped us solved the problem. The location is also convenience to downtown with short walking distance.

Beautiful hotel.... I worked at my blood drive there. hosted by star 99.1 and the Red cross. Management was amazing during our visit.

Nice rooms, and food was take out in only because of NJ covid restrictions

Mediocre. The wifi is intermittent and slow, there s no mini fridge or microwave, my door would not close and I was forced to fix it myself, I can hear the neighboring guests.

In conclusion this part of New Jersey is mediocre as a whole so lower your expectations and you won t be disappointed.

Great place, centrally located. Business services were above average and the WIFI was great quality.
