Great place near the beach love the view in the morning

Very clean and beautiful private beach front property. Loved it's new refurbished look. Didn't like the food though it was kind of bland. The cakes were good.

It's nice and great place to spent time with family . All the shop and fast food nearby plus there is some night show at the beach

Love this hotel so much,room is clean , environment is good, staff friendly, definitely I want come back again . Italian restaurant is good, restaurant got sea view,risotto is so yummy.

The location is very nice which within reach of telok cempedak. The infrastructure is awesome but i hate the parking thus minus 1 star there.

Finally open after 3 years renovation. Everything is updated and definitely the best hotel and restaurant in Kuantan.

Good location, many eateries and great beach front hotel

Spent 3 days 2 nights here and I can t have enough of it!
The hotel has great sea view and the room is super comfortable! We can also enjoy the snacks and drinks in the mini bar of the hotel room!
The hospitality is great too, you can request things like makeup remover cotton pad, mouthwash, shaver etc from them!
Mcd, KFC, Subway, Starbucks and some other shops are just walking distance from the hotel!
Their breakfast have a number of choices and it taste delicious too!
There are two swimming pools and also a private beach!
I definitely enjoyed my stay here!

Still on refurbishment, as said on December 2017 fully operation.

Nicely tucked-in resort in Teluk Cempedak with great sunrise views

My brother stayed in this hotel during Deepavali as he was unable to go home due to CMCO. I called up the hotel to surprise him with something and this lovely lady called Lala from the Kampung restaurant was kind enough to listen to my request and surprised my brother with a piece of cake. Such an understanding staff and amazing service. I would highly recommend this hotel just for her.

I have certainly stayed at better Hyatt. After closing for more than 5 years for renovation, I'd expect more than just some touch up and new coat of paint. Driving in to property is real challenge. Traffic is horrendous as it feels like entire population of Kuantan congregate at Teluk Chempedak. Stay only if you have the patience and enjoy the crazy traffic just to reach this property. Parking so very limited.

Strategic area, close to the scenic waterfront beach. It's easy to eat with ease. But now Hyatt is renovating ......

A good place to relax over sea view for business travellers. And a nice family hotel. Not much food options within the hotel.

Nice service from staff in Kampung restaurant and good front desk.

The 5 star hotel is absolutely beautiful and luxurious. The resort's beach is also very clean and well maintained.

Service can't keep up with hotel stars. Said that the sea view room was not given. No smile. Stayed 2 nights without doing room hygiene! Attitude is not friendly to Chinese people!

Nice refurbished rooms, big pool, great location with a nice beach (although has a bit of stinging creatures problem) but can be very crowded during weekends. Also the food is so so.

The place was scenic, morning buffet was the best!!

Location - I drove from Kuala Lumpur, the drive was nice. I got there and left there early so didn't run into any traffic issues.
Beach - The place is ok, if you are looking for a quiet beach to spend sometime with your SO its ok otherwise it'll be quite a bore. Its a private beach, its clean but there isn't much going on.
Drinking - The beach bar Sampan closes up real early and you don't get any other options to drink at the beach. The chukka bar is a big yawn. The place isn't wired for drinking, its very quiet and restrained.
Accommodation - I had a beach facing room, the size of the room was good but didn't feel worth the price.
Dining - Food was surprisingly poor. Thank god for some quick junk food close by.

Go for the Seaview room as the view is amazing. You may catch the beautiful sun rise if you are able to wake up early. Very good location, a few fast food restaurants just a stone throw away.

This hotel is indeed the best, among the prestigious in the city of Kuantan. With the beauty of clean beaches, rows of restaurants such as McDonald's, Starbucks, KFC and others. It is worth it to bring the whole family to stay at this hotel.

Worth price , great services provided, comfortable room and nice environment..

Recommend place for a weekend getaway to chill...ample parking space and near to kuantan city centre to search for local food...rm12 for a ice latte/cappucino. Rm12 for a slice of blueberry cheese cake. Nice coffee and cake!

Place is awesome however some hiccup during check in. Manager Badrul manage to sort it within a jiffy to which highly apperiacte it!

Okay so, I wrote this while I'm still at the hotel so yeah the hotel is nice, it is so colddddddddd and the service is nice too. It just that I think the hotel could improve the foods at the hotel cafe. The foods felt blend, the hotel might add some more seasoning but there many variety of foods at the cafe, from western to "masakan melayu", there is so many patisseries. My favourite thing at there isssssss THE SCENERY OF THE SEA. It is so beautiful. For ladies, I am sure you guys will just pick up your phone and "click, click, click"! But, if you are coming with a child, please take care of them carefully, especially if you go to the beach around 4:00-7:00 p.m. because the sea water at there will be so high!!! So, becareful while you are there and have a nice trip!

One of the better hotel in Kuantan. Stayed for a night while stop over. Very convenient place coz there are MacDonalds, KFC, etc., just within walking distance. A bit of drive to the city centre. Rooms are big and well kept. Carpark are limited thou but the security will help you to find places to 'slot' in if carpark is full.

Had a fantastic experience at the Hyatt Regency due to their front office manager (Nurulazura Jahidan). There was a mistake in our booking and she made it right and made us feel so welcome!! I ll never forget her professionalism and dedication to making us feel at home. A very rare occurrence in today s world! Thank you Nurulazura!!!

For a Hyatt branding it did not meet my expectations especially the food menu available. Very dissapointed.

We went for buffet Ramadhan at Kampung restaurant last week. The menu was a big disappointment.

Stayed 2 days 1 Night . The room is very clean and quite spacious. The staff service is the best , room service too . Dine in their Italian restaurant, good food. Best part, no service charge but I leave tips to the waitress because they helped me decorate my table with roses and candle because I told them it s my wife birthday dinner .
The beach is quite peaceful and clean too .
We wish to extend another night but Selangor suddenly announce CMCO . So had to rush back the next day evening .

Great atmosphere with breezy and nice beach. Foods are delicious and come with affordable price range. Great hospitality to meet your request. Parking space need to be improve.Might be difficult for bring elders to come here as you need to walk a lot.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities...short stroll to the beach and to all the fast food eateries just walking distance...hotel staff all very friendly esp.. front desk Encik Syafiq. Very pleasant and helpful person...and always with a smile. Will definitely be back again.

Beautiful location and ambience however was expecting the room to be more comfortable esp the bathroom.However service by the staff was excellent.

Without doubt one of the best ocean / beach hotel in Kuantan. Great location along the beach.

In a good sense, it's chilly, so it's fun if you can spend your vacation and laugh and not laugh! (* ^ ^ *)

Pros:
- Very clean and comfortable room. Housekeeping very attentive.
- Very nice swimming pool looking over the sea
- Parking space adequate
- Attentive staffs at reception
- Very nice clean beach and the view was amazing

Cons
- slow checking in
- we came early for breakfast but asked to sit away from the buffet area. This is not fair as they wanted to cater bigger family. But after a few arguments and there was a table for 3 available anyway, they allowed us to sit near the buffet area. Management should look into this. Early birds should be given priority seating. This was our big disappointment
- Beware of monkeys! They are there and the warnings are for real
