Turned out to be a very good property contrary to my expectations before I checked in. Rooms were large and comfortable, staff specifically room service and dining area were very courteous that stands out. Entire property is very well kept, very conveniently located if you have to work out of salt lake area. Breakfast buffet had a good spread and everything i tried was nice. Hyatt didn't let down at all with their hospitality.

Attended a wedding at the banquet,
Decor and ambience was super,
Starters were good,
But the food was not up to the mark.
Hyatt really needs to work a lot on their wedding menu and taste, may be take some tips from (Ganpati).

One of the best hotels in Kolkata. Excellent service. Wonderful environment. Nice behavior of the crews. Clean atmosphere. Comfortable stay with every kind of facility. And, the confectionery outlet just beside the reception is so famous. I tested the cakes there and although those are very expensive but worth to buy. Taste was amazing, so is the quality. The foods served in this hotel are hygienic and delicious.

Not much good, if you give payment for food at room then you never ever get your change. Pathetic experience

Disadvantage is there is no baby feeding room. I had suffered a lot for that.

One of the prominant 5 Star Hotels in Kolkata situated in Bidhan Nagar, facing EM Bypass. Good in the sense that it is located conveniently on the way to Kolkata Airport. Good ambience, service and facilities.

Upscale place located strategically on E M Bypass. 20 mins drive from airport. Good food & ambience with all 5star facilities. Pleasure at a cost. One will enjoy the different restaurants & coffe shop.

This is a perfect place to be when you travel to India Kolkata for any occasion. Safe, closed to main attractions. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Food is great and there is variety. Customer service is wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and quiet environment. I recommended this Hotel to anybody.

Good ambience they, upgraded me to the executive suite so what's to complain...

It is a business hotel located very prominently on the eastern metropolitan bypass road, and can be located from the road easily. They have a big outdoor banquet lawn as well and is a regular venue for high-profile weddings as well. It has ample parking space with valet parking, and the room rents are reasonable enough for the services provided.

5 hotel, next to salt lake stadium and metro station. Shopping malls are in the neighbourhood.

The team is very courtious and respectful.. and concerned about the customers.

I would like to raise this concern for Hyatt Regency hotel Kolkata. Their food is pathetic. Forget about the taste & their so called fresh vegetables (totally stale), they ve got a spread of hair served to you mixed with food. This didn t happen once or twice with me, but thrice on the same day despite of constant complaints to the chefs and their staff. They don t have anything else to do with it but just be apologetic at the time of action. Me & my colleague had lunch buffet at their Waterside Cafe, where we escalated this matter to their manager and their executive Chef. They were extremely apologetic about the entire situation and promised to keep a quality check over their food. To my surprise, I ordered in room dining for dinner, and again I found a hair tangled to the masala papad. Picture attached as proof. I have been a regular customer to many of the restaurants at 5 star properties but I haven t had such pathetic food ever. Forget about the hospitality, they can t serve the basics which is a decent food to their guests.
Also, I tried getting in touch with their chef again, to which, the lady at the guest services replied and it s been 20mins and I haven t received a call back yet. Imagine the kind of service Hyatt is expected out of and what it is providing. I would rather choose to eat at a roadside stall than at this place.
