The start of the run down phase of the hotel is beginning to show. A couple of doors on the cabinets in the room were broken and didn't close properly. Most annoyingly the one on the wardrobe with the automatic light, so I had to use my suitcase to jam it closed. On the first day only decaffeinated coffee in the room. I should have been grateful - it was never restocked....

Disappointing. I have eaten at the Hyatt Rosebank on a few occasions. Today's breakfast experience was just terrible from the unfriendly waiters to the presentation and service of our food. Certainly not the Hyatt standard we are accustomed to.

We went for breakfast there. It was a delicious buffet. I had a rather substantial omelette made to order. The ginger tea was made from real ginger. The service was mostly professional although not as friendly as would be expected at such an establishment.

The Hyatt is a gem in Rosebank. My favourite place for business meetings with a trendy restaurant. We met the chef, who cooks up a storm and offers a very creative and tasty menu but very very humble. Very spoilt for choice in Joburg...

I had a meeting at this venue. During the meeting I lost my parking ticket and had to pay R100. 00. This is bad taste. 8 Hours parking is R25. 00 but a lost tickets is R100. It is a rip off! I will ever use this venue for my overseas visitors again.

Great place, very upmarket sometimes makes you feel like you might be successful and you don't know it yet? Bad joke... But the food doesn't suit the atmosphere, the food is at the level of a 2 star hotel

The people at the Hyatt Regency Johannesburg make this hotel special. We stayed there for a number of days and I thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with those who work there. The rooms are pleasant. The restaurants and bar are excellent. Particularly enjoyable is brunch - what a variety of local faire. I also found myself strolling to the outside garden every chance I could. The Weaver birds were working their magic in the trees that shelter the cafe. In addition, there were a variety of other birds enjoying this beautifully gardened area. Having a coffee and watching nature - it doesn't get too much better than that. Within the mall area, connected to the hotel, are many fine restaurants and some shopping. This place is fun.
