Can't speak for the hotel but the restaurant is definitely a must try

Pretty dismal for such a hotel....aircon not working, no hot water...second day now....complimentary coffee not restocked...

Great and beautiful place for conferences and meetings, the great service begins when you get off your car and continues onwards from then. There's transport and the facilities are well taken care off

Gorgeous ambience. Terrible terrible service! I dont know why they never fix it. Its the worst Hyatt property ive been to ever.

Great place to visit. The staff here are very friendly and always ready to help. The conference centre offers a pleasant working environment with top-class meeting rooms, delicious food and very good coffee.

The staff are great but the rooms are very dated and uncomfortable given the price. Noise is also a big issue because the windows are thin - you hear loud music from the bar in the back rooms and the busy road from the front. Location however is very good, which is probably why the owners haven't needed to improve the hotel to justify the high room prices.

After experiencing many special visits to one NINE one restaurant to enjoy their 5 Star quality breakfasts, my associates and i were horrified to see that the 5 Star status has been reduced to 1 Star. All the luxury foods and displays thereof, that justified the cost per head of R 240-00 have been removed and replaced with fare that is mediocre. Better value and quality to be had at Wimpy. How sad that an international brand of this stature has been reduced to this. After four attempts to fry 2 eggs - sunny side up - the 5th egg achieved the desired status. I approached the manager for his response and he wasn't really concerned. Even the staff seem to be de - motivated. What a pity that such a pleasurable eating experience is no more. How sad !

07.03.2019 After work drinks with friends. Such a lovely outdoor setting to chill on a summer afternoon. They were about to start a braai on the one side. Loved sitting outside and just enjoying the view. They don't have a huge cocktail menu so just stuck to my go to favourite Cosmopolitan.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff! Large clean rooms. Love having the restaurant and bar in the lobby both with inside and outside options. Breakfast buffet is tasty with many options. Recommend for your stay in Johannesburg!

A really classy and upmarket venue. Prices are reasonable given the location and profile of the hotel. Will definitely be back

Beautiful place but not very good service on Friday afternoon

Great stay. Breakfast is wonderful, I had to pay extra for it, but it was still good. The juices are fresh and the service was wonderful. The hotel can pick you up and drop you off from the airport. You will have a better price with the hotel. The room was lovely.

The lobby and reception are great, beautiful and modern. But the room that I stayed with my husband was very old, the air conditioning didn t work well, was too hot, the bathroom was old as well. This situation surprised me a lot, once we know Hyatt Regency is a great hotel, expensive and should keep their rooms as modern as the their lobby s and reception. The restaurant is very good as the breakfast that is amazing with so many types of bread, fruits, jams, yogurts, eggs and everything you want.

Beautiful hotel, nice breakfast with the room. Concierge very helpful.

Great for morning coffee meetings or after work catch up sessions with a beer. Very chic and classy. A great spot in the summer when you can sit in the garden, hear the birds chirp and feel the breeze through the leaves.

Did not stay at this hotel, but from walking around inside it is clearly very nice. They have direct access to the rosebank mall and several restaurants. In addition, there is a car rental available. There are meeting rooms and catering available.

Exclusive Business meetings are best held in quiet and serene areas, if meeting in Rosebank, this is the place.

Very nice hotel, with amazing bathrooms on the club floor. But could do with customer service overhaul, at least on the 8th floor. The ladies serving on this floor are so unfriendly

The view out of my window side was beautiful secondly the service is on point .... The Food is a 5 star

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt! The room service was meticulous, had great attention to detail. The meals are exquisite. Its located in the heart of Rosebank near a train stop (that connects to OR Thambo airport.

Was at a year end function. The service was terrible it took more than 45 minutes for my dinner plate to be cleared and my dessert plate was never cleared.

Good place to be at. Services and clientele bus excellent. Loved it...

Waitors needs training on how to handle large functions. There are prosetutes in the lobby that asked men in our group to go with them. The hotel is clean, but not "user friendly" for large groups.

The Hyatt has become even more beautiful after the renovation. The staff are very friendly and everything was very clean and well maintained. A really nice atmosphere in the whole hotel !!!

The waiter diluted my whiskey with water to make look like it's a double

- very noisy (street and city noise) despite being on the 7th floor; check-in staff tried to downgrade our room from what I booked and paid for; air conditioning in the room did not work well & after two reoair visits from the maintenance staff (very quick to respond and very nice and professional) much improved but not cold enough for my taste; no outlets (USB/ other) on nightstand to charge for phone

Rather pricy. The room I had was quite dark. The bathroom is a good size. But for all they hype it gets, the place was rather average.

Breakfast buffet was enjoyable though.

Very nice home. Not very convenient to get from the airport by taxi. Well located near several shopping centers. Nice staff.

What a complete disappointment. A hotel of that caliber and they cover up for their staff stealing from clients. Not understanding how insecure one feels when the security of one's room is violated. You wonder if they can take a dress, what else can they do to you. Anyone I know, please avoid the Hyatt
