I have been dealing with Hutter Auctions for over 10 years now and they are simply fantastic. Adam and his staff are knowledgeable and informative about the items they list and are very helpful in arranging pick-ups and deliveries.

Adam Hutter is running a great auction gallery where you can find gems. Whenever I needed to pick-up by car, they bring it to the curb for me. Great service and professional.

I have been a happy client of Adam Hutter for several years. I know that Adam will advise me well and honestly of the items in his auctions. I can rely on him to be honest, to answer my questions in a prompt manner and to expound on their merits. I need not field the exact questions , he always takes the time and consideration to educate me on their provenance , what sets them apart from the rest , and why they are unique and worth investing in.
In addition to the caliber of his goods , one of the hidden bonuses of his auctions is the good theater he brings to the event ; laugh out loud humor and bringing in his audience together for a neat experience. I appreciate all of the elements of his auction house and recommend it highly.

I have known Adam for many years and met him while he was at another gallery before going out on his own. Adam is honest, dedicated, fair and willing to work with you. I have purchased all kinds of fabulous treasures from Hutter Auction Galleries at great prices including a much loved Warhol. The Warhol wasn't "cheap" but I got a great deal on an image I love that I thought I could never own. Another time, I had an issue with an item and noticed the issue after I purchased it and brought it home. I called Adam and told him immediately. His first response was it's not a problem, bring it back. He cares about the consignor, the buyer and the items he auctions. I will continue to bid (hopefully win) at his gallery for many years to come.

For more than three years, I have attended nearly every monthly auction at Hutter Auction Galleries. I have consistently found very high quality antique and contemporary items. I have taken a number of the items that I have purchased to other antique dealers and they were extremely impressed with the quality (and estimated the value at a price much higher than I paid at the Hutter Galleries). The staff at Hutter Galleries is very helpful pre-auction and post-auction. Adam Hutter, the auctioneer always presents the items at auction in a fair and even-handed manner - if he cannot vouch for the quality or provenance, he will clearly say so. I have and will continue to enjoy the Hutter Auction Galleries experience.

I've been dealing with Adam and the fine people at Hutter for years. Always manage to find some true gems to take home and Adam is the most entertaining auctioneer in New York.

I had Adam come over to Look over some antiques; in person he comes across as a good business man, however I have discovered he's just another person who will tell you what is most convenient for you to hear at the time. Three weeks had past before I decided to email Adam regarding his appraisals for the items and still...he had not prepared his proposal; this is more than a sufficient amount of time. Although Adam stated that he was "definitely interested" in putting the items I had up for auction, his lack of correspondence proves otherwise. A simple email or phone call informing me that he either needed more time or wasn't actually interested would have sufficed. I'm simply left frustrated and confused from his lack of professionalism.

My favorite shopping spree is a visit to Hutter Auctions for great purchases including chandeliers, mirrors and fabulous crystal glasses, china and silverware. They are marvelous gifts for family and friends. Also, I delighted in buying unique African artisanal items. The prices are very affordable considering actual value. Adam is a very experienced manager and auctioneer. His staff, Yanick and Warren ,are terrific and always most helpful. Highly recommend a visit--you never know what you will find!

I had some antiques I wanted to auction and made an appt with Adam to see if he wanted it. He determined that yes he did and would have a truck pick it up. We spoke numerous times; he said don't give to anyone else he would have his trucker pick it up. All of a sudden he did not return my phone calls or emails. Extremely unprofessional and left me hanging without any hope of removing itms before my mothers apartment needed to be vacated. Unprofessional unreliable and unworthy.

BEWARE! Hutter Auction Galleries sold at auction my late husband's antique collection. After the sale, they never gave me any of the proceedings. None. They acknowledged that what they were doing was wrong, but to this day - 2 year later - they still have not paid me any of the tens of thousands of dollars they owe me.

Exceptional service, great communication, they even ship your small items via USPS to lower the shipping costs.

I recently had a very pleasant experience with this auction house.
The owner Adam went above & beyond to take care of my needs...he provided excellent service and is the utmost professional.
I will most definitely be frequenting their auctions.

Late last year I purchased 3 medals from Hutter Galleries. When I took the backs off of 2 of them, it turned out that they were metal-clad composite. No way for auctioneer to know this without removing the backs, so I thought I was stuck. But I called and spoke with Adam Hutter, explained the situation, and without hesitation he offered to reimburse me in full. Which he did within 2 weeks. One of the few auction houses that I can trust.

Honest, very good deals for your money!!! I strongly recommended!!!

Unreal. Adam comes over promptly. Spends an hr or so looking over all your pieces. Tells you, he will call in a few weeks. Not a peep from him. You call him few times, receptionist says he will definitely call.
